LILLY

out of the park! Our wedding photos turned out absolutely GORGEOUS, better than we could have imagined. Jiho is super talented and also fun and easy to work with. I would highly recommend Lilly photography for any event - you won't be disappointed!

Our wedding photos, engagement photos, etc. all turned out perfect. Moreover, he was a fun person to have around and wouldn't want anyone else taking our photos!

photos the candids, the editing, the action shots are just incredible. Every important moment, laugh, and look is in the album he delivered. His humor, speed and professionalism made him the perfect photographer for me and my husband, who lord love him doesn’t always love his photo taken and gets a stoney smile. Our engagement shoot was equally amazing. I cannot wait to continue to work with him for all life’s important moments.

I love the detail photos, he nailed the complex family photos we had, he was personally such an easy person to work and I couldn't recommend him more.

t be explained as my nerves and emotions runneth over. Unfortunately, Kristina had a difficult time understanding the family members. In the end I didn't have a photo with my children that didn't include my ex-husband. My daughter had photos taken off site and Kristina took a photo and show cased the photo to my daughter and son-in-law. Unfortunately, this photo wasn't included in the photos we received. Fortunately, Jiho located it for us when I went back to ask for it. Also, we have no photos of our guests at the reception. Apparently, this is something that has to be requested. I think Kristina would be fine as a portrait photographer, but definitely not for weddings.

From start to finish, Jiho was responsive, organized and extremely timely with communication. We had discussed ideas of what my husband and I wanted with our photos and when it came to the day of the wedding, I knew I could trust Jiho’s eye and just go with it- which was extremely refreshing after planning for months! He had a backup plan in case the weather didn’t cooperate and it was very reassuring. Our photos were ready in less than 6 weeks and they are BEAUTIFUL! Absolutely gorgeous. I was in tears looking through them because he was able to capture the day so perfectly. They are everything we wanted and we could not be happier!

wanted shots of us in our favorite city and Jiho would beautifully capture us in it! We both were nervous about a shoot, about where to go and how to pose, but Jiho takes the time to get to know us as a couple and made us feel relaxed which made for a fun evening session exploring Chicago! The results are amazing and we now have a magnificent selection of shots to cherish! Thank you Jiho!

d him to me. From my initial email on, Jiho was always responsive and provided very thoughtful answers to questions throughout the process. He gave really helpful advice about how to structure the day for photos and also looked out for my budget advising me when it wasn’t worth spending more money on something. On the day of – Jiho was ON POINT. He was able to take a ton of pictures throughout the day super efficiently to make sure we got everything we wanted. We did getting ready photos and the first look at one location, and then took wedding party photos at 4 different locations throughout the Logan Square area before the wedding. We then took photos with different family and friend groups before and after the ceremony. He was able to direct a ton of people very quickly and keep the day moving. Above all else – his pictures were STUNNING. We talked a lot about the style I was looking for and they turned out exactly as I wanted. He was great at capturing subtle moments with my husband and I throughout the reception and ceremony, and he was really creative with the group photos. And he got the photos to us in 6 weeks! Our experience with Jiho was great from start to finish, highly recommend!

ck a balance that we didn't receive from any other vendor. Shortly put, Jiho is a professional. BUT IT GETS BETTER - Jiho is also an incredible artist. As we looked through our photos (which he turned around in less than 6 weeks!!), we couldn't pick a favorite. Every. Photo. Was. Amazing. Stop looking for photographers and hire this man (and his team - Ryan was a superstar). Check photographer off your list and worry about something else.

lent and ability to create beautiful shots out of different angles, poses, was phenomenal. Our session took place when the sun was still out so it was tricky getting the right shots but he nailed it! Jiho was easy to work with and I love that we got right down to business from the first shot to the last. Our session with him and the two hour time we had was utilized and maximized to the fullest extent. I highly recommend Lilly Photography for any occasion!

y, he was very responsive and easy to communicate with. He made us feel confident in booking his team members. Kristina and Robb both did an amazing job capturing every moment and detail of our special day! Jiho’s entire team is professional, easy going, and creative. Both photographers arrived on time, and everything went smoothly and perfectly! We highly recommend Lilly Photography!

r than we could have ever imagined. He is very talented and has a great eye for capturing the best shots. Him and Ryan were our photographers on our wedding day and they were both extremely organized and were able to capture all of the important shots that we wanted and more. Jiho was also super helpful before the wedding. He helped us with our timeline to make sure we were able to get the pics we wanted but also enjoy our wedding... he nailed it! I can’t say enough positive things about Jiho and his team and I’m so happy we were able to have him and Ryan capture our special day!!

