While planning a wedding remotely, the hair/makeup was the scariest thing to book. I’m so glad I chose Lemondy! They were able to book a trial in the limited time I was in town bef...
ore the big day and Leyla made me look exactly how I wanted. She did the same for my mom and bridesmaids. She’s the absolute best! If you're getting married in the NYC area in 2025, book her soon before someone else does.
Olesya did my hair and makeup and my mom's for my wedding in October and neither of us could have been happier!
Olesya is a very calming, even-keeled presence and very easy to tal...
k. I got ready with my parents that morning to avoid the stress and social overstimulation of getting ready with more people. Olesya added to that calm and easy kind of environment we were going for.
I had a hair and makeup trial with her a few months prior which was generally good, but I definitely had notes after as I looked more in more in a mirror over the course of the night. I emailed a follow-up with changes and adjustments I wanted to make.
Day of my wedding, Olesya was clearly armed with a plan and was keeping my adjustments in mind. I have sensitive skin and really bad rosacea that can be hard to work with and get even, and my skin is also quite pale which can be hard to match without making me look lifeless. But Olesya got my complexion right so I felt like I had a lovely dusting blush and natural look with just enough sparkle and falsies to make my eyes feel large and sultry.
For my mom, she took a look at my mom's coloring and her dress to put together a really tonal look that also brought a lot of emphasis to Olesya's spirit or her talent.
All photos besides the one of my parents are credited to the unbelievable Fernando and Roge of Warm Up Lab (https://www.warmup-lab.com/) who were the photographers that captured our wedding day in breathtaking fashion.
I worked with Marta for my trial and day-of hair and makeup, and she brought two other artists to help with the HMU of my bridesmaids and groomswomen. Everyone looked BEAUTIFUL and...
the artists carried everyone's vision out perfectly. Marta was so personable during the trial and open to trying anything. The day of the wedding, I let her know I had different inspiration photos and she was able to quickly adapt, adding more blush and adjusting my lip color to be more "me." Highly recommend!
I met Alina P for my trial a few months before the wedding. She took the time to go through my pinned photos of hair and makeup. When I left my trial, I felt secure in my look fo...
r the wedding. Alina wound up doing hair and makeup for both me and my mom on my wedding day and we both loved our looks. Alina also stayed until the ceremony so she could do touchups for the photos and right before the ceremony for me and my bridal party and mom.
Maria and Anastasia did hair and makeup for my bridal party (5). It cost extra to add a 3rd stylist but it made the morning run smoother. Everyone loved their looks and looked so beautiful. Everyone was amazing and helped to make everyone look and feel beautiful.
Let me first say, hair and makeup was the vendor that I was most worried about for our wedding. I have been in multiple weddings and every time have not liked the look that was pr...
ovided. I barely wear makeup on a day-to-day and feeling like myself was my #1 priority. Nina was my artist (as the bride) and she gave me the PERFECT wedding look. I felt like the best version of myself all day and my makeup and hair held all day and night which was impressive given how much dancing we did! The whole lemondy team made all the bridesmaids, my mom and my MIL look beautiful, all looking natural and beautiful!
We worked with Marta for bridal and bridesmaid makeup and everyone looked stunning! I was SO hesitant to hire someone for makeup because I hate the look of traditional heavy bridal...
makeup, but Marta created the most natural, glowy looks for everyone. I felt like she really listened to me and understood my vision, and she was just really lovely to work with overall. If you're looking for someone that'll make you look like your natural best self on your wedding day, hire Marta!
Barbara, Alexandra and Marta did an amazing job making us all look gorgeous on my big day! I had a sizable bridal party (9 ladies) and they made each one look lovely. In general my...
girls and I don't wear a ton of make-up and they worked with each girl to customize how to make them look perfect but also still feel like themselves.
I have short hair and Barbara did a perfect job of styling it, something I have had issues with in the past. Next time I am going to a fancy affair I will definitely be hiring her to do my hair/make-up again! Everyone commented how gorgeous it looked and it really highlighted what an artist she is!
Moreover, we had some issues the morning of the wedding and Barbara and her team were very professional and accommodating with us. They took everything in stride and still made sure to get us done within our timeline without rushing! I can't recommend them enough.
Barbara did my hair and makeup for my wedding, in addition to my friend's makeup. From the trial to the day-of, she was really great to work with—talented, kind, and professional. ...
I've only had my makeup done professionally a few times and have never liked it as they're never able to match my darker skin tone without it being way too light or fake-looking, but Barbara did an amazing job!
The booking process was also very smooth. The manager Anna was incredibly responsive and made the whole thing super easy. My original HMU person flaked on me just 2 days before my trial and I'm honestly glad she did, because the Lemondy team was so great to work with. They quickly helped by matching me with Barbara and making sure she was also available for day-of. They were also really accommodating when I wanted to add on makeup for my friend, which I really appreciated. I'd definitely recommend them!
So much love for this company!!! Lemondy NYC was incredible to work with! They made me feel like my absolute best self on my wedding day. My hair is admittedly difficult to work wi...

start to finish. My wedding day hair and make up stayed perfect for literally 15 hours - no exaggeration. We even finished getting ready EARLY vs. late like many weddings I've stood up in. Can't say enough good things about this crew... they really are the best of the best

pictures, for another wedding I attended, and she will be doing my bridal hair and makeup along with my bridal party; she consistently does exactly what I ask for, while also providing helpful tips and suggestions to enhance your look. Alena works quickly, does a wonderful job with contouring and airbrush makeup, and her pricing is hard to beat. She is a truly sweet and honest person, who will go the extra mile to ensure her clients are pleased. I can't wait for Alena to do my hair and makeup for my wedding, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else but her!

utifully executed it turned out to be! I had the pleasure to work with Barbara and Nina for my wedding day. They both are amazing at what they do and you can tell are very passionate about making sure everything is perfect! I wish Barbara could do my makeup everyday! My eye shadow had just the right amount of sparkle (what they are known for) and it was definitely my favorite part of the whole look! I knew I made the right decision after my trial and everything looked absolutely beautiful! I did make a little change with my hair on the big day, but Nina did an amazing job and it looked even better then I could have imagined! Every single one of my bridesmaids looked amazing and they were all so happy with how their hair and makeup turned out. Based on the amount of ladies I had getting ready that morning they suggested to have a hair and makeup assistant. I am so glad I did this because it made the morning run so smoothly and you can just tell that they were helping out Barbara and Nina a bunch! It also was so hot on my wedding day and I can honestly say my makeup stayed on through all of the sweat & tears throughout the whole entire day! If you want to look absolutely stunning on your wedding day Lemondy Makeup & Hair Artistry is definitely worth every penny!!!

As for my hair even in the wind and by the end of the night it looked flawless! I would highly recommend Lemondy and her team for everyone’s wedding. My sister is actually going to use them as well for her wedding in 2020 as well. They are amazing!
