We used to think that mood boards were just a way to capture general inspiration and vibes for an event. Life in Bloom proved us wrong as they managed to bring our mood board pictu...
res into reality. We don’t just mean getting an approximation, we mean a fully accurate interpretation that honestly enhanced those stunning images. We used Life in Bloom for décor for our Indian wedding with four events across four separate venues all around Chicago. We are still receiving praise for how amazing each event looked, with guests specifically highlighting the attention to detail as well as the gorgeous floral arrangements. One guest told us that she had been taking pictures of every single floral arrangement because they all looked perfect. Another guest sent us a message that said, “the Wedding Mandap and the bridal walkway were the most beautiful I have ever seen. The floral arrangements at every event were mind blowing.”
From our very first meeting, Rachel, Tim, and Sara spent a lot of time understanding our wishes. They then crafted color palettes and mood boards for each event, giving each one a completely unique identity while making everything feel cohesive with consistent motifs throughout. One of our worries with so many events was that it might end up feeling repetitive, but every single event felt completely different to the one that came before. In this process, we loved seeing how excited the Life in Bloom team was, working off each other and continuously suggesting new ideas. They worked well together while never losing sight of what we wanted or what made sense logistically. When we arrived at our first décor sample, we knew we had made the right choice. Everything looked stunning, and their initial placements of linens, napkins, and tablescapes were already so well thought out. The actual events were no different, looking jaw-dropping at every single venue. We loved that we got to see each room first, and there are plenty of pictures of us literally on the floor in awe. We wish we got to see guests’ reactions for the room reveals because we know every single one left people speechless.
We also wanted to highlight how easy it was to work with the Life in Bloom team. We never felt any friction or resistance. We loved seeing them at every venue, watching our reactions from afar but never interrupting us. We later learned that one of the installers from one of our venues never showed up, and apparently Tim himself jumped in for an emergency complex installation of the large centerpiece item. On our wedding ceremony day, there was a lot of unpredictable weather. Instead of forcing us into the much easier rain plan, Life in Bloom worked with us through a lot of fluid decisions and installation that let us have our dream wedding outdoors, something we appreciate so much.
We really hope people look through the Life in Bloom portfolio and see their impressive work, especially their florals. They did so many custom things for us that were all very intricate, and they had to work on a ton of different line items in many different locations, day after day. We can’t recommend them enough.
We worked with Brian and Leah for our Valentine’s Day wedding, and they brought our vision to life in a way that felt intentional and so well thought out. Throughout the planning p...
rocess, I emailed them constantly, and no matter how many questions I had, they were always patient and kind. They never made me feel like I was asking too much, and they were genuinely committed to getting every detail right.
One of the first things I told them was that I am not a fan of roses. They took that to heart and created florals that felt lush and romantic without a single rose in sight. My bridesmaids each had their own unique bouquet, and it gave the whole wedding party this sense of personality and care that I loved.
Brian and Leah also came up with the idea for a heart-shaped escort wall. It was such a clever way to nod to Valentine’s Day without leaning into anything cheesy. Our guests loved it, and it added a fun and personal moment to the night.
When we walked into the venue on the wedding day and saw everything fully set up, I immediately started crying. The flowers, the colors, the textures, the way everything worked together, it was all even more beautiful than what we had pictured in our heads. The space felt warm and magical, and it was clear how much thought they put into every part of it.
We are so grateful for Brian and Leah. They listened, they understood what mattered to us, and they created something that felt truly special. Thank you Brian, Leah and the Life in Bloom team!
Life in Bloom was outstanding and truly handled every detail when it came to florals and rentals for our wedding.
From the start, Brian made the entire planning process feel easy ...
and organized. He was our main point of contact and did an incredible job guiding us through decisions, while also bringing ideas to the table that we wouldn’t have thought of on our own.
Our wedding was on New Year’s Eve, which adds a whole different level of complexity, and the amount of work their team put in to make everything come together seamlessly did not go unnoticed. From planning through execution, they handled everything flawlessly and made the entire day feel effortless for us.
What really stood out was how seamless everything felt. The design, setup, and overall coordination came together perfectly, and we never had to worry about a thing. They have a great eye for what works and helped elevate the entire look and feel of the wedding.
We’re incredibly grateful for all the hard work that went into making our day so special and couldn’t recommend Life in Bloom more.

ith Brian and Leah who were both very kind, patient, and thoughtful in their work. They made our event come to life with classic, subtle beauty that still managed to pop in the venue. Our guests have raved about the floral, custom dance floor, bar, and tables. 10/10 recommend.

