We relied on our coordinator, Jaden, to help us put together a timeline, manage the timing on the actual day, and to set up decor.  Things were okay until the timeline went out to our vendors. Unbeknownst to me, one of our vendors had responded to Jaden with concerns about the timeline. They never got a response from her. I only found out when I sent my own round of emails a few weeks out from the wedding to check in with everyone and make sure we were good to go. The vendor was clearly stressed and let us know that they wouldn't be able to render their services in the timeline as established, and we ended up hashing out a plan to make it work with them directly. I communicated all of this to Jaden, she apologized, we adjusted the timeline, and we moved on. Mistakes happen. I would've let it go. Unfortunately, on the day of, the time management became an issue. We had a very tight timeline that I knew we'd probably stray from during the morning, which I was fine with. What was extremely frustrating for us (and our wedding party and families) was that very little was communicated to them when that did inevitably happen. I had assumed a printed version of the timeline would be made available to everyone, and for things to be frequently communicated. Neither happened. I hardly saw Jaden or her assistant the whole morning and assumed they were making things happen, keeping folks on time and informed about any delays. As it turns out, nobody had any idea where she was most of the morning. The florist (a partner vendor of Leigh & Co.) was late - she should have built in more buffer time on the delivery - and it threw off the morning. Much of the timeline management fell to our photographer and my husband, who were both visibly stressed, which was exactly the sort of thing I had wanted to avoid in hiring a coordinator. We had larger decor (an arch, and giant paper flowers) that we were told they could not help with for safety reasons, so we had some family friends help set those up. I'm not sure if they or the coordinators set up the signage, but they were too low and should have been something a coordinator would have caught and corrected. The table decor was set up well, at least. I was unaware of most of this until after the wedding, when several people told me separately how frustrating their experience was with Jaden. They saw her assistant more than her. There were other small things that all just added up to a feeling that we might as well have not had a coordinator. It was disappointing and I ended up feeling like I could have saved a good chunk of money to just have myself and friends handle all of these things. I think we would've done a better job, to be honest. I think a lot of it boils down to the fact that I was a very prepared bride, and that is maybe not the norm. So it's possible that Jaden assumed *I* had prepared for a lot of these things. If I were a more hands off bride she might have approached it differently, I don't know, but at the end of the day I wouldn't recommend working with Leigh & Co. We hired who we could on a budget, and thought we were doing better by hiring a professional company over an individual off of a Facebook group. We were wrong.

Every detail came together perfectly, and everything ran so smoothly because of her. Thanks to Amber, Zach and I were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment of our wedding day without worrying about a thing. She went above and beyond, was incredibly organized, patient, and always one step ahead. We are so grateful for everything she did to make our day so special. We truly can’t recommend her enough to any couple getting married in the HTX area!

On the wedding day, she checked on me regularly, made sure everything was running smoothly, and handled all of the details behind the scenes so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Because of her, I was 100% stress-free and able to fully enjoy every moment of our day. Kaitlin’s assistant, Nicole, was equally wonderful. She was always available, ready to jump in wherever needed, and helped ensure everything stayed on track throughout the day. Together, they made an incredible team and gave us complete confidence that every detail was being taken care of. Kaitlin and Nicole went above and beyond to make our wedding seamless, and I cannot recommend them enough. If you’re looking for a team that is organized, caring, professional, and genuinely invested in making your day perfect, they are exactly who you want by your side. If you’re on the fence about a day of coordinator or planner…..it’s worth every penny!! I’d do it again and again!

ckage is the one recommended to us after our initial consultation which included a discussion of the venue.   We have had contact with two separate people and neither of them will be working with us the day of the event; we still have no idea who that person will be and the wedding is 5 weeks away.  There is no single point of contact until you have completed all of the legwork and completed all of their online questionnaires (which are extensive).  By the time they are completed, ChatGPT could format a perfect outline of events and put together what we need for the day of - I’m not really sure what Leigh & CO is doing other than offering to repackage the information we are providing them.   I have asked to speak to someone on more than one occasion and have given my phone number and have received polite emails in return explaining their process no matter how frustrating I have shared it to be.  Bottom line… look for wedding coordinators that are local and easy to contact.  Don’t try working with a national company that has outgrown the personal touch.  They will accept your non-refundable deposit and not give two hoots about your experience.  (I was offered to upgrade my package to enhance my experience! 😂) I say this as a recently widowed mother of the bride who is receiving more support from her network of amazing Christian friends…we made a huge mistake engaging Leigh & Co Events to assist in this special occasion.