ive, punctual, fun, and professional. Jiho has great attention to detail, very creative, and delivered unique photos. He captured our wedding in an artistic way. Thank you so much Jiho! Can't wait to hopefully work with you again in the future :)

s until my wedding day. He was kind enough to travel to Massachusetts in the dead of winter, and he made everyone involved comfortable and provided a ton of laughs. He’s so skilled at what he does that you never worry about what he’s going to do or how he’s doing it. He joked around with our wedding party during photos and got a ton of wonderful pictures with genuine smiles and laughter from everyone. My husband and I commented after the wedding that neither one of us had any idea where he was during the ceremony - he was a total ninja! He got so many amazing candid shots of us and our loved ones, it’s going to be impossible not to order prints of every single picture. I’m not good at being serious, so most of the pictures of me are ridiculous and goofy, and they’re perfect. I don’t know how he knows where to be to get the perfect picture at the exact right moment, but he does. And it’s incredible. After he published a few teaser photos, people were swooning over the artistic genius of the photos’ composition. And then when he released them all to share with our guests, people couldn’t stop saying wonderful things about them - and even a month after our wedding, people are STILL texting me just to say they looked through the photos again and felt like they were reliving the day all over again. I will cherish these photos forever, and we can’t thank Jiho enough for the wonderful experience we all had with him. If you’re on the fence about whether or not to book him for your wedding, DON’T BE. Book him immediately and know that this is one aspect of your wedding day you won’t have to worry an ounce about.

day and night about how amazing Jiho and his team were and continue to have family and friends tell us how gorgeous our pictures are! Jiho made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera was a master at creating the most unbelievable shots. He was awesome at communicating with us long-distance throughout the process since we lived out of state and made us feel at ease the whole time. Thank you so much, Jiho and everyone at Lilly photography for making our wedding day the most special day of our lives and our pictures something truly amazing to cherish forever!

earing how easy and comfortable it was to work with Jiho we gave him a call. Jiho was incredibly easy to work with prior to and on our wedding day. We had our first look and wedding party pictures set for various outdoor locations prior to the ceremony, but in typical Chicago fashion there was unexpected rain and a dramatic temperature drop. No sweat. Jiho had various backup plans in place and did not let us worry for a second. We trusted him completely throughout the day and I'm glad we did. Our pictures came out AMAZING. We loved how he captured us and the day completely, and in such unique ways. We were so impressed with his style and the candid's that were captured. We love all of our photos and have so many family and friends raving at how amazing they are as well. Thank you SO much Jiho!

ess. We worked with Jiho and couldn't be happier. Communication from the day of booking to the day of the event was great. He made sure he knew what we wanted and executed the day perfectly. The day of, our original location for wedding party pictures was occupied by a local festival, but Jiho quickly diverted to another spot that was equally beautiful. I was so happy with the professionalism, the genuine personality, and the work that LILLY photography did. We got our final pictures about 5 weeks after our wedding. Definitely recommend.

re professional, efficient, and delivered beautiful, unique images. The final images exceeded all expectations! I highly recommend Lilly Photography and look forward to working with them for future family photo shoots.

some person to work with and made our wedding day seamless. He went above and beyond what we could have ever imagined. We had him for both the engagement session and on our wedding day. Jiho's work is honestly beautiful and we could not be happier with both our engagement and wedding photos!

and I met up with Stephanie at a Starbucks to see what we would expect from wedding photography. Of course, you always want the posed shots, but we also wanted pictures that captured the moment in real time. Stephanie and the owner of Lilly Photography (Jiho) answered back to my emails right away with any questions that I had. Stephanie and her assistant were amazing on the day of our wedding! We love all of our pictures! We had such a hard time picking out a photographer, but we definitely made the right decision. At first, I was going to pick a commercial photographer (Timothy Whaley, etc), and I’m so glad that we did not. I spent countless days comparing photographers and reading reviews. Wedding photos are timeless, and it is something that goes through the generation of families. We got married on June 9, 2018, and got our pictures back by June 24, 2018. Their are so many different pictures that we love. The pictures really tell the story of our wedding day and how happy we were the whole day. We decided to have our day photographed for 9.5 hours. I’m glad that we made the investment in Lilly Photography because the pictures were priceless!!!