king with Erin and Life in Bloom was special– we didn't know how special until we saw the final floral design on our big day! Erin and the entire Life in Bloom team are brimming with creative talent and truly brought our wedding at the Chicago Cultural Center to life. We can't recommend them enough!
If I could give them 100 stars I would. Hiring Life in Bloom was the best decision we made for our wedding. We worked with Brian, who is the absolute best ever. He took our dreams ...
and made them reality. So much so my husband cried at our room reveal. The entire planning process from the vision board, sample viewing, site walkthrough and wedding day was perfection. Every meeting was personalized and professional. I truly will miss going to their office (which smells and looks amazing) and working with them!
This company and Brian understands luxury decor. Everything looked was more expensive than we paid. I felt like a celebrity bride! Our guest said our wedding transported them into another world and felt like a movie. The aroma of fresh flowers greeted the guests once they walked into the space. Everyone was shocked by the florals, custom dance floor and all the design elements . Do yourself a huge favor and hire them!

ing process, they were responsive and helpful, providing creative ideas. They offer a sample so you can see your vision on a smaller scale in real life to confirm your choices—and it was an incredible experience! When I peered into the venue for the first time, I was truly blown away by the STUNNING florals, the lights, and the custom bars. They brought everything together so seamlessly and are so, so talented. Thank you! 💐🌸🌼

invested in bringing our vision to life!
One of the things that really stood out to us was the preview meeting. They gave us the opportunity to see our table floral arrangements in advance, test out my fiancé’s boutonniere (which was so important since he has allergies), and design my bridal bouquet. That level of care and attention meant so much to us and helped ensure everything was just right for the big day.
The final result was breathtaking. From the bridesmaids' bouquets to the large reception pieces, everything was beautifully executed and cohesive. It was ART! Life in Bloom also handled our hanging lighting, custom bar, and printing our stunning escort wall. Every detail was so thoughtful and polished!
Their creativity, skill, and professionalism exceeded our expectations, and we’re so grateful for the role they played in making our wedding so beautiful and memorable. We can't recommend Life in Bloom enough!

n the first day was calm and serene, with blush pinks, whites, and just the right hint of purple in the garlands. The mandap was stunning, and so many of my friends took photos to save as inspiration!
On the second day, the floral arch was a total showstopper. Guests kept asking who designed it, and I loved pointing them to Life in Bloom. But more than just the beauty of the flowers, working with Brian and Jensen was such a great experience. They put so much care and passion into what they do, and their kindness made the entire process feel seamless and special. They excel at what they do, and I’m so grateful for the impact they had on our wedding.

p them from absolutely killing it! From the initial design board, preview meetings, to the big day, they thought of every little detail and we open to any and all feedback for minor changes I wanted! It was great working with them on all the things, florals, drapery, lighting, linens ( including the napkins which I’m still obsessed with). Highly recommend if you want a one stop shop to bring your vision to life!

tely wiped away when I met with Erin and Tori at Life in Bloom. Not only was their initial proposal dynamite, but they truly LISTENED to our feedback. Intently. Eagerly. They immediately started coming up with alternatives that matched our vision and budget. They were so open to feedback. This team truly wants to deliver YOUR perfect day, not just theirs. I never saw my fiancé get more excited about our wedding than when we were meeting with Erin and Tori. Talking to them really made him feel like things were going to be done well and go according to plan. That peace of mind was huge. Their minds are constantly whirring and thinking about your day. Months after our initial meeting, they were still drawing on new inspiration and ideas. I was blown away by our preview. I was expecting to have to suggest a lot of changes and be left with some degree of uncertainty between the preview and the wedding. Instead, I left the preview beyond excited about how awesome our day was going to be. They produced the wedding of my dreams within a budget I felt comfortable with. Their excitement was contagious and their support was palpable throughout the entire process, and especially on the big day. I could not be more impressed with this team. I cannot express how grateful I am that we trusted them with our wedding. They exceeded even our highest expectations. I feel lucky to have worked with such talented and creative people.

Life in Bloom played a HUGE part in making our day absolutely perfect and I wouldn't have changed a thing!!

m. It's insane how they took my random pinterest photos and created a dream come true. They made us the enchanted forest of our dreams. It was romantic, magical, I mean wow was it amazing. Erin McLoraine was amazing to work with. She really took a few ideas and transformed the room into a magical wonderland. She listened, gave advice, and was so helpful along the way. I love Life in Bloom!!!

ability in tune with the bride's vision and together came up with several possibilities. Using alternate tablescapes, we were able to pin down the flower and candle selection. Ultimately, each floral arrangement was gorgeous and complemented every other to create a whole design. The greenery over the dance floor was fabulous! Even though this is a significant expense, it is a really important element in the event.