Their attention to detail, organization, and calm presence were unmatched. I’m so grateful for everything Janie & Emily did to make our wedding day smooth, stress-free, and truly unforgettable.

Even though we weren’t able to do everything we had planned, all of the alternatives Alli and Jessica planned were just as magical and made our day with our guests so much more intimate. We had quite a large wedding party, and she was able to easily wrangle everyone at the rehearsal so everyone knew their spots. On the wedding day, Emily and Dallas handled everything. All the decorations were set up perfectly, and everything moved so smoothly. Emily and Dallas not only made sure we had everything we needed, but also our parents, which was so sweet. Emily and Dallas took the stress out of the day! We would highly recommend Leigh & Co!

visioned. She worked hard to set up table decorations and take them down. I had two aisle runners, because I wasn’t sure which one I wanted, and she knew how to layer them for a super neat look. Everyone told us how smooth the day went, and we told them it was all because of Hannah. Definitely would recommend this company overall, especially if you would like to have stress free wedding planning!

felt a bit chaotic at times during the wedding, and these were things that should’ve been handled and made smoother by the gals from Leigh&Co. All vendors were scheduled to arrive at the venue by 2 to begin setup, including Leigh&Co to help coordinate. By the time the bridal party arrived at 3:15/3:30 (wedding began at 4) - none of the reception space was fully set up. The ceremony space was also not complete. My sister had to be the one to notice that a toolbox was left at the front of the ceremony space just 2 minutes before the procession began, in addition to getting bouquets prepped/dried off, and helping direct guests how to enter the ceremony space. In my head, these all should’ve been things tackled by the Leigh&Co team. There were also small details that weren’t set up as we had discussed in planning meetings, or timeline things that were rearranged without being discussed with us and differed from the originally planned flow of the day. Of course, sometimes things come up where you have to pivot, but a bit more communication from the team on the day of would’ve been helpful. All in all, none of these things were a huge deal in the end as it did all come together eventually and was beautiful, however, in my opinion attention to all of the details is the difference between good and excellent coordination, and why I’m giving them 4 stars rather than 5.

Day of, it was so nice having her there directing decor set up, coordinating with vendors, maintaining our timeline, handling tear down at the end of the night, etc. as it allowed us to relax and enjoy our big day. needed an additional coordinator. Some people at the venue said I absolutely didn't, some said I might want one and that was OK. Most of the vendors said I absolutely did, and that seems to be the common cry on social media. But Brianne at Leigh & Co was very honest and said I don't need an additional coordinator. That kind of honesty in the face of losing a day of business was so refreshing. She said if I felt the venue wasn't giving me the support I need, I can always get back in touch and talk about hiring my own coordinator, and if it comes to that, I'm calling Leigh & Co.

She helped us think through and gave advice on the important details/little things that I would never have thought about. The day of ended up being a tropical storm, which resulted in some last minute changes with the venue, but we were amazed at how beautiful she was able to make the space, despite the rain! Not having to worry about setting up decor, the timeline, or vendor coordination was amazing and allowed us to relax and truly enjoy our day!!

O glad I did!!! I work in the hospitality industry, as a back story, so whoever we worked with had to deal with how particular I am with events in general. We got connected with Sophie from Leigh & Co and right off the bat, she was ON TOP OF IT!!! Sophie was not only helpful and supportive throughout each planning call but also just so easy to get along with while giving me the confidence that things would go as seamless as possible the day of. She was flexible and understanding with vendor timelines and ensuring we were all on the same page and the day of, she was keeping things moving, checking in on everyone and just making sure we (as the bride and groom) were having a great time! She also built our timeline for us and we were able to edit a google doc with feedback and notes as we got closer. Having her build our timeline based on our needs was huge for us (I’m a very type A bride). Janielle was very communicative and kind and easy to work with. On wedding day, she made sure that everything ran smoothly and ahead of schedule! She made sure our vision came to life and I totally trusted her and knew it would happen.
