Her bridal makeup was exactly what I wanted BUT she made my bridesmaids look like clowns. She assured me that she had experience with different skin tones, but it was quite obvious...
that she did not know how to apply makeup to anyone with darker complexions. My bridesmaids all ended up fixing their makeup themselves and she made our wedding run an HOUR behind schedule. I asked her in advance if she would need an assistant for 6 bridesmaids, but she assured me that she had plenty of time to do it herself. She needed an assistant or better time management.
DO NOT BOOK WITH HER!!!!
I booked Alexa do be my MUA for my wedding. She was responsive until the moment she received payment. After that, I had to email/call several times to get ...
a response on getting a bridal trial date yet. I actually still have yet to receive a reply to an email I sent a few months before my wedding. She did however, reach out to cancel on me TWICE a few HOURS before a bridal make-up trial AND a spray tan trial. She also the cancelled on my rescheduled bridal make-up trial AND cancelled on doing my wedding at all due to a family trip for her daughters make a wish. This was 1 MONTH before my wedding. I can understand the trip. The problem I have is that she told me she would refund my money and never did and has been ghosting me ever since. AVOID HER!!!!
I contemplated writing this review for a very long time because I feel bad, but in the end I want other brides to be informed prior to booking with Alexa. I will start off by sayin...
g she is VERY talented at what she does, but that comes with caveat of doing it when she feels like it. I ended canceling Alexa because of numerous situations tar occurred

to requests and made us look very natural. Everyone was very pleased with the work that Alexa and her ladies did. The wedding photos turned out great as well. Being able to do all of our hair, makeup, and dressing on location was so relaxing and made the day even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend using Alexa's service to have your hair and makeup done for your wedding!!
Alexa and company are amazing! She explains everything she is doing for your makeup and the trial was really fun. Very comfortable to interact with. I was in a wedding then had ...
her for my own wedding as well and both experiences were absolutely wonderful. Will refer her to anyone and everyone. They traveled what I thought was a long distance as well- even for my trial.
Make-up and hair at home perfect and easy. This was a great decision to go this route and I was able to relax with my girls. A job well done.
