Leticia, was my own personal Wonder Woman for my wedding. We originally hired Leticia as the baker for our wedding cake, but she quickly stepped up to help us across the finish lin...
e. Only 3 weeks before the wedding, our original month-of coordinator was injured and had to back out. Thankfully, not only is Leticia an AMAZING baker, but she offers full-service event planning and coordinating through her company Leticia’s Events. Leticia and her fiery assistant Pearla jumped on board to get all the final details, timeline and important items hammered out. Our wedding literally would not have run so perfectly & smoothly without Leticia and Pearla’s hard work and attention to details. Not only that, but her cake was absolutely incredible! I tried a dozen bakeries in the East Bay, and none of their very expensive cakes could hold a candle to Leticia’s in terms of flavor and moisture! Additionally, Leticia gave us a complimentary cake tasting before we booked with her, which is almost unheard in this day and age. Anything you need from coordinating/planning, catering, rentals, and even a large rehearsal dinner space, Leticia’s Events has you covered!!
Leticia (and Perla) were professional and approachable from the first time we contacted her. We hired her for our daughter's wedding reception in May, 2024. We had the wedding p...
lanned at a church in town, and a venue for the reception picked out, which turned out to be one that she had worked at before. We had a couple of things we wanted to do ourselves (our friend did the DJ job, basing the music on a couple of playlists my daughter came up with, and we arranged for the cake ourselves, and another friend did flowers). Leticia was very gracious and flexible to work our preferences and resources into the event. She even incorporated a few of our items into the decorations, and that came out very well. Both her and Perla have very good decorating taste!. Leticia handled all the catering for dinner, (all we did was select the menu), the decorations, the event planning timeline, and the interfacing with the event venue. They were racing around keeping everything on an even keel during the event, and even the cleanup was a smooth job!
From our very first messages back and forth to their well-wishes after my wedding was over, my experience with a Leticia and Mercedes was more than I could have hoped for. Their e...
xpertise and experience allowed my husband and I to offload a much of the day’s stress onto their shoulders. Hiring them was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding, as it allowed us to more fully enjoy the moment with our loved ones.
Leticia and Mercedes are quick to respond, welcome communication, and will make you feel heard. I described the vision I had for my wedding, and they turned it into reality. Leticia and Mercedes can coordinate your wedding, but they also offer other services, like confections, decorations and floral arrangements. This all in one solution made my life so much easier. Mercedes’ decorations and floral arrangements were even more beautiful than I had hoped for. They have great ideas to help you plan out the itinerary for your event: without their ideas, I don’t think as many of my guests would have joined us on the dance floor!
I highly recommend anyone who is considering hiring them as coordinators/planners/decorators to do the same. I did a lot of research to find coordinators and their prices were also the greatest value.
You will not regret it. I am so thankful they were part of the best day of my life.

esults. It was beautiful and exactly what we wanted. A dream come true. We have wonderful memories that we will never forget. I love that Leticia’s Confections & Events is a one-stop shop. We hired Leticia & her team for everything, the event coordination, cake, catering, florist, decorations and DJ. They are all fantastic, very talented and we enjoyed working with all of them. Leticia’s cake was beautiful and tasted amazing! We love that she gave us samples of the cake flavors, fillings, frostings of our choices to make sure we liked it first. Leticia also helped us with our venue selection, which we are so grateful. Leticia & her team were flexible and worked within our short timeline. She is detailed, organized, fun, a great person to work with and was always available anytime we had questions. You can count on Leticia & her wonderful team to make your dreams a reality! We will definitely hire her again for our future events!

g while working - I am so glad he reached out to her! She truly is an all encompassing wedding planner an a miracle woman! She and her team met with us monthly leading up to the wedding to ensure that they understood our wedding vision, arranged a mock-up on site for the reception in the months preceding the date, reminded us of details that we would have forgotten, reached out to vendors for quotes for additional items like transportation and chair rentals for the ceremony, and did impeccable on site coordination and decor the day of our wedding. We also received so many complements on the amazingly realistic fish-shaped (Tang) groom's cake Leticia made for us both for it's appearance and taste. Many of our family and guests also commented on how lovely she and her team are- so warm and personable! The reception decor far exceeded my expectations and perfectly fit my vision- it was magical! She and her team were always readily available to us, communicative, receptive to feedback, and professional throughout the process. I love that she is a one-stop shop for all of your wedding needs, but also flexible in working with other vendors you choose to suite your preference. She saved me the day before the wedding and somehow found a glass that would fit perfectly in our candle holder for the unity candle ceremony that I sprung on her at our rehearsal when we realized the wind would blow it out- she is truly a miracle worker! She and her team are worth their weight in gold! Thank you Leticia, Mercedes, and all for making our day so special!

lped out in a snap of a finger. The music during while we’re eating was soothing and the music when we were dancing was exhilarating! The appetizers, main course, and desserts were so delicious I couldn’t stop myself from stuffing my stomach with more. Everything went exactly how I imagined it! I am so grateful to the team who helped out in making this beautiful unforgettable experience.

our to come see the venue and map out ideas with us and even packed us a cake tasting ice box! Her cake and home made frostings were fantastic, our guests loved it. The flowers and decorations were absolutely beautiful as well. She really listened to what I wanted but also still put her personal touch on it. I was super nervous because I didn’t get to see any of it done until I walked down the aisle but I was not disappointed!! I had guests telling me all night how beautiful and elegant it all was and even my hubby loved it! I really couldn’t have asked for a better day!!

ns, extremely thoroughly to details that I overlooked and the cake tasted amazing. It was light, airy, moist everything you’d want in a wedding cake. They were flexible when needed. I wouldn’t doubt to rehire her as a coordinator for my friends/family’s weddings in the future. They were also great dancers!

one month before our wedding and she found a venue within a day of our liking and asked US what we want our price range to be and she made EVERYTHING happen that we wanted. Leticia took care of everything, and allowed myself and my now husband to focus on our school. She took our vision and brought it to life while allowing it all to be at a comfortable price range that didn’t kill our bank account lol. You will never be disappointed for choosing Leticia. She is the sweetest and funniest person to work with to make your day the most special. She managed to plan our wedding and give us all the attention we needed! Thank you again Leticia for everything!! I never had to worry that things wouldn’t be done.
