About this vendor
HI I'M LEANNE! YOUR LAID BACK FINGER LAKES ITHACA NEW YORK WEDDING AND FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER
Chances are these people will never all be in the same room with you again.
Take that in
You want to make sure it’s captured the best and most honest way possible.
In a world of “ do it for the gram” Pinterest perfection I want your kids, your nieces and nephews, or even complete strangers to look at these images and see the crazy the real and the un planned. Who the people in the photographs really are. The belly laughs, the tears fogging up glasses, the slow quiet moments, the ones truly worth remembering.
I don't want your wedding photographs to be the most important part of your day. I want your connections experiences and your marriage to be that. I want photos to just be the icing on the cake. I strive to create work that shows what your day was truly like. Your personal time machine to look back on years later when your hair is grey and your faces are filled with wrinkles. Heirlooms to pass down long past our time on earth.
I hope your day is messy and filled with happy tears. I always encourage messy dresses and rolled up sleeves. Let's put away that shot list, and instead collaborate on being present instead of performing.
MY WORK IS GROUNDED IN THE BELIEF THAT
YOUR WEDDING DAY SHOULDN'T FEEL LIKE A PHOTOSHOOT.
I AM JUST HERE TO HELP GUIDE YOU INTO THE BEST LIGHT AND DOCUMENT AS LIFE UNFOLDS

Where do I start? Everything Leanne does is perfect. I recommend her to anyone that is looking for a photographer. She captures everything as it is and the moments you would have n...
ever seen. Her attention to detail is unmatched and she has an eye for the best lighting. She is the candid queen and will make sure to capture the best moments that you will cherish forever. Many of the moments she captured at my wedding were moments, I didn’t remember or ones I wasn’t around to see. Leanne shot my wedding as well as my 1-year anniversary. I would be lying if I said I didn’t want yearly sessions with Leanne. My wedding photos were extremely important to me. I had Leanne picked out as my wedding photographer years before I was even engaged, and I contacted her less than 48 hours after getting engaged to make sure she was available – before we even looked at venues. Although, I love photos, my husband and I are painfully awkward, but Leanne made us feel comfortable, she will assure you that you don’t look crazy and will hype you up the whole way through. She will be like the fly on the wall that you notice at times. I look at the photos Leanne has taken for me at least once a day and every time I notice something new.
I recently attended a wedding and both my husband and I commented on how Leanne was worlds better than the photographer that was used. The things my husband and I noted, the photographer didn’t provide any direction or adjustments – relied on the people being photographed to have all the ideas. They also weren’t prepared for candid moments, for example, a quick round of rock, paper, scissors among the wedding party was missed because the photographer was watching, not photographing. These are things you won’t have to worry about with Leanne, her camera is always ready, and she anticipates the moments before they happen, but also knows how to create authentic moments when necessary. Not only is working with her a dream, but her editing style is so natural. Leanne was also able to photoshop a picture of my sisters and I with my dad, something that we forgot to take at the wedding. I wish Leanne could permanently follow us around so all parts of our life could be beautifully documented. Leanne’s photos make even the most mundane moments, magical. She authentically captured our love for each other. It is such an honor to work with Leanne and I recommend her, without reservations, to everyone.
Leanne was a dream to work with for our wedding and rehearsal dinner. She managed to get the photojournalistic pictures we wanted and truly captured the love of all the events. She...
was also chill and easy to work with. Would highly recommend!
If I could give her 10 stars I would! For the past decade I have dreamt of working with Leanne and when I say it was worth the wait...I mean it! We booked her for an engagement sho...
ot, and were on a tight schedule. The date we set was rainy and windy(which was perfect for my vision) she was completely flexible and made sure we were comfortable shooting in that environment. Which to me was no problem at all because I had full faith in her abilities and she did not disappoint! With Leanne you truly get the full package, she's so professional, kind, honest, and absolutely talented. You really cant find a better photographer. She has everything going for her and I can't WAIT for her to shoot our wedding! If you're in between choosing a photographer, choose Leanne.
I have nothing but the absolute best to say about Leanne. Our wedding photos are beautiful, capture all of the moments we wanted, and she really took advantage of our landscapes an...
d scenery. You can tell she really tries to get to know the couple to get the best photos possible, and was very reliable from start to finish with communication. I highly recommend Leanne for your wedding photos! You won't regret it!!
It was an absolute pleasure to work with Leeanne, and I would recommend her without any hesitation. My husband and I had a small intimate wedding ceremony with our families in Marc...
h, and asked Leeanne if she was available to capture the day. As someone who was initially hesitant to hire a photographer, I am 1000% glad that we did and that we chose to work with Leeanne. Leeanne captured moments with our families and one another that we would not have been able to capture on our own and that we'll be able to cherish in the years to come. She helped us feel natural when we were taking the photographs and was flexible in terms of accommodating our schedule and the moments we wanted captured. If you're looking for a skilled photographer who makes you feel comfortable on your special day, is at ease with the flow of a wedding (or any other celebration), and who delivers fantastic photographs, look no further than Leeanne Rose Photography!

ared about most at our wedding. Her photos always turn out well lit, rich, and meaningful. We also worked with her on our engagement shoot and she was amazing for that too. By the end of our wedding we felt like she was a friend, that's how warm, helpful, and amazing she was. Definitely suggest you work with Leanne for all your photography needs!
This woman is amazing. She makes you feel extremely special on your day and makes it about you. She is on time and efficient and you end up with amazing pictures.
From the engagement to our wedding day, Leanne continued to impress me! I value the moments captured in pictures and Leanne has such a talent for knowing and finding those moments....
Quality of pictures are unbelievable and the turn around time is impressive! Highly recommend Leanne for any time of memories you want captured!
Leanne really did an incredible job. After feeling some initial skepticism of her being so new to the business, any doubt immediately vanished after looking at her sample work onli...
ne and meeting with her in person. She and her assistant worked very well together, asked for specific shots they knew would work, but were not intrusive or pushy. Additionally, she and her assistant were genuinely nice people that were fun to be around. Not to mention the unbelievable price we paid for 7.5 hours of work for 2 photographers- much more competitive than any other business in upstate NY. I will be calling Leanne for family portraits very soon and highly recommend her to anyone.
