Our wedding at Lighthouse Sound was absolutely perfect! The atmosphere, views, staff, and little details all came together even better than we imagined. The views of the water were exactly what we were looking for to capture that coastal feeling. We loved having our ceremony and cocktail hour overlooking the bay, followed by a cozy, homey, and romantic reception space that felt so welcoming. Autumn was amazing from start to finish - so kind, organized, and on top of every detail. She made the planning process so easy and made sure the day went off without a hitch. Dinner service was incredible, and every staff member was so attentive and friendly. We truly didn’t have to worry about a thing! Our guests are still talking about how gorgeous the venue was and how much they loved the food. One of our favorite touches was when the staff brought us appetizers and drinks while we were taking pictures. It was such a thoughtful gesture that meant so much in the moment. We can’t say enough good things about Lighthouse Sound. It was the most beautiful setting and the most perfect day—we’ll be forever grateful!

We had the best wedding ever here!! Cannot say enough good things about the amazing staff who helped us the day of. You can truly tell the staff cares about making the day go as smoothly as possible! Everyone was so nice and willing to help in anyway! Autumn is hands down the best coordinator we could have asked for. She stepped in a little later into our planning and blew us away with how amazing she is. We had MANY phone calls, text messages, emails and meetings throughout planning and made sure to know every detail. I know she genuinely cares about all of her couples. I couldn’t imagine our wedding day without her. The venue itself is beautiful. I loved that it had a bridal suite for all the girls to get ready! The views are incredible. There are plenty of beautiful backgrounds for pictures! I also love that the bar was separate from the dance floor so it never felt too crowded in there. The patio outside was perfect for guests to hangout! We are so happy with how everything turned out!

Our events coordinator will gladly meet with you and work to customize the menu for the wedding of your dreams. We can also accommodate an indoor ceremony in inclement weather or winter months. Lighthouse Sound offers a range of other comprehensive services for you and your partner-to-be as you celebrate one of life's most important milestones! The team employs a complimentary in-house wedding coordinator who can help you experience a seamless planning process. In addition, you'll have access to private bridal suites, a ballroom, a dance floor, and floor-length linens. nt we first visited, we were blown away by its beauty and charm. One of the standout features is that when you book this venue, you get the entire space to yourself, which is perfect for creating an intimate and personalized celebration. We had a larger guest list (about 200 people), and Lighthouse Sound was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate everyone. On top of that, there was ample parking, which is a major plus for any wedding day. A huge part of what made our experience so wonderful was Rose, the event coordinator. She was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and professional. From the start, Rose made us feel at ease and really sold us on the venue with her warm personality and expertise. She made the planning process smooth and stress-free, always being there to answer questions and provide guidance. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen family issues, we had to cancel our date. This was a difficult decision, but Rose handled everything with such grace and understanding. She made the cancellation process seamless, which we deeply appreciated during an already challenging time. Even though we didn’t get to celebrate our wedding at Lighthouse Sound, I would wholeheartedly recommend this venue and Rose to any future brides. If you’re looking for a gorgeous location with top-notch service, Lighthouse Sound is an incredible choice!

our guests tell us that this was the most beautiful wedding venue they have ever seen even months after our wedding. Our ceremony took place in the gazebo, cocktail hour on the patio, and reception in the tent (rented from Coastal Tented Events). All with incredible water views, cooling breezes, and great light. We were blessed with amazing weather, but also loved the indoor backup plan. The Staff: During the planning process, we worked with incredible coordinators. Shellie and Rose were THE BEST to work with. Rose joined the team later in our planning process and we were lucky enough to have her and Shellie both as our coordinators as our wedding was Rose’s first. They were willing and excited to answer my one million questions the months leading up to the wedding. Shellie communicated with our other vendors and gave recommendations every step of the way. Their day-of coordination was SPOT ON. They made sure every decoration, floral arrangement, sign, etc. was perfect and that the entire schedule of the day ran smoothly. The wonderful bartenders and servers provided outstanding service for my husband and I and all of our guests. The drinks were great and the food was incredible. Which brings me to the food… The Food: We loved how many options were available when selecting our menu… dinner tiers, plated or buffet style, hors d’oeuvres, and desserts. Having the catering done in house was so helpful and made our planning process easier. The Golf: My husband loves to golf! He enjoyed playing the course on the morning of our wedding (he got one foursome for free). The pro shop was happy to help with scheduling tee times for his groomsmen and our other family members that played as well. He said this is one of his favorite courses he has ever played! We cannot recommend Lighthouse Sound more. We had the most incredible wedding and credit so much of that to the wonderful people and experience Lighthouse Sound. We can’t wait to come back for more meals and golf next time we are in town.

bo that had a beautiful backdrop of the bay and Ocean City. The sunset there is also picture perfect! The inside is just as beautiful with huge chandeliers and a romantic fireplace. The wedding coordinator, Lauren, was so professional, very attentive, and helped me every step of the way with planning a wedding, especially through COVID. She really helped us plan and work through all the regulations to make our wedding perfect for myself and our guest. Her and the staff were truly amazing. The food was probably the best food I’ve had and I have had almost all of my guest say it was the best wedding they’ve attended. They’ve said the food was delicious and compliment the staff on their kindness and attentiveness. We definitely will be coming back to visit this gorgeous place for lunch or dinner! They really made me and my husbands wedding so special! We can not wait to see our pictures!!

was so nice for our guests to just walk up to the patio for cocktail hour, and then right inside for the reception. The inside has beautiful wood beams and fit our wedding perfectly. Lauren truly made this experience for us. She was so great throughout the entire planning process; she always got back to me very promptly and was always willing to meet in person for any reason. She was very professional, and completely handled the day of coordination as well which was so great. I highly recommend Lighthouse Sound and Lauren! She coordinated all of our details efflrtlessly and promptly responded with answers to questions we had during our planning as we live in New Jersey and the wedding was in Maryland. Our wedding day went off without a hitch, thanks to her. A few weeks after the wedding, we returned to have dinner and we were greeted like family members. The entire staff took care of my guests like they were their own family, the food was fabulous, the bartenders were quick, and they were all very accommodating to all of our requests! Even when he came to final number changes they made it happen, no questions asked! The overall price per person was a little more than what we were budgeting for, it was worth it in the end! Their ceremony location overlooks the bay with a skyline view of Ocean City, Maryland and the reception area has huge bay windows that you are sure to always have a beautiful view anywhere you are sitting. Classy and elegant is a great way to describe this venue. We had 3-4 different points of contact throughout the process as they had turn-overs within the company, but that would be our only issue if you would even call it that--each contact was extremely nice and Shellie the main contact seriously made the day run perfect! Thank you Lighthouse Sound and your entire staff for giving my husband and I a fairytale day!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
