The Historic Le Meridien Tampa, The Courthouse is a dream venue for any special occasion.
Le Méridien Tampa resides in a historic courthouse that features stunning architecture, marble hallways and original oak doors from when the building was established in 1905. Newly renovated in 2023, this century-old Historic Federal Courthouse has been transformed into a one-of-a-kind Tampa hotel located in the heart of downtown Tampa. Iconic Grand Ballroom has been repurposed as elegant event venue for receptions, dinners or weddings. Our boutique hotel’s 130 exquisite guest rooms and suites blend historic features with inviting comforts and state of the art technology to ensure memorable experiences in downtown Tampa. The hotel offers a diverse art collection as well as historic pieces throughout the entire property that adds character and charm to the venue, creating an inspiring atmosphere for you and your guests.
Our Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 130 guests and boasts stunning views, ample natural light with floor to ceiling windows, modern gold chandeliers and hand stenciled ceilings, a marbled foyer that sets the perfect backdrop for a memorable event.
Wedding Packages available and are the most inclusive! Wedding packages range from $139-$179 per person with rental based on guest count. We can customize as well so dont be afraid to state your vision and budget.
We also host wedding Rehearsal Dinners, Welcome Receptions, Discounted Rooms and Suites for Wedding Room Block with personalized wedding link and Farewell Brunches! Bridal Suites for Getting Ready rooms include living room, bedroom and large getting ready spaces with floor to ceiling windows.

Heather was exceptional from start to finish. From booking our tour to guiding us through the tasting, linen and chair selections, and every detail in between, she was organized, patient, and completely on top of everything. Her depth of knowledge was evident in every conversation — she confidently guided us through wedding-day questions and logistics in a way that made the entire process feel seamless and manageable.
On the wedding day, she worked effortlessly alongside our coordinator, Caroline. They were so seamlessly intertwined that everything flowed beautifully. Heather stayed until the very end of the night, ensuring every detail was handled and that we didn’t have to think about a single thing.
What meant so much to us personally was how she encouraged us to truly make the day ours — even incorporating our dog into the celebration. She embraced our vision and helped bring those personal touches to life in a way that made the day feel uniquely and authentically us.
Le Méridien was an incredible venue, and Heather was a huge part of what made our experience so extraordinary. We felt so special the entire time we were there, and we are beyond grateful.

taff the day of the wedding was wonderful, from valet, to catering, everyone made us and our guests feel welcomed and loved. The venue itself has so many naturally beautiful spots to take pictures at...there really isn't much decoration needed as the venue speaks for itself. We loved having everything all in one place (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and hotel rooms). Our day was amazing and ran so smooth thanks to all of the Le Meridien staff :)

as easygoing and professional from the start, and made us feel very welcome. Brigid was super patient with all our questions throughout the process and during the days just prior to our wedding, especially as we navigated COVID-19 and downsizing our event. Her and the event team worked so well with our day-of-coordinator! It was a dream venue and elevated our intimate wedding event. Even with a small guest list we felt like our day was everything we needed and the space helped make it feel bigger and more sophisticated. The photo opportunities are plentiful to get amazing shots with a lot of different backgrounds. All and all, my husband and I were very happy with this venue and we recommend it to all of our engaged friends. e saw it, but then once we met with Brigid, we just hoped there was a way we could have our wedding there and sure enough, Brigid made it happen!
She was so incredibly accommodating and worked with us through the entire process. From the first time we viewed the venue, up until the day after our wedding, Bridgid and her team were phenomenal! She answered every single question, a there were a LOT of them, explained all of our options and worked with us when things changed throughout. I always felt like she was genuine, and everyone had our best interests in mind; which is what you need when you’re planning a wedding. I heard horror stories and just kept thinking this was too good to be true, there’s no way a venue and staff could be THAT good to us; but they never faltered.
Brigid and the event staff made every dream that we had come true, every detail that we wanted they accommodated it, and most of all, made it stress free for us. We felt like we were the only wedding there and were always available for us.
When our wedding day came, May 25th, we were elated with the attention, catering team, and how everything was beyond what we imagined. Brigid even printed my vows out for me because my copy got lost in the mix of things!
Everything went off without any mistakes and all of the guests raved about how beautiful the venue was, they loved the chef attended stations and bartenders and just how overall nice and welcoming everyone was.
My husband and I can’t thank Brigid, the event and catering team, chefs and everyone involved enough for making our special day truly a dream come true. We have been back several times since to the Bizou bar for HH just so we can see everything and everyone again. We’ll never forget just how amazing our wedding was because of them.

case, the Courtroom Ballroom and the amazing marble and coffered ceiling, there is very little that you need to add for your reception decor. In addition, the Le Meridien photographs beautifully!
What we loved as well was Brigid and the staff who did an above & beyond job ensuring all aspects of our wedding went flawlessly.
When looking for a wedding venue it was important to make the planning easy and at the Le Meridien it is. It is one stop shop- you can have your ceremony, cocktail and reception all in one place and the price per plate includes cocktail hour, dinner & drinks. They can even coordinate getting different chairs at a better rate than if you did it yourself.
If I had to pick a venue all over again, I would easily select the Le Meridien again!

It was the perfect setting for our wedding, the bar and restaurant were intimate, but large enough to accommodate all of our guests, and the courthouse steps with grand columns made for the most beautiful ceremony backdrop. Brigid in Catering was a dream to work with, and the entire staff did an amazing job, not only servicing the wedding, but helping to keep our surprise wedding a secret! I would highly recommend using this unique venue for an event, and I look forward to working with them again.
