Lisa VanHorton Weddings

. Everything went so smoothly day of thanks to her and I didn't have to worry about anything. Thank you for helping us have the wedding of our dreams. <3 100/10, hire Lisa for your wedding. :)

organized and overall a fun and friendly person :) Lisa and her team went above and beyond several times, helping us to secure special vendors and incorporate unique details into our big day. On the big day, I felt completely at ease knowing she was in charge. My husband and I kept commenting that we didn't know how we would have planned the wedding without Lisa. If you trying to decide whether to hire a wedding coordinator or who to choose, 10/10 recommend Lisa. It will be the best money spent on your wedding!

that was when she joined our team. When I felt capable and stress free, she let me continue leading on in planning and brought amazing insight and discussion to the process. When I was stressed and had no idea what to do next she brought guidance and support. She worked great between my mother and I, as we both took on items in the wedding process and was an amazing sounding board for us! I had a vision for our wedding and she embraced it, supported it, and defended it throughout many vendor meetings and panic ideas. I cannot stress enough how grateful I am for her work and dedication as a planner. As an individual, Lisa truly brought grace and patience to the fore front of our experience with her. She knew how to approach hard decisions and was a great support in navigating different wants and needs between my fiancé and I. I am so appreciative of her kindness and her ability to bring myself, my mom, and my fiancé to a place of ease during the wedding planning season. LASTLY, Lisa is FUN - and omg that was a breathe of fresh air! She reminded us to have fun and prioritized this element in our wedding and I LOVED that! I recommend her and her team 1000x over, zero regrets!

brought her own suggestions and helped make my wedding more beautiful than I could have on my own. Had ZERO stress the day of knowing she was there to direct and help set up & her assistant was so sweet and helpful! If you’re on the fence about hiring a coordinator / planner- take this as your sign! Hiring her was the best decision! Thank you so much, Lisa :)

tion full of knowledge, tips, and ideas of her own. I appreciated her vendor recommendations immensely and my only regret was that I didn't hire her sooner.

he was always available to answer any questions I had and made the planning process SO easy! On the day of she set up decor and she oh my goodness it was better than I could’ve even imagined! Both my husbands family and mine had so many amazing things to say about her. If you are looking for someone to make your day picture perfect look no further! Thank you Lisa for helping me bring my vision to life and making everything go so smoothly!!!

d she was always available to help along the way. She kept me on track for certain deadlines and reminded me of things I didn’t even realize I knew I needed! One of my favorite things about Lisa (besides how sweet she is) is how calm she was at all times. She never gave off that she was stressed to me! On the day of the wedding, she handled everything. We dropped off things off at our rehearsal and she took care of everything the morning of our wedding. She did it all from coordinating with the venue, our dessert delivery, our late night snack delivery, DJ set up, shuttle bus, florist set up and everything in between. I don’t think I really had to talk to a vendor the day of my wedding as she handled it all! Leading up to the big day, she was so easy to text any last minute questions or things that came to mind. She always had a positive response and always a solution. Our vendors even commented how organized and laid out the timeline and materials for them were. They were saying how she has one of the best layouts of things which ultimately kept them all organized. I’m unaware of anything that went wrong at our wedding and owe that all to Lisa Vanhorton! I can’t imagine doing all of this all over again without her and her team. She is a dream and has so much industry knowledge and experience.

ways and it literally would not have been the same without her! She was there for every question, every stumbling block, and provided so much support and assistance in all aspects of our wedding planning! She also took some great videos of the ceremony that I look at often. If you are hesitant about booking a planner, DO IT! And do it early! We researched and spoke to a few planners and Lisa was by far the best! I hope that we will stay in touch even after the wedding!

, she even provided the wedding party with pocket sized day-of-timelines (so handy!) I cannot thank her enough and am so glad we hired her as our coordinator.

ast and KNEW I had to have her on my wedding day as well! She was extremely helpful leading up to the wedding, as well as day of with her assistant! One of my favorite things about working with Lisa is that she has such a cheerful, and calming presence! She is also a major advocate of her couples, and makes sure that their wedding day is exactly how they want it! Following the wedding, I've heard from all of my bridesmaids how much they LOVED Lisa and thankful they were to have her with us! The biggest compliment I got was from my mom saying "I AM JUST OBSESSED WITH LISA!!! She was the BEST decision you made for planning this wedding!!" So if you are on the fence about hiring Lisa, here is your nudge to BOOK HER!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!

nce and knowledge of the industry makes all of her clients feel like they are in good hands.( which they are) I trust Lisa and her team to pull off a beautiful day and I know she can for you too! What are you waiting for ?? Book her!

review, and table setting ideas in her bag of magic tricks - I was sold. Not to mention the middle of the night "help, im stressed" texts that she immediately responded to. She was a life-saver, a dress handler, a planner, organized, thorough, professional, and quiet frankly a new friend. Don't try to tell yourself you can do it alone - even if you CAN - don't put the burden on yourself or your family. She is worth every penny and then some.