iho was warm and knowledgable. He helped me understand his process/style and then worked to get a gist of what I was looking for. On the day of, he was professional and lovely. I was able to enjoy the day with total confidence that Jiho would take it away. The photos turned out even more beautiful than I could have imagined and I would highly recommend LILLY for your photography needs.

n as it is a great way to get comfortable with the photographer prior to the big day.

more!!

grapher. He’s also taken family photos for my cousins and other friends so I had firsthand experience to his quality of work. From initial contact, Jiho was super responsive in following up and answering all of my questions. We met prior to our ceremony for portraits around the city, his relaxed personality helped ease all of our pre-wedding jitters. I gave Jiho a few places I wanted photographs taken, his amazing talent for spatial placement and working with light translated into more beautiful photographs than I ever could have imagined. I was not interested in hiring a videographer for my wedding (just my personal preference) and wanted to focus on photography. Jiho’s photographs captured the entire “story” of the day, all of the little moments, I could not be more pleased with his work. I cannot more highly recommend Jiho and Lilly Photography!

e were able to maximize time with our family and friends. Jiho and Kathleen were easy to work with. They captured the true beauty and reality of the day without having to pose or stage anything.

nd!

ce for the day, before we had even booked him. I then learned that he had photographed another family friend's wedding and they raved about his work. Jiho did not disappoint- he has an eye for pictures and scenery that others do not. His pictures are professional and artistic, but do not turn out cheesy (as wedding photos can often be). One thing we loved about Jiho was his ability to control the situation, but not take it over- he blends himself in and just does his thing. And the outcome is beautiful wedding photos that we will cherish forever. In just the few days since we have had our pictures back, we have continued to get compliments on how beautiful they are. Overall we had a great experience, amazing photos and memories for a lifetime- highly recommend Lilly Photography, you will not be disappointed!

our engagement session. My fiance and I loved how he would make the most of out of the place and situation. He is very creative and has an eye for details. The pictures turned out amazing!

e had a lot of really good ideas of where to take photos which was a big help to me since I already had so much on my mind :) He sees opportunities that not many other photographers would see. This was totally our style. Our venue was Salvage One and we didn't have a super traditional wedding, and the photos match the look and theme of the day. He was really easy to work with and responded to emails very fast. He showed up an hour early for the day so we ended up with even more photos than expected! They definitely captured the whole day and got a lot of later dancing pics before they left for the night. To top it off, we had our photos ready a month after our wedding! Highly recommend Lilly Photography!!!

f me so well that I felt like I just floated through the day. Jiho accomplishes this because he has the perfect personality for this job--he calmly and subtly keeps things on track, but he is relaxed and SO creative at the same time. He worked with my plans while making little tweaks and giving me professional advice in a non-judgemental way. I was so happy that he was there on my big day. The photos are wonderful. Jiho is particularly talented at capturing the following: -Moments of love (ie, as I started walking down the aisle, he snapped a shot of my dad looking proudly down at me) -Flattering/ heartwarming candids -Humor (I laughed out loud multiple times looking at my gallery) -Unexpected views/angles (I never could have dreamed that some of the architecture photos would turn out as artistic as they are) None of my photos feel cliche. I feel like he captured the emotions, the color, the grandeur of the venue, and the joy of that day in a way that makes me feel like I am re-living the wedding day when I look at these photos. Picking Lilly Photography and Jiho's team was a decision that has left me with perfect memories that I can cherish for years! Thank you so much!

tos and have them ready within a few weeks, he also helped us with our entire wedding day timeline, showed up super early and always replied to our emails within hours. His second shooter, Krista, was just as incredible and attentive to every little detail. This was hands down the best money we spent on our wedding and we can't wait to work with Jiho again in the future!

nt photo's as well as our wedding with Jiho and he did NOT disappoint. He is so incredibly talented and artistic, when we got our wedding pictures back I cried as we went through each picture because they were all so beautiful and special in their own way. Every moment was captured, and from so many different points of view, I wish that I could hang every single picture in my house because they are all that good! I have never felt so beautiful in my life and can't thank Jiho enough for capturing our day.

e stunning! Highly recommend them!

