I contacted Beth at LITU at a friend's recommendation. She was very nice and I signed a contract. A little while later there was something that forced Beth to have to assign anothe...
r coordinator to me. She offered to let me back out of the contract since I hadn't met this other coordinator, which I thought was nice. I talked with the new coordinator (also named Beth!) who was very nice. She helped me work out some things that I was stuck on at our 2 face to face meetings. She basically decorated my wedding, too (although there were only a few things to do). This allowed my bridesmaids to be with me and my mom and aunt to get themselves ready. Every time I turned around, she was only a glance away at the wedding to be sure I was having a good time and doing everything I wanted to do.
The only thing I would do differently is I should have hired her for more than day-of coordination. I'm not sure if I knew how to really use her to her fullest potential for day-of because I had done everything up to that point. I was very stressed the week prior to the wedding with silly things (escort cards DIY, Programs DIY, did I get enough cups for our beverage caterer, etc). Since I work full-time and only had a week off prior to the wedding (with Thanksgiving in there, too), I put too much stress on myself. I highly recommend getting a coordinator for your entire wedding planning if you work!
We decided to use leave it to us event planning mostly for the linens and chair covers however, through our planning it turned into more and more. We were pleased with the service ...
we received and would gladly use them again for an event.
The decorators are very creative, but I felt like I wasn't as important as other people who spend more money with them. I didn't spend much money for my decorations with them, and ...
our decorator was late on the day we set up. I felt like this was because I only spent about $80 to rent a few items.
Beth and Deb were fabulous. Beth was there with me and my groom every step of the way. She made sure that our wedding stayed true to what we wanted and that we stayed within budg...
et. She was easy to get in touch with, and was always available for meetings and phone conversations, no matter what the topic. On the day of the wedding, I was so relaxed because I knew that Beth and Deb would take care of everything, and they did! I can't imagine having planned our wedding without them! You can't beat thier service, especially for the price.
Denise and her team are committed to excellence. Great food and great customer service.
