Don't even bother looking anywhere else because this is the one you want!!!!!! We had the wedding of our absolute DREAMS at Lacuna. The space itself is absolutely ICONIC and incredible, our sunset ceremony on the Skydeck was something out of a movie! The Reverie Room, where we had our reception, also has such a fun, eclectic vibe - the perfect mix of industrial chic and romantic charm. It was exactly what we were looking for. We got an INSANE amount of compliments on everything - the space, the service, the vibes, and the food. Speaking of the food... you guys. The food is SO. GOOD. This is not your average wedding food! There were so many options, and we got to try a crazy amount of items at our menu tasting to help us select our courses. It was actually still pretty hard because there are truly no bad choices!!! A guest actually told us at our wedding that the mashed potatoes were the best he has ever had in his life. AND, they had so many gluten free and vegetarian options! But what truly made our experience at Lacuna so perfect was Tania and her staff. The service on our wedding day was fantastic. Tania is an incredible venue director - she made us feel seen, prioritized, and cared for every step of the way. We felt like absolute royalty at our tasting and just could not believe how wonderful everything was. Tania was always ready to answer questions we had or help us figure out any issues, and helped us stay on track without ever adding any stress or pressure. She also expertly handled my bossy mom, lol. This woman is truly a saint!!! We cannot imagine going through our wedding process without her. Whatever she makes, she deserves a raise!! All in all, we are SO happy we chose Lacuna as our wedding venue and it will always be such a special place to us. It was everything we hoped it would be, and more. I cannot even tell you how many people came up to us and said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Book it!!!! You will not be disappointed.

We had multiple guests come up to us throughout the night asking, “How did you find this venue?!” The views are gorgeous, the space is stunning and so unique, and the FOOD!! Incredible, with so many amazing options! We loved every second of our wedding night, but we also loved every step of the process working with the Lacuna team. They made the entire experience so wonderful! A special shoutout to Tania! She is so sweet, organized, and FUN! Exactly the kind of energy you want throughout the wedding planning process. La Galleria The fifth floor La Galleria offers private access to the SkyDeck and includes a custom bar area, dimmable bistro lighting and large picture windows with views of the Chicago skyline. The Reverie Gallery Indoors, Lacuna offers two separate events spaces perfect for any celebration. The first floor Reverie Gallery, featuring a salvaged shipping container bar, hand crafted cedar bench seating and abundant eclectic charm, can accommodate up to 350 for a seated reception. Magik Street The newly renovated Magik Street, located on the first floor, is the ideal space to gather for cocktails in the colder months. The space includes a restaurant style show kitchen, custom bar and a landscaped deck with gas fire pits. Established in 1897, Lacuna's expansive 250,000 square-foot property was once the world’s largest macaroni factory. The space has since been expertly restored and offers couples an ideal location to celebrate their union in style. We received so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the ceremony space and views were. The venue was also incredibly spacious and functional throughout the day. The bridal suite was a wonderful space for me and my friends to hang out before the ceremony, while my husband and his friends, along with guests who arrived early, had plenty of room to relax downstairs in Majik Street. The food was another highlight — we received so many compliments from our guests about how delicious everything was. Ximena was also wonderful to work with throughout the planning process. She was helpful, accommodating, and made the experience so much easier. thing was such a great experience. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. Our guests were blown away by our rooftop ceremony overlooking the Chicago skyline, and it was honestly one of my favorite parts of the day. The cocktail hour was amazing, and all of the hors d’oeuvres were so good. The food at the reception was definitely one of the biggest highlights. We had so many guests tell us that it was one of the best wedding meals they’ve ever had and that the food was truly top-notch. Everything was delicious, served at the right temperature, and we genuinely had no complaints. We also chose the ballpark food for our late-night snacks, and it was AMAZING. It was such a fun touch, and our guests absolutely loved it. The dessert table was also incredible, and our cake was not only beautiful but tasted amazing too. I also have to give a huge shoutout to Tania. She was wonderful throughout the entire planning process. She was always there to answer my questions, address any concerns, and make sure we felt like we were in good hands. lended 2 cultures - Mexican and American - and had a lot of out of town guests. The expansive skyline view wowed everyone. It truly makes you feel like you're IN the sky scrapers. We saw SO many venues and there were none that even compared to Lacuna. We did get handed off a few times, but every time the new person we were working with did so with grace. Tania worked hard to make sure our menu was set the way we wanted and that we didn't need to spend a ton of extra money. She helped us book the bar through them, which took the headache out of having to book ONE MORE THING (those planning.... iykyk). [If you go this route and have seltzer drinkers, I might suggest ordering more than you think, because we did run out of seltzers and that's all my husband and I like to drink. Totally okay and the party still went on, but just a small note :)] Day of she was there to make sure that everything went off without a hitch, hyped me and my husband up, and then even followed up with us after the wedding to shower us with compliments and make sure everything went smoohtly. TBH I'm going to miss chatting with her weekly! LOL We truly felt like royalty and were taken care of and waited on hand and foot. Our guests have not stopped talking about the food. THE FOOOOOOOD - my goodness. It's incredible. I can't stop recommending the salmon and hangar steak (and I don't even eat fish). We chose the Chicago staples as our late night snacks, and truly people haven't stopped talking to us about how good they were. It was such a special touch. The servers were all so professional, quick, and amazing. A special shoutout to the person who mopped the floor all night because of drinks spilling. I can't praise the team enough. Another thing our guests cannot stop talking about is the service that was received. That feels special on such a big day. Our vision truly couldn't have come together more perfectly and we'll be dreaming about this day forever.