her. She was kind, communicative, professional, and very helpful in answering all of my questions. She was a much needed resource throughout the planning process, and she kept the day running so smooth and bringing me some extra calm energy when I needed it. I don't know of anything that may have/did go wrong on our wedding day, in my eyes it was absolutely perfect! And that's all due to Lisa handling everything for us. We (I) could not have done it without her, and am positive that we made the right decision to bring Lisa in as our Wedding Planner. We would choose her again in a heartbeat, and will be saving her contact info for the big 10-year vow renewal!

role to make sure our wedding day was stressless. She reached out to all of my vendors to make sure they knew their set up times and where they needed to be which was a HUGE help. She became the contact for my wedding which was a weight lifted. She helped us so much during the rehearsal (it was our officiant’s first wedding) at the statehouse. She made sure everyone knew where they were going and when. On the day of the wedding, she showed up with a calming smile and assured me everything was going smoothly. She made sure my groom and I didn’t see each other before the wedding which was not easy with all the moving parts. She was definitely a friendly, calming face to see throughout the day to calm my nerves. After the ceremony, she helped bustle my dress and made sure the order of events at the reception happened on time and moved quickly. I cannot recommend Lisa enough. She will relieve any stress you might have. She will make sure any issue during the day does not effect you and she takes care of it. Lisa knows weddings and this was the best decision we made while planning the wedding. HIRE HER!

my day-of coordinator with a confidence that I was so grateful for! I really appreciated that she wanted to be involved even before the "day-of," too! Thank you SO MUCH, Lisa!!

. Lisa was so accommodating with the change! She was incredibly responsive and easy to talk to. I really don’t know where to begin with all she did for us! She reached out and made contact with all of our vendors, crafted a day-of timeline and handed out little “pocket” day-of timelines to all our wedding party at our rehearsal dinner (which was so awesome!), she had anything we needed on the day of the wedding! She set up all of my decor beautifully at our venue! She even packed all of our things up and the end of the night and put it in our car! More than anything, you can tell Lisa absolutely loves what she does and genuinely wants you and your partner to have the best wedding day ever! I truly could not thank her enough. Look no further for a wedding planner or day- of coordinator!

thin our budget. Lisa made the day-of our wedding seamless and unforgettable.

to have found the perfect person to get us through the trials, tribulations and COVID! Lisa was simply amazing. When my daughter decided to postpone her wedding in 2020, Lisa pivoted immediately, helping us change all of the vendors that we had set up for that year. She never missed a phone call, zoom meeting or in-person meeting. Tory and I were so grateful for her calm demeanor and extensive knowledge on all things wedding! When Tory had an idea that she wanted to pursue....Lisa always had someone that she knew that could meet her request. Lisa was an advocate for us when we had to make decisions and would work behind the scenes to ensure that everything was perfect. I know that on the day of the wedding, we all knew that we could fully enjoy the joyful moments without a care. Lisa had every detail planned out. I know that all of our vendors were so thrilled when they knew that Lisa was our planner! She put together a special "pocket addition" of the timeline for the wedding day....and handed them out to the entire wedding party. That was such a help, knowing that we didn't have to field the questions as to who had to be where at what time. I can honestly say, we found an angel in Lisa. She understood Tory's visions and always surprised us when she would anticipate all that "might happen" ....always with a well laid out plan. I would give her a 10....if there were that many stars! She is simply THE BEST!

was my rock. She was so incredibly helpful, positive, and always ready to calm me down when I started to panic. She was a phenomenal communicator and I could always rely on her to respond to my (many) emails within 24 hours. On the day of, I woke up with a horrendous cold and found out that my wedding day was going to be cold and very rainy and Lisa swooped in and assured me that despite it all, my day was going to be perfect. She took the reins and insured that the outdoor cocktail party and pictures I had planned were going to be rearranged into something equally as beautiful indoors. She kept me calm, made sure everyone and everything was where it needed to be, kept everything on schedule and did it with the most calming presence. For someone who is as type A as humanly possible and who did not envision a cold, rainy wedding day, I didn’t have a care in the world because Lisa had it covered and it felt as seamless and perfect as it would have if it were warm and sunny. She was one of the very best decisions I could have made during my wedding process and I couldn’t recommend her more. She is AMAZING and you won’t regret it.