The floral selection was breathtaking, the artistry behind their work is unparalleled, and the talent and kindness of their team was above and beyond what I ever could have imagined. n selecting a venue that did not allow open flames, I was a little lost going into the floral planning process. I knew what I liked, but didn't really know what I wanted. Erin was so patient and easy to work with as we refined our vision - her creativity, knowledge, and attention to detail made me feel at ease throughout the process.
Besides Erin and LIB's stellar reputation, one of the reasons we chose to work with them was because they offer a floral sample - we went into their offices a few months before the wedding to see our wedding florals and bridal party bouquets. This was so so helpful! Being able to see the flowers before the big day - and knowing that everyone was on the same page in terms of vision - eliminated any stress or uncertainty.
When we finally saw the florals on our wedding day, we were elated - they were gorgeous!! Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the they were and my bouquet was an absolute DREAM - I still smile every time I see it in photos :)
Overall we are so happy to have worked with LIB - I only wish we could do it all again!

’t sure that it even went together or looked good together. She heard everything and made it come to life. There were some displays we weren’t sure what we wanted but knew we wanted it to all go together. She brainstormed a variety of options and even took the time to draw up potential displays so we could better picture it. She paid close attention to detail and added memorable touches to each table. Seeing all the displays on our wedding day took my breath away, and I cannot thank Erin and the Life in Bloom team for making our dream wedding a reality.

within my budget since I didn't want to go HAM on flowers. I worked with Erin from beginning to end and she crushed it..... fun, calm, professional, detailed oriented- perfectly lined out proposal with clear pricing and picture inspo, and impeccably fast communication even when I added last minute items on 2 weeks before the wedding. (Did I mention I was planning the wedding from California). My heart offically stopped when my husband and I walked into the room for the first time. I couldn't have imagined it any better. I always trusted they would do a great job and they exceeded my expectations. Thank you Erin/Life in Bloom!

h Erin from Life in Bloom.
She came to the initial meeting with a gorgeous vision board that surpassed my expectations. She had done her research (thank you Pinterest), she was fun, friendly, and professional. She came with her own ideas, was open to mine, and made planning fun and easy.
I didn't really get to sit back and enjoy the full set up on wedding day, but looking back on the pictures, SHE FREAKING SMASHED IT!! It was absolute heaven and I would HIGHLY recommend Erin and her team to anyone getting married in Chicago!

From the first moment I met with Erin, I knew she could sense my vision and the look I was trying to achieve. From the warm initial welcome I felt very comfortable working with Erin and her team. Erin also set up a sample display and we were able to see our floral arrangements months prior to the wedding and make hands on adjustments to make sure it was exactly perfect. The day of, Life in Bloom went above and beyond what I had envisioned. The floral arrangements were absolutely perfect and were truly the icing on the cake of the room. The small attention to detail in the floral arrangements to make sure everything tied together did not go unnoticed and it was beyond perfect. I would choose Life In Bloom again and again and would highly recommend their team to anyone wanting a professional floral team to bring their dreams and visions to life!!! Thank you Life in Bloom for making my day look soo magical.

She had wonderful ideas and was always extremely timely in her responses, always answering every question/concern we had. Everything on our wedding day turned out absolutely STUNNING. The chandeliers hanging from the ceiling with the floral coming down was jaw dropping. I loved my bouquet and the place card table soo much, too! I would highly recommend LIB for floral/production. They are an organized, efficient and amazing one-stop shop and do an absolutely amazing job.

I can’t say enough about their exceptional knowledge, professionalism, prompt communication, and hospitality. Life In Bloom will always be #1 on our list for event planning :)

