Centrally located, nicely appointed rooms, clean, and friendly staff! It had been a couple of months since I booked the room, and I was so pleasantly surprised. Truly very nice!
We had a wonderful stay at the Marriott City Center, Lexington Sunday through today. Though we were in town for a happy event (my son started at UK), we experienced an unfortunate event when our car essentially broke down 30 minutes outside of ...
the city. After managing to get to the hotel safely, we parked it and needed to figure out what to do past Tuesday.
We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place and better people. From the moment we got there, the staff worked to try and calm our nerves and help in any way they could. From Priscilla at the front desk making sure we were fed in the morning to Tracy going above and beyond to ensure we had an extra night stay covered (keep in mind its move in weekend and sold out), we truly experienced what every teams customer service should strive to be like.
We will stay at this property over and over the next 4 years. This entire team is amazing. Every person has a smile and empathy that seems to be quickly lacking elsewhere. Thank you so much for making what could have been an unimaginable week into a memory filled one we’ll never forget.
The location is quaint for big city feel and price. If you like clean and nicely acquainted rooms this is great. The valet didn't like my bus for some reason? They can accommodate with off street parking or overnight on the street. The staff is...
incredibly friendly and were quick to check me in when I arrived at 1am. The food was ok for breakfast and was standard faire for Continental breakfast. Now the one thing that was gross... The shower floor is an acrylic type and is fine but isn't being cleaned appropriately. I don't blame the cleaning crew perse but they need to scrub and use vinegar etc to remove dirt that is embedded in the textured surface.
Service animal friendly of course and the staff didn't hassle me about her which is great.
Don't stay here. The hotel staff is incompetent, and they steal money from their customers. Billing for nights and fees that weren't used. Then lying about it and refusing to show any records.
The cleaners also don't clean the rooms and they ...
smell like mildew. The bar served drinks out of dirty glasses. The elevators are disgusting, parking is outrageously expensive. There are so many other options.

ike this it's probably a decent place to stay, but I would avoid at all costs if you value your time and money just in case this isn't an isolated scenario.