She made all of my wedding dreams come true. Everything was so smooth and she handled everything. I would recommend Lisa for any bride that wants a perfect stress free wedding day!

r needs we knew that Lisa was the one! Super responsive and willing to help in any way that she could. We said through the whole planning stages that Lisa was our best hire. We could not have been more happy with hiring her to help with our wedding. Not to mention everything she did for us the day of the wedding, looking back there’s so many things she did behind the scenes that we probably don’t even know she did. She was awesome! From planning, to day of, to recording our ceremony and moments for us, to setting up and cleaning up, Lisa was a rockstar. Thanks for all you did to make our day amazing, Lisa!

as going well, seeing how she could help. Working with her was a dream and made both of us feel calm and confident that anything that was thrown at us would be fine with Lisa by our side. Her personality and professionalism are off the charts. During wedding day she made sure I had nothing to worry about. We can’t thank her enough!

an amazing personality. It feels like she’s your go to friend whenever you need anything. During the wedding coordinator selection process I called different people and just felt like Lisa was different than all the others, super bubbly, fun, and professional and will make you feel comfortable.

always available to answer questions or offer suggestions. I am a total control freak and Lisa is the only person I could have trusted to take charge and get things done! It was so nice for us and our families to be able to actually enjoy the day and not have to worry about all of the tiny details since she had it all covered! It was originally supposed to rain on our wedding day and she made us feel so comfortable about our backup plan, if we were to need it. She was watching the weather forecast as closely as we were, and when it changed for the better last minute, she texted to get us hyped! She also had extra decor that we were able to borrow (cake stand, easel) last minute. You can just tell she truly cares about you having the perfect wedding day. Couldn't imagine our day without her!

day of the wedding! We didn’t have to worry about anything. I handed off all the items we had for the day and Lisa took care of it all. It was such a stress free day for us. We could enjoy the day knowing that Lisa was there taking care of everything. Plus she was just a joy to work with. I highly recommend you reaching out to Lisa to help you create the perfect wedding day!

anning experience stress free and enjoyable. Lisa was always responsive to our needs and her suggestions and ideas proved to be exactly what we needed. The day of the wedding went off with out a hitch and having Lisa there and available allowed all of us the ability to sit back and enjoy the moment. Thank you Lisa for ALL you did we are so grateful for you!

ing there, reaching out and making sure everything was on track. She not only helped plan our wedding like a champ, but she became a friend. A person I trusted and knew that everything would go as planned. She truly knows what she is doing and we were blessed to have had her apart of our special say and also to become friends with such an an amazing human! Thank you Lisa!! We cherish your friendship!! Thank you for helping making our special day perfect! We would recommended her to anyone getting married!! ❤️❤️❤️

, I wasn’t sure a planner was needed. During the planning process it dawned on me that planning a large event with food, entertainment, rentals, and 100+ guests takes experience. A planner was very much needed! Lisa answered all my questions along the way, gave me her opinion when I asked for it, and ultimately saved us money and time with her recommendations and prompt email responses. Aside from her experience and work ethic – it was a JOY to work with her. Lisa is professional, approachable, and kind. Our families and bridal party were able to be fully present with us and enjoy our day without running around to help out. Lisa had everything covered and more -all the things we would have never anticipated needing/knowing were taken care of. There was not a time during the week leading up to our wedding that we felt stressed. Luckily, all we felt was so very excited, celebrated, and loved – just as a couple should feel! I cannot recommend Lisa and her team enough to any couple planning their celebration.

She saw my vision within minutes and was the ultimate hype girl I needed to stay positive throughout all of the crazy planning during a pandemic. We hired her as a day of coordinator, but she was truly there EVERY STEP OF THE WAY!!! Her and her team completely saved my butt the day before the wedding and was able to create 4 CUSTOM signs for us that I ran out of time to do myself!!! I cried literal tears of relief! You won’t be disappointed if you add Lisa to your team.

my day of coordinator. Little did I know at the beginning, that she wouldn’t just be helping me the day of. She helped me through the whole wedding planning process anytime I needed help or had a question! She responded so quickly so I was able to keep wedding planning on track! She was able to help with ideas, other vendors, and any wedding questions I had! Then, the day of the wedding came and I keep telling EVERYONE I know, it is worth it to spend the money to get a day of coordinator. I didn’t have to worry about a thing the day of the wedding. My family didn’t have to worry and they weren’t busy the whole day helping set up because Lisa did EVERYTHING. All I did was bring my decorations and she worked her magic. My decor turned out even better than I imagined it in my head. The way she set everything up was beautiful. Any time there were problems the day of the wedding, I just yelled for Lisa and she came and handled it! The day of the wedding couldn’t have run more smoothly. Lisa is also just the sweetest person and genuinely wants your day to be perfect! She goes above and beyond and I can’t imagine using anyone else! Oh! And a bonus! She lets you borrow her own wedding decorations that she has so you don’t have to purchase some of the items yourself. That in itself was so worth spending money on a day of coordinator. I would’ve spent a ton on everything I borrowed from her! Then to top it all off, she is the one that cleaned up all of my decorations and packed them back up. She got all of our gifts and cards and then made sure everything ended up in a family member’s car to go home that night! It seriously made the day so much more enjoyable for me and my family and I highly recommend using her!

casion! I highly recommend connecting with her for your next BIG DAY!!

g a whole new wedding. The best part - none of our family had to lift a finger the day of to set-up or tear-down - she took care of it all. Can't imagine how the day would have gone without her!

cess. If I could have I would have made her a bridesmaid! Ha! I’m still trying to think of how I can work with Lisa again without needing to throw another wedding! She’s the best!

ride stay calmed and had the most perfect wedding day. I can't recommend her enough for you day of coordination! She is personable, lovely and gets the job done!

