About this vendor
I believe in holding hands after 50 years of marriage, snuggling up on the couch even if it’s a little too small, kisses goodnight no matter how late, and holding on tight to the thought of forever.
It’s always the little moments that make your story worthwhile and that is exactly how I approach your wedding day. It’s the squeeze of the hand when you reach the end of the aisle and the kiss on the forehead as you get lost in a moment together. The moments that tend to go unnoticed but make your heart skip a beat and keep the butterflies in the pit of your stomach and every reason that makes you fall in love forever.

I can’t say enough about Lisa. She is an incredible photographer and person. As someone who doesn’t know what to do in photos, I never felt awkward or “posed”, I just had a blast. ...
We love how our photos came out!
Choosing a wedding photographer can be so challenging but if you have stumbled upon Lisa, then you are in the right place. She is the best mix of personable, professional and a joy...
to be around!
After our first call with Lisa, she was already helping me map out a tight day of timeline and answered all of my questions with so much detail and kindness. I never felt like another bride to her in the planning process! The engagement shoot was so fun and a great way to get to know one another.
On the wedding day, every person that encountered Lisa commented to us about how great she was and how she read the room, kept us on time but also let the day feel natural and seamless. It was a new venue for Lisa, but you would never know it. The pictures are absolutely gorgeous and ones that we will cherish forever.
Choosing the right vendors to be alongside you on the day of is really important, so choose Lisa and her team!
Lisa is an absolutely incredible photographer. She is professional, caring, and SO talented! From our initial call, my husband and I knew she was the perfect fit for us. She made u...
s feel at ease and excited for our big day. She also shared her insight and professional opinions, which were always so helpful. This eased my mind on a variety of topics, like first looks and our day-of schedule. Her attention to detail is unmatched. Seriously, every wild question I thought I was crazy for thinking of, she had an answer for, and reassured me I was not crazy for asking. She also sent us a thoughtful package with some goodies and a pamphlet with all the photography-related tips and tricks we might need while planning our big day. The customized to-do notepad she sent ended up being my emotional support object in the months leading up to the big day. Something as simple as that is a testament to the person and business owner she is. She recognizes what is truly helpful and meaningful--and boy, does that translate into her work and her ability to capture once-in-a-lifetime moments. On our wedding day, she was constantly checking in with my husband and I. She was a grounding presence. As for the photos--they speak for themselves. I have gotten SO many compliments about how beautiful they are--they reflect our happiness and personalities perfectly. They were exactly what I pictured for my wedding day since I was a little girl. Book Lisa and her team, you will be in love with them and their work.

On our wedding day, Lisa brought the perfect energy! Calm when we needed it, fun when it was time to celebrate, and always encouraging. She knew exactly how to pose us without making anything feel awkward, and captured the most genuine, emotional, and joyful moments. Her direction was clear, her timing impeccable, and her eye for detail is unreal!! Literally go to her insta and you’ll see what I mean!
Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how lovely she and her team were to work with, and we genuinely felt like we had a close friend cheering us on the whole time. The sneak peeks turned out beyond beautiful!

We were able to print them right away for our families and our new home! Would highly highly recommend the Lisa Hornak team!

Lisa is very communicative in all aspects of wedding planning, has beautiful visions for her craft and knows how to capture pure joy in her photographs. Meghan… the girlfriend you didn’t know you needed. A ray of sunshine and the perfect hype woman. red so beautifully. Lisa photographed our beach engagement session and our wedding day. We treasure these photos dearly! She made sure to get every shot we asked for and captured all of the small details that are often easy for the bride and groom to overlook on the busy day of the wedding. Now we have these moments to remember. Lisa made a beautiful album for us that we can’t wait to show our grandkids one day. We can’t recommend her enough 🩷 she’s a wonderful human being with a huge heart!

ed out, and how quickly we got the full gallery back! The pictures really brought us back to that wonderful day and all the emotions we felt during all points of the day. The day flew by for us, and being able to look at the most beautiful pictures we’ve ever seen is the most special thing to both of us. Not only did Lisa and Nicole make Jeff and I feel our most comfortable and care free selves while taking the pictures, they were there to help with all of the little details you don’t think about- like helping my mom and sister button my dress, putting my husband and his groomsmen’s boutonnières on, and lending me the back of her earring because mine fell and we couldn’t find it haha! I cannot rave about Lisa and her team enough. She is the sweetest and really puts her all into the work she does. Both my husband’s and my family as well as our bridal party loved Lisa and Nicole too and talk about how amazing and nice they were! I cannot recommend Lisa and her team enough - the photographers of our dreams! We would do it all over again with them and cannot thank them enough!

tely loved Nicole!! She made us feel so at ease and helped us come out of our shells as my husband and I aren’t great with posed photos. It was such a joy to have her, and her assistant, John around. Lisa also made the inquiry process and everything leading up to the event very easy! With questionnaires and online access for payments, we were grateful for the way she operates her business. I cannot thank Nicole, John, and Lisa enough for such a wonderful experience. If you are looking for a professional photographer, look no further!!

