My husband and I are SO happy we went with Lidia's for our rehearsal dinner. They are pros at organizing rehearsal dinners. It made the process so easy and stress-free. The upstair...
s venue space was gorgeous and private. As well as comfortably fit our ~50 guests. The service, drinks and food were also exceptional. We would highly recommend!
I would give 1 star but the food was AMAZING and we had many compliments on that. We started with Terra a year in advance and she was very accommodating and seemed very relaxed and...
easy to work with. We had our wedding and reception in The Loft and from the beginning had a head count of 50-60, which she said was not an issue. Within the two-three week timeframe while confirming the details of the event, she stated she had “forgotten” we were having a DJ and a Photo Booth and that we would have to “figure out” how to accommodate that. She was hard to get along with in regard to getting into the room prior to the ceremony, we had literally an hour to set up the entire room, table, altar, etc. Upon arrival, she was confrontational with our wedding coordinator. There was a “misunderstanding” we are told in regards to the cake, we had told the vendor when they could deliver and set up and the vendor had to deliver 30 minutes early and I have photos and a video of what the cake looked like upon delivery…that is not the cake that we had for the reception, our wedding coordinator thankfully saved the day again and had the cake propped up so it wouldn’t fall and the bride and groom had to cut the cake during dinner before it fell. Terra blamed the vendor and was very rude about it in the emails. I and my mother walked past Terra as we were going to the garden for pictures and she did not acknowledge either of us. We spent over $7K dollars that evening and honestly if I had known Terra was going to be so rude and disrespectful I would have paid more to go somewhere else.
To echo the many glowing reviews below, Terra and the team at Lidia's make planning a rehearsal dinner a breeze. Lidia's has several beautiful spaces that can be utilized, and they...
provide a number of menus and customized options for your event. Terra was a delight to work with from beginning to end, and many of our guests (most of whom were out-of-town) remarked on the great food, beautiful space and exceptional hospitality of our event. I was told by several vendors that Lidia's was their top choice for a rehearsal dinner venue in Kansas City, and it did not disappoint! Thank you, Terra and team!
I honestly cannot say enough about Terra and the staff at Lidia's. My parents eat at Lidia's quite frequently so it was a no brainer to host their anniversary party at Lidia's. Eve...
rything was amazing! The food! The staff! The service! The loft! Terra was very responsive and so accommodating - it was a joy and a pleasure working with her! Thank you so much to Terra and the rest of the Lidia's staff!!!
We hosted our rehearsal at Lidias last weekend and it was AMAZING! Terra was an absolute pleasure to work with during the planning process and day of! We used the space on the main...
floor and it was gorgeous. We brought in some flowers, but really didn't need it, the space alone was perfect. Our two servers were SO sweet and helpful. The food was unbelievable - several people said the filet was the best they'd ever had (and it's obviously not their specialty, being an Italian restaurant). The Trio and Salmon were amazing, as well. We really had the perfect rehearsal!
Loved lidia's! We used this for our rehearsal dinner location! Since we were having Jack Stack cater our wedding, we didn't have a lot of options that interested us, but Lidia's di...
d fantastic! As the bride, I don't drink beer/wine, but prefer a specific wine cooler and they were kind enough to provide that drink even though they didn't serve it within the restaurant!
We hosted a December rehearsal dinner for our son and daughter in law at Lidia's. We are from out of town so really had to rely on good communication with Mary Ann

rything would go as planned. It was an absolutely magical evening. The staff, the atmosphere and the food were all fantastic. I would highly recommend Lidia's for any special event. We will definitely be visiting Lidia's as often as possible on our trips to Kansas City.
Terra took so much time making sure I had all my questions answered. I was a “bridezilla” from what I have been told. 🤷🏽♀️ Our rehearsal dinner was absolutely perfect I couldn’t...
recommend Lidia’s enough. Terra was attentive and super understanding of all my families special needs. (My grandfather is in a wheelchair and she made him feel completely comfortable with that)
We had a wedding “dinner” at Lidias in the Terrazza. The room is beautiful, the food is amazing, and the staff that worked our wedding were great! It turned out to be a beautiful n...
ight and we were able to open up the big doors out to both sides of the patio. I wouldn’t change a thing!