. She was so incredible and well prepared for whatever we threw at her! She helped keep the Wedding Rehearsal and Wedding day on track! She brought an emergency kit of all sorts of stuff for the bridal party! She kept everyone calm and collected on this stressful day and we cannot thank her enough for all her help! Thank you, Lisa! You're the best!!

e to sit back and enjoy the wedding day then it was worth it. I am so glad I hired Lisa as that person that kept things running smoothly and stress free. She was beyond worth it and I would truly recommend her to every couple on their wedding day!

ordinator, and even before our wedding was postponed due to COVID-19, she went above and beyond. She was always a phone call, text, or email away whenever I had any question or needed advice on something. She was my person to always text the annoying pictures of each Pinterest project I completed and she replied with such enthusiasm. She was happy to help and be considered with any and every decision we made. Just when we thought she couldn't get any better, our wedding was postponed for three months and, wow, was that her time to shine. While I was dealing with a whirlwind of emotions, questions, and decisions to be made all over again, she took the time to get in touch with each of our vendors to help take on all of the new obstacles. She was incredible. While there were a few hiccups among other vendors on our wedding day (as there inevitably always are with any wedding), all of them went unbeknownst to us because of her choice to go above and beyond to make things go as smoothly as possible. She handled everything like a champ and with a smile on her face. I will sing her praises for years to come. As I have told anyone who has asked, this woman is a WEDDING GODDESS!! To know her is to lover her. I promise you, you will not be disappointed with her work or anything on your wedding day if you choose to work with Lisa.

assionate about technology. She made my Dream Wedding come alive and is an absolute pleasure to work with – a true gem! There is no way my Wedding would have come off without her. I consider her a friend now and hope you have the pleasure of working with her too. If she is available, you will have made the best decision of your Wedding!!!

didn’t have a stress in the world throughout the entire planning process and on the actual day and that’s all thanks to Lisa. Her willingness to help is beyond gratuitous. Heck, she’s so good she didn’t even need to consult me on the actual day which made my day of getting ready even more enjoyable. All in all, if you are a bride like me who thinks you can do it all - seriously reconsider so that you can enjoy YOUR day and let a professional (cough cough Lisa or no one at all) do the coordinating for you! Thank you again Lisa!!!

ked with that were trustworthy and reliable. I originally didn't think I wanted to have a wedding coordinator (because I'm picky), but I am SO glad we went with Lisa! You won't regret having her on your team! <3

st", or "I didn't even get to eat my own cake." With Lisa as our coordinator, none of those things were true. She went above and beyond navigating and communicating will all our vendors, setting up the area, flipping it for us (and bringing in her own army of folks to help with this!) and even coming back to take the cake stand back for us. We both enjoyed every moment of our wedding day and (as far as we know ;)) nothing went wrong (and we got to eat lots of cake)! The only thing I would have done differently is hire her earlier! Thanks, Lisa!

tail of your day, OR you can pick and choose which parts of the wedding you want her help on. Lisa came recommended by a family member of ours who is in the wedding industry. Not only was she organized, talented and effective...she was great to work with. She made sure our vision for our event wasn’t lost in the “noise” of other’s opinions. She was a steady and calm sense of security as well (especially on the wedding day). By the end of our reception it felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend. She is the definition of a kind, funny, talented lady-boss. Book her! You’d be crazy not to!

cision I made and Lisa was the perfect fit at the perfect price. I highly recommend Lisa for this role to anyone planning a weffi g!

nd family as my fiancée and I planned a beautiful 200 person wedding in two and a half months’ time. Lisa was outstanding in her help, identifying options, listening to what was important to us, and coaching us along the way. Lisa also helped us stay on budget as we quickly scrambled to get our vendors set up and all the wedding planning completed. My fiancée loved working with Lisa as well. She like to say that Lisa kept us on track and she was able to focus on the next decisions we needed to make. I couldn’t recommend Lisa more!

journey and allowed us to fully enjoy our sons wedding. She has an answer for every question. Anticipated potential problems and had a plan. If we didn’t have it, she made sure it was there. She worked with our vendors, coordinated time lines, organized people, interacted with our guest to make sure they had what they needed Our sons wedding was more than we could have hoped for because of Lisa!
