She designed, baked & delivered a beautiful 4 tier cake. Couldn’t be happier with the designing and planning process. Thank you for delivering & setting it up on time thru the rain...
!
The cake was delicious!! We did a three-tiered cake, each with a different flavor (red velvet, vanilla, lemon). It was so hard to choose which was the best because they were all so...
wonderful. Our guests said it was memorably good wedding cake, and selfishly we were pleased to have a bit of leftover cake to freeze for our anniversary :) Laura was a joy to work with and perfectly executed our vision.
EXCEPTIONAL!
Laura provided me with a beautiful and delicious wedding cake. She quickly mailed me out cake samples for tasting and included an extra piece. It was difficult to pic...
k which flavor we wanted because they were all delicious. We provided her with our general ideas and pictures of what we wanted and she exceeded our hopes. She was easy to communicate with, always responding quickly to all my emails.
We live in Bk and there are many bakeries, but we decided that all our future cake orders will be placed with her.
Thank you Laura, you truly were a pleasure to work with!
We planned our wedding in 3 months so you can imagine it was quite chaotic. But Laura was one of the easiest vendors I worked with. I appreciate her patience she had with me and ho...
w accommodating she was. Laura was super responsive and after I found her for my cake, I didn’t even have to worry about it again I was SURE I was in good hands and she did not disappoint!
AS FOR THE CAKE…EVERYONE LOVED THE CAKE! It was so good!
I have a lot of picky aunts and they all agreed that it was very tasty! Moist and just perfect. It wasn’t too sweet at all. I’m so glad I found her and I don’t know what I’m going to do when I’m done with my leftover slices.
Laura was awesome, my original venue canceled on me 3 weeks before my wedding date the place was to supply the cake. So, I quickly went online and started looking up wedding cake d...
esigners, which is when I came across Laura Cake Design. I emailed her and explained the situation and received an email back almost immediately. We discussed the price which I at the time thought was fair but to be honest, I think she undercharged me. A wedding cake is supposed to just be pretty right, most of the time you don’t eat the cake it is more for the show. NOT this cake it was freaking delicious!!! Now that we have hit underpriced and taste, Let’s talk about the most absolutely beautiful cake I have ever seen. It blew me away! It was made to perfection the sugar flowers, pearls the gold bands, the buttercream which can sometimes look messy was flawless. If you are still looking, Stop! Laura is amazing!!!
I just love our wedding cake made by Laura. Initially, I wasn’t really sure what type of wedding cake design I really wanted so I changed my mind several times. Finally, Laura deci...
ded to made her own sketch of our cake based on my vision, from the base of the cakes to the details and colors of the flowers. It turned out even more gorgeous than what I was expecting. The cake was delicious too. Laura has several flavors to choose from which i find a bit rare compared to other bakers I found.
On top of that, Laura also designed my father’s in law’s birthday cake. We gave it to him that same night (we got married on his birthday) and the cake is awesome! Laura made it exactly the way I wanted it to look like.
Overall, i’m happy with how our cakes turned out and would highly recommend Laura.
Laura made working with her very difficult and unsatisfying.
To elaborate, her customer service style was unprofessional and towards me she was inflexible during such uncertain t...
imes. My questions and concerns were repeatedly compared to the concerns of others, instead of tailoring the customer service experience according to my and my Fiancé’s needs. This interaction left a very negative impression, and discouraged me as a bride when searching for vendors. I now know and understand that thorough research is a must when choosing vendors for such a sacred event in order to maintain a positive, smooth flowing planning experience.
I don't know where to begin because there aren't enough wonderful adjectives to describe Laura and the absolutely beautiful wedding cake that she made for my daughter and new son ...
in law. Laura herself is very easy to communicate with and is so accommodating. Her talent at baking and the art of cake decorating are amazing. The price for the product she delivers is very reasonable. Do not hesitate to contact Laura's Cake design for your wedding or special occasion cake. Thanks again Laura!

and made the entire wedding cake “process” simple and worry-free. I initially had a hard time finding the right baker within my budget and one that was conveniently and ideally located in Staten Island, NY. When I came upon Laura’s website, I was instantly blown away by her gallery and wedding cake experience. Everything on her website and social media looked so elegant and amazing, so I knew I had to contact her right away. Laura was very responsive to my emails and texts and answered all my questions in a timely manner. She truly made my dream wedding cake a dream come true. Everything I ever envisioned for my wedding cake was staring right at me at the venue. I didn’t even want to cut it! From the beautiful handmade cascading flowers with diamond additions, to the amazing vanilla almond buttercream flavor, my husband and I truly cannot thank Laura enough. She made our wedding even more special. I highly highly recommend Laura for anybody who wants their dream cake come to life for whatever occasion it maybe. She will take your vision and ideas and incorporate them into the cake, and create wonderful memories for you to have forever.
Laura and her team could not have done a more perfect job. Firstly, my husband and I wanted to go a little non-traditional with a funfetti cake encased in rainbow sprinkles, plus a...
n almond-flour tier for my gluten-free diet. Laura delivered 100% and added our toppers exactly how we had envisioned. Not only did everyone stop to take a picture of the piece de resistance, it was also DELICIOUS. Almost everyone went back for seconds. It was the only food I had for most of the day and I'm so happy that was the one item I got to enjoy. Laura was always friendly and easy to work with. I have and will continue to recommend Laura to everyone looking for a baker. She killed it.
From start to finish, dealing with Laura was simply effortless. She is quick to answer questions and emails with patient and precise answers. The best thing of all- her masterpiece...
