Laning Photography

ling through their Instagram to decide that these were the people we wanted to capture our big day. I have never seen more beautiful images in my entire life. We had the pleasure of working with them for our engagement shoot, and honestly, my now husband and I walked into it very nervous and uncomfortable to be in front of the camera. We truly had no idea what to expect since neither of us had had professional photos taken before. I can genuinely say that we both left feeling like the best versions of ourselves that evening. Yes, these two are insanely talented photographers, but they are more than that. They have the ability to make you get out of your comfort zone, all while making you feel in your element at the same time. It’s true witchcraft. Hannah is one of the kindest humans I have had the pleasure of meeting. She brings with her a sense of calmness that allows to you loosen up and have so much fun in the moment. Nick, is a force! We were enamored with his professionalism and his overall coolness. He truly sees the beauty in everything and is somehow able to extract that beauty in every photograph. When we got back our engagement photos we were shocked with how stunning they were. We know our wedding photos will be just as extraordinary. We feel so honored to be able to work with them during the some of happiest moments in our lives and we hope to continue to have them document the joyous moments in our future.

otographer who could guide us on angles, how to pose, etc. Laning Photography went above and beyond what I could have imagined!! First off, Hannah is such a warm and kind soul. She truly listened to me and what I was envisioning and made sure it happened. I could not believe how responsive she was via email, even during the craziest wedding season yet with COVID postponed weddings. She even gave me advice on what to wear for our engagement photo session! And not only that, she gave me the coat off of her back... LITERALLY. We changed outfits for a downtown Dallas shoot, and it was extremely windy. She took off her peacoat and told me to wear it and the pictures looked EPIC! They ended up being our favorite pictures! That's how much she cares. And Nick is such a fun, creative person. He had us laughing the entire time. His creativity and really cool ideas gave our albums the mood and vibe we were looking for. For people who don't feel like we are photogenic, he made us look like we knew exactly how to pose, smile, etc.! He really captured a lot of candid, intimate moments between me and my fiance too, and these pictures are something we will cherish for a lifetime. If you are looking for 2 photographers who will keep you from worrying about a single thing while making you look incredible, these two are it! They seriously set THE standard for the album of your dreams. UPDATE: we had our wedding and these two were PERFECT once again! They made us feel so comfortable and helped us get pictures that I will cherish for a lifetime. When I saw our sneak peak, I started crying. I really struggle with body image issues and having my picture taken. I felt so beautiful and felt like they captured all of the emotions we were feeling that day! They seriously helped make my wedding pictures look like they came out of a magazine. They were some of the kindest and warmest souls we have ever met, and Nick had us laughing the entire day!! Nick and Hannah, thank you for making me feel like the most beautiful bride and for capturing all of these precious moments.

wedding and each time they went above and beyond (e.g., helping us pick out our outfits, scoping out photography locations in Rome and Dallas, doing my makeup - because I'm clueless, making sure we looked good in our photos by adjusting our posture/clothes, etc.). It was so easy to just trust them because we knew our photos were going to turn out amazing. Each time the photos were released, our friends and family would rave about them. By the time our wedding came around it felt like we were old friends and it definitely was one less thing we had to worry about. We found the Lanings through the Brides of North Texas magazine and fell in love with their photos. It was also clear through their multiple Instagram accounts that they loved photography and put a lot of effort and love into each photo. If you are even considering booking the Lanings, don't hesitate!

and made our wedding a ton of fun. I have yet to see any proofs from that day but have no doubt they will be amazing!

ckly looked them up on social media and was blown away by the talent. The photographs were so pure and you could just feel the emotion in them. My husband and I met with them and instantly knew they were it! Not only is their talent unreal but they are the most incredible genuine people. We felt like we had known them for years. Before we took our engagement shoots Hannah even helped us pick outfits that would photograph well which was so amazing. They make you feel so comfortable, because let's be honest those cheesy love photos can be a bit weird to take. They made us laugh the entire time and directed us on where to put our arms or our chins to get the best angles. I mean these are once in a lifetime photos and they truly understand the importance of telling your love story through the pictures. If you're lucky Nick may even bust out a song or two during the shoot. We had a first look before our wedding and when I look back on the photos I am right back in that exact moment with all of the emotions. I still can't believe how amazingly beautiful our photos turned out and we are forever grateful to have found Nick and Hannah. I can't wait for the next chapter in our lives so Nick and Hannah can be right there to capture the magic all over again.

m feel comfortable and at ease. They were discreet when they needed to be but in the middle of the fun when they needed to get those really special "action" shots at the reception. We were blessed to have them capture this most special day.

; they set the bar high and you will NOT be disappointed if you hire them. They are so fun to work with; we enjoyed working with both of them so much! They bring their personalities into their work and are famous for capturing the moments brides and grooms want, but also moments that would likely go unnoticed by other photographers. Hands down, we'll hire them again any opportunity we get!

wedding some day became a reality. Nicholas captured moments behind the scenes, candid shots and even the emotion behind the planned pictures. He is very professional, personable and made the whole experience enjoyable. Nicholas definitely knew what he was doing. He encapsulated the style we were after, but also showed his creative flair by producing photos beyond our imagination that we love. The location, our guests, the lighting and our love were all beautifully captured. He is undoubtedly worth every penny. We couldn't be more pleased with the photos that we now treasure for the rest of our lives! Thanks again Nicholas!

red our personalities in his work. During wedding planning I was sad I couldn't do videography due to our budget but after seeing all the moments he captured I was so glad I didn't do it.

ook such good care of all of us. He did my engagements, my bridals, and my wedding. He was always there when we needed him for special photos and I would use him again in a heartbeat. Do yourself a favor, take the stress out of everything, and book Laning Photography.