extra wedding ceremony to be photographed the day before and additional key people that needed to be photographed over the weekend. She made sure that we got all of the shots that we requested and even some that we did not think of staying in line with the timeline we created! Lisa was relaxed and allowed me to add a few extra family member combinations for those that we forgot about! Even making it seem like it was supposed to happen that way. My husband and I loved working with her and so did my family and bridal party! They are still raving about the experience with Lisa. Our pictures turned out amazing and I can't wait to relive our wedding over and over again! I cannot recommend Lisa enough!

g day, she made my husband and I feel very comfortable taking photos that we are not used to taking all while looking natural in the end result! Lisa was so calm, cool & collective on our wedding day when our mass went longer then anticipated and I was getting worried about my strict timeline for photos. She eased my mind, letting me know she had everything under control (and that she did)!! She knows exactly what she is doing and orchestrates the families and bridal party perfectly. We could not be happier with how all of our photos turned out and I couldn't recommend Lisa more for your big day! ate with! For our engagement shoot, she offered several prime locations for us as we were clueless where to even begin. We fell in love with our engagement photos which made us all the more excited for the wedding day. Leading up to our day, she came up with a timeline so we need what to expect, which made it so nice and easy to plan around/accordingly. Lisa made sure to get our input on portraits we wanted included as well. On our wedding day, she made us feel so comfortable while taking the photos and we had so many laughs, which came out perfectly for some of the candid pictures! We just received our photos a few days ago, less than a month after our wedding, and we cannot stop looking at them! Her style is so beautiful and we feel so lucky to have had such an amazing photographer to help us capture and cherish our day forever!

aid, "One day, this girl will be my photographer." After getting engaged in 2018, I the next day I reached out to Lisa and I quickly became part of the Lisa Hornak Family. I've had the pleasure to work with Lisa for my engagement shoot, micro wedding and her team members for my rescheduled wedding reception. Each interaction was better than the next. My family and friends who were part of these moments loved Lisa and team just as much as we did. Lisa and team make you feel like they are more excited for your big day than your are! They hype you up, ooze excitement, and make you feel so good! Then after the event, the pictures come flooding in and your heart just bursts because of how amazing her work is. Her social media posts and blog posts are so special and such a fun sneak peek before getting your entire set of photos. Just when you think you've seen the best pictures from the blog, you fall even more in love with the hundreds of photos Lisa has for you. While I did not enjoy postponing my wedding, getting to work with Lisa an extra time was definitely a highlight. I look forward to working with Lisa for more life events as they arise. If you are looking for a photographer, do not look ANY further, truly you will not be disappointed with Lisa Hornak Photography.
I don’t know where to begin with Lisa and her team. From sending me amazing planning tools, all her help as a covid bride- with amazing recommendations and just chats, to her team....
They just captured everything PERFECTLY! I’ve had so many people say how they can see how happy I am through my face in the pictures, that’s that’s because of Lisa and her team. Forever grateful I can relive my perfect day with my husband through the captured photos.

yet modern; its the perfect balance. I have had many photography consults for wedding and Lisa was the only one who came up with a day of timeline for me, which made me feel very reassured. I have only worked with Lisa's associate Nicole, who did my engagement shoot, which turned out amazing! To this day, my mom still bring up how beautiful those pictures are and loves to look through the album.... almost too much haha. I had a couple of phone calls w/ Nicole prior to wedding day and again, I felt reassured. Nicole and Kelly were my wedding day shooter, and they were phenomenal. From dealing with my many family formals shots to making sure I got all the portraits shots I wanted. I got a sneak peak of the pictures 3 days after the wedding, then a full gallery 10 days later. Its unbelievable! The beautiful photos speak for themselves. So happy that I trusted Lisa and Nicole on my special day, it was one of the best decisions I've made.
My husband and I cannot say enough kind things about Lisa and Kelly. If you choose Lisa and her team as your wedding photographer, you have made an excellent decision.

Their wedding day schedule was just what I wanted - my husband and I were able to enjoy cocktail hour and we got all the photos we asked for and more! Lisa and Kelly are also just kind people. Lisa held my hand throughout many COVID bride meltdowns. She checked in on me and I did not expect that from a wedding vendor. She is just a really good person and anyone who allows her and her team to be involved on their wedding day is lucky.
Thank you Lisa and Kelly. You both are the best!

She adjusted our day-of timeline to accommodate all of the health and safety protocols that were put in place and even allotted time to photograph our drive-by wedding celebration after our ceremony. Lisa's photographs are stunning and our wedding album is more beautiful than I could have imagined. Lisa puts her heart and soul into her work, and her photographs and albums prove it.