professionally and personally, and I can honestly say Life in Bloom are the absolute best in their field! From start to finish they were able to take my ideas several steps further and transformed the Peninsula Ballroom beyond my expectations. One of the many things I loved about working with them is they were able to create a 3D rendering of the reception which is so helpful to really bring everything to life so you get a sense of what it will look like before your special day. The flowers they source and arrangements they create are absolutely stunning and truly just breathtaking. Life in Bloom was definitely my favorite vendor throughout my entire wedding process and I highly recommend them to anyone!
There are truly no words to express how incredible Rachel, Tim and the entire Life in Bloom team is. My husband and I worked with them for our June wedding at the Art Institute of ...
Chicago in the Modern Wing. They are without a doubt the best of the best. Rachel and Tim are two of the sweetest people I have ever met and are both so incredibly talented making the ultimate floral/décor dream team! Rarely do people notice or comment on flowers at weddings but I can honestly say that people are still talking about our floral arrangements and the décor from our wedding night. Life in Bloom turned our wedding into the most stunning, whimsical mid-summer's night dream. On top of their talent for creating the most beautiful events, they are an absolute pleasure to work with.
Their personalized and thoughtful approach, attention to detail and incredible talent for executing stunning arrangements blew us away through and through. During our first meeting with them (before we had even officially hired them) Rachel and Tim spent as much time necessary to make sure they fully understood our vision. They were so patient as they walked us through all of our options, showed us some very special and unique ideas and took careful note of what we did and didn't like. By the end of the meeting, I could tell that they completely understood our vision down to the smallest details and even helped us clarify the details that we weren't so sure about.
Following our meeting we received a very detailed and easy to understand proposal, mood board and custom rendering of everything we had discussed with them. We also had a meeting with them a few months before the wedding where they actually created a sample floral arrangement for us to look at and make tweaks to. We had up until a few weeks before the wedding to make changes and finalize a lot of the details which was such a relief and gave us time to really fine tune what we wanted.
The other floral/décor companies that we spoke with didn't put in half the effort that Rachel and Tim did to make sure they understood our vision. I had not one worry in the world about how our day would look because I completely trusted that Rachel, Tim and the Life in Bloom team would execute our vision more beautifully than we could ever imagine and they did. They completely blew us away!
Thank you Life in Bloom, we love you guys!

easy and wonderful experience. Rachel went above and beyond to make sure every detail was included and even was able to give me a computerized visual of what the room would look like. I'm still hearing from various guests how incredible the flowers were, both in the bouquets and in the reception venue. They turned our industrial venue into a lush dream. I can't say enough about this great company!

s working to ensure that our vision came through clearly in the finished product and that we were all on the same page as we went through the design process. We loved that as part of the proposal they gave us a digital mockup of the cocktail hour, dinner and dancing so we could really visualize everything prior to committing. They also did additional mock ups for us as my husband and I really needed to see everything on paper to get the best understanding of the decor. LIB provided a mood board for personals (i.e. bridal bouquet, boutonnieres, etc) so that we could get a sense of what those would look like as well. They also did a complimentary staging at the venue so we could see what the tables, centerpieces, i.e. would look like at the venue (truly made it feel real!) and this step also helped fine tune some decisions. Everything was stunning and exactly what we were looking for - we would highly recommend Rachel & her Life in Bloom team!

The mood was set for a beautiful wedding night with an amazing flower arch used for the ceremony to suspended pieces above the head table, gorgeous centerpieces, a stunning wall of escort cards, and entryway with lights and vines to walk through, and beautiful details everywhere throughout the room. Erin M was the one in charge of our flower plan and she helped from beginning to end with our ideas and adding her suggestions too. She was happy to keep helping us change and finalize the plan all year long until we had the perfect plan for us. On wedding day everything was exactly how we envisioned it and more. I can not say enough about how happy we were with Life In Blooms work!!!

m immediately. Erin is super sweet and made me feel at ease with planning. She worked with me through several changes to flowers, vases, and budget all while making the process very painless. Our flowers on the wedding day were stunning and exactly what I had hoped! Now I need another reason to hire them again!
We hired Life in Bloom for our March wedding in Chicago, and were completely blown away by Rachel and her team! During our first meeting, we had very limited direction and weren't ...
sure what we wanted. Rachel patiently helped us pick our color palette, greenery, arrangements, and more. Throughout the process, we had many add-ons. Rachel helped us, even up until the last-minute, pick out the most beautiful floral designs. We didn't invest in a floral "trial", but had no hesitation that the flowers would turn out gorgeous. When I first saw the bouquets, I was completely in awe; it was everything I dreamed of times 1,000. Next, I wasn't able to see the ceremony space until I walked down the aisle. I stopped at the end of the aisle to take everything in; it was like a dream. We had greenery down the sides of the aisle, a huge floral arch, and many arrangement/candles at the entrance. It was magical!! Finally, Rachel's team outdid themselves for the reception. The centerpieces were elegant, not overbearing, and timeless. We got married in March, and the greenery/colors were a perfect transition palette for winter into spring. We couldn't be happier! Thank you, Life in Bloom!