We booked our sons rehearsal dinner here and it did not disappoint. The rooms were both so beautiful and we had a hard time picking between the two options for space. The planning ...
process was easy and the food was amazing. They served our pasta right at the table which was fun for our guests to experience as well. I would definitely recommend the space for any type of event.
Lidia's, Lidia's, Lidia's,... I can say it over and over again and love it every time!!! Lidia's KC is off the charts. I had recently hosted a bridal shower for my best friend at L...
idia's (located in Kansas City) but planned the entire party from Hawaii. Needless to say, what I thought would be a difficult challenge to plan (since I have never seen the space in person but only via photos taken by Terra (sales manager) and my sister-in-law), the shower turned out to be a huge success. Lidia's has a team of unbelievable people!! They go above and beyond their duties. Terra assisted me in my NUMEROUS emails with grace and kindness (mind you, I had lots of questions about the loft space we used for the shower). From the very beginning til the end, I had the best service from Lidia's. Wojo was our private server and all I can say is "WOW!!!" She was amazing!! Unbelievably kind, helpful, professional, and the way she described the menu, makes you drool!! Wojo made sure set-up went along swimmingly and if I needed any assistance, she would be there. She even went above and beyond to think of things most private servers would not think of. I have planned parties before and normally, I would have to move tables myself, or ask for certain table linens numerous times but Wojo was on top of it! She almost read my mind before I even said anything. I had a LOT of set-up to do prior to the shower but from time to time, Lidia's staff would come up and ask if I needed assistance and they were ready to help! Sleeves pulled back, ready to help. I am beyond grateful to Lidia's for such an excellent team!!
The food doesn't disappoint either. The food was exceptional and even though I am back in Hawaii now, it's something I crave!!!! Especially their pasta trio and their Tiramisu dessert (yummmm!!!) Their tiramisu is just like eating it in a cafe in Milano. Moist, packed with flavor, light and fluffy. The ladyfingers were not overly drenched. And the handmade pasta,.... Omg!!! Has the perfect amount of chew and when you had the shrimp and veggies/sauce with it,... It's the perfect combination.
I had THE BEST experience with Lidia's and HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Lidia's for ANY event. Showers, parties, birthdays, just about anything. The space is beautiful, warm and inviting. Can't get that Italian charm anywhere else!! If I ever have to plan another event in Kansas City, I will definitely be returning back to Lidia's. Bravo on an excellent team!
Our guests would not stop talking about how much they loved our reception. The food was a HUGE hit!!! Terra (event manager) was so easy to work with and went above and beyond to ta...
ke stuff off our plate! I love that Lidia's provided free flowers for the tables AND allowed us to use their decorative items for centerpieces! We had about 70 people at our reception and it felt full and lively. Would highly recommend and would choose them all over again.
I cannot say enough good things about Lidia's Kansas City. We had the wedding in their new room The Terrazza and the reception upstairs. Everything was wonderful Mary Ann ( sal...
es manager) and Wojo ( legendary banquet captain) did a fabulous job. The food and service were top notch. I was planning the wedding from 1000 miles away, so I put a lot of faith in the team at Lidia's and they really came through in so many ways. From the big details like coordinating with the florist to small like fixing my mother's tea. They were kind, professional and helpful.
I absolutely love the environment at Lidia's! They were incredibly accommodating for all of our guests, the service was outstanding, and we learned a lot about Italian food in Kans...

For my thank you to my family and friends who donated both time and money to my wedding, I took them out to eat at Lidia's for the rehearsal dinner. We ate a delicious Italian mea...
l in their private dining loft above their restaurant. The meal was exquisite, using herbs that they grew on-site! If you are a "foodie" like I am, give the gift of delicious food and wine! My family and friends had the time of their life, and Lidia's threw in a cookbook free for my guests to sign for the new couple! The service staff was so personable and helpful, like a second family really!