Most importantly he captured my husbands emotion during the ceremony because that's my favorite part of the wedding and I would like to remember and look back to. Definitely will book them again in all the important events in our family.

at she was absolutely right. There are photographers who are less expensive. However, prior to her saying that, some of the best advice someone gave me was to make sure we invested in a good photographer for our wedding. Some people will remember your wedding. Most won't. 10 years from now people may remember some highlights/having a relatively good experience. You and your spouse (or familly) though will remember EVERYTHING through the pictures. Every detail. Every moment. Every tear, every smile, every dance move, every toast. Invest in a photographer who will help you relive your special moments (wedding or not) for as long as you have breath on this earth. Jiho (and his team) from Lilly Photography were exceptional. They were patient and assertive. He and his team made us comfortable, made sure we got the shots we wanted, and more. He.is.AH-MAY-ZING. You will not be disappointed. in his work. Book Lilly Photography - get Jiho to capture the moments you never want to forget. You won't regret it. Trust me.

ions, to a fault, yet somehow Jiho and Krista went above and beyond my wildest dreams. The only tough part about hiring a photographer this good is choosing between all the unbelievably fantastic photos ;) But seriously, if you let Jiho have creative control, he will not disappoint! Would hire him again in a second. Thank you so much for your creative eye and for being a trooper in the rain! (I mean, do you know any other wedding photographer that can be thrown into an unknown photography situation and roll around in the mud to get the perfect shot?! C'mon now, this guy is a gem.)

k to it the day of the wedding. We had many people in our wedding party and Missy was very professional and direct to make sure we got all of the photos taken. She had great ideas and the pictures turned out amazing. Her and Jose (our second shooter) captured many details and special moments throughout the day. I would highly recommend Lilly Photography and we will be sure to use Lilly Photography for future pictures.

knew right when we got engaged that I wanted to book with Jiho. His shots are brilliant, he's extremely punctual, and he's so easy to work with. He captured the best parts of our day in such a beautiful way. If he's booked, go for one of his assistants! Everyone's work is amazing. We ended up with thousands of photos and each one is better than the next! Worth. Every. Penny.

ng photos, they completely blew us away. Jiho has such a creative eye and amazing attention to detail. He captured so many small, sweet moments I had forgotten had even happened in the whirlwind of the wedding day. He does a perfect job of blending artistic, "wow" photos, and capturing raw emotions. Also, during the ceremony and reception I don't even remember seeing him, which in my opinion is what also makes a great photographer. He blended in and was able to take the most stunning photos we have ever seen. They are true works of art. I will be recommending him and his team to everyone I know in need of a wedding photographer.

photos and is extremely professional. You can tell he truly enjoys what he does. He finds unique settings on the fly and it makes the whole experience fun and exciting. He captured our special day so well, it brought tears to our eyes as we went through the gallery. Jiho is the best!!!!

g the smallest moments. We could not have been happier with our photographer selection. He was always professional and a really nice guy. After our amazing wedding experience, he now has life long clients! Thank you, Jiho, for capturing the sweetest and most hilarious moments from our wedding day!

ographer to save on costs, and with Jiho's amazing photo-journalist style, you won't need the video. He also did the photos for my older sister's wedding, and those were also incredible. You have to use him if you can get it him:)

r to meet with my parents and me, and my dad and I truly loved his work. We dabble in photography for fun and thought Jiho was not only a talented photography, but also an incredible artist. He took our engagement photos in Sept. 2015, and we couldn't have been happier. He took our wedding photos, on Sept. 4, 2016. When we received them, I was expecting some nice photos, but EVERY photo is beautiful! There isn't a bad photo of anyone: bride, groom, families, wedding party, friends, etc. We hired Jiho and an assistant to come, and we met Kathleen on Sept. 4, who is also extraordinarily talented. Jiho has a fair price for his work, which we also loved. After seeing wedding photos from other friends and family (of their weddings), I know my parents and I made the right decision in choosing Lilly photography. Jiho and Kathleen captured so many beautiful and memorable moments throughout the day and evening, including some that my husband and I don't remember at all (wedding day was a blur!). Jiho and Kathleen were also very respectful of my rabbi's wishes to not use flash photography during the ceremony and stayed in the aisles to get photos. I was concerned about this, but the ceremony photos turned out to be beautiful! I also don't remember seeing Kathleen or Jiho often at all during the reception, and neither did my husband or my parents, which was great! The hardest part has been choosing which photos I want in a wedding album, which is not the worst problem to have! Thank you so, so much to Jiho and Kathleen for everything!

We love every single wedding photo that they took--each one is more artistic and beautiful than the next! Since we planned our Chicago wedding out of state we ended up not meeting Jiho in person until the wedding day (we did, however, have several check-in phone calls leading up to the big day), but this was not an issue at all--we highly recommend Lilly Photography for any couples planning their wedding out of state, too. Thank you, Lilly Photography, for our gorgeous wedding photos! We'll treasure them forever!
