I came to Annette after so many wedding coordinators canceled on me with a month left to make sure everything was ready for my wedding. If you want someone that goes above and beyo...
nd for your wedding day than Annette is your girl! she took my vision and made it happen. Annette helped organize and run rehearsal dinner, Printed out my last minute vow changes the morning of my wedding, made sure everything was running on schedule, found out we were missing a bunch of alcohol that was ordered for the wedding and handled it like a boss (and so much more!). I had no idea that anything had gone wrong until later that evening when my father in-law told me. It was amazing to work with her and can't wait to work with her again for my sisters weddings.
Considered letting it go and not writing this review, but almost 4 months later and it's still bothering me. I can't believe I wasted this money - I could kick myself in my own bu...
tt!
The planner did not help really "plan" anything. I picked all of the vendors after finding them myself. Days before the wedding, I still didn't have my day of timeline. I had to ask for it myself, twice!! I was so frustrated as many of wedding party members had kids, and needed to make arrangements pending the timeline.
Next, I had filled out a form for the planner of the whole ceremony plan (who walked with who, who was speaking, etc.) and emailed it to her in advance. Apparently she didn't read my email, and had me fill it out AGAIN at our REHEARSAL DINNER. I was stressed, trying to enjoy the dinner, and I'm wasting time writing down everything for her again.
Also, we had a family friend making our wedding cake. The planner reached out to her the day BEFORE the wedding to see if she was making the cake. Are you kidding?! What would have happened if she wasn't???
The day of was a mess. She seemed annoyed with picking up my decor and taking it to the venue (which I shouldn't have even had to ask with how much money this cost.) When I arrived at the venue, none of our ceremony chairs were set up, the caterer was an hour late, and nothing was taken care of. I literally had guests walking in on me and seeing me in my dress before the ceremony!!!
To top it all off, my husband and I were starving at the end of the night and got NONE of the leftovers. I have no idea who took them, but this should have been arranged by the planner.
All in all, the service of LadyHawk events was a complete disappointment. My wedding day should have been something that I looked back on and loved, however I hate reliving it even by writing this review. My hope is that another bride doesn't have to go through this, and not even want to look back at their special day.
They come no better than Annette. She will work hard to help you find all your vendors with the best service at the best cost also. Create a timeline for day of event so everyone k...
nows where to be when. Take the time to meet everyone in your party so they know to come to her for any concerns. Have your venue ready & looking top notch before you arrive. Stay with you all thru your event to make sure all is taken care of as you exactly want it. Handle everything even days after to make sure we have no issues arise. The best money spent on our event was for Ladyhawk Events. Annette takes all worries away plus creates friendships while working her magic. Wish we could give her 10 stars because she deserves it
Annette really did make our day as flawless as imaginable. Everything was absolutely perfect and we could not have done it without her and her team. From keeping us on budget, to d...