unicative people. We had our wedding in October 2025, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience through the entire process. Working with Tania was a breeze; and her knowledge and passion for how to wed (sorry) the beautiful venue, with all of its color and character, to our vision helped make the day feel special, personal, and easy. Every question and request was promptly answered (and I may have asked some dumb ones). She had excellent vendor recommendations and management and she was right there with us, from the first tour and the booking process to the menu tasting and wedding itself. And I mean, have you been inside? Did you see the rooftop view of the skyline? The high ceilings, eclectic and colorful art and signs, and the warm open spaces felt like a sandbox to play in as we envisioned our day. Lots of friends' profile pictures changed that week, and our photos are gorgeous. You will struggle with menu selection, as they have an embarrassment of riches to choose from; we did the steak, chicken, and carrot quinoa cakes (condolences to the salmon) and spent many hours on the couch whittling down our final choices for appetizers and desserts and ended with late night pizza. All great. Truly, I took the time to write all this because of how grateful we are to the Lacuna team (especially Tania!) and how special and perfect they helped make our wedding; and I want that for you, too. Highest recommendation.

I can say this specifically about Tania who probably had a million things going on but always made it feel like I was the only person on her radar. She was professional, SO easy to work with, a wealth of knowledge and advice and I could tell she genuinely had myself and the weddings best interest at top of mind with every interaction. The day of staff were lovely and the food is AMAZING. It has been a month since our wedding and we are still getting compliments on it - and a close friend of mine even booked this space for her 2026 wedding. Choosing this venue was the easiest decision in my whole wedding planning experience. I have endless praise and applause for this venue and all of the people who help propel it from a cool and artsy space to an unforgettable experience.

room was both spacious and beautiful. We had about 250 people for the ceremony on the rooftop and reception in Reverie and it didn't feel the least bit crowded. The sunset skyline was a perfect backdrop for our ceremony. Ximena put us in touch with a day of coordinator named Shannon Laws, and the two of them made our lives so much easier in the weeks leading up to the big day. If I could leave 6 stars, I would.

our ceremony and cocktail hour on the Skydeck, and the reception was held in La Galleria. The Skydeck views are absolutely spectacular; our ceremony video looks heavenly, and the photos with the city skyline are stunning. It was also incredibly convenient to move straight indoors for the reception by just taking a few steps. The food was not your standard wedding food. It was luxurious restaurant quality: delicious and beautifully presented. Service was excellent, and we were very happy with the bar package. Planning was a breeze thanks to our venue contact, Tania. She made everything easy and is a fantastic people person.

o area. Our experience working with Lacuna Events by LM was fantastic. The events team were prompt and professional in all communications. There were extremely accommodating; they agreed to let us view the venue three times prior to signing a contract, and they worked with us on several special requests for the wedding day. Additionally, they were communicative and clear about requests that they would not be able to accommodate, so we never felt "led on." This is so important! The venue was gorgeous. We got very lucky with the weather on our wedding day, but the rooftop is beautiful regardless of the weather. Our wedding was approx. 200 people. The larger room at Lacuna Lofts was able to accommodate our guests and allowed some extra room for people to spread out. The food was great. Our tasting experience was very fun (don't eat before - they let you try a lot of food). One thing we really liked is that the plates, etc. at the venue were a unique porcelain. So beautiful. Our point of contact at Lacuna Events by LM was Tania. Tania was professional and enthusiastic about making our wedding day exactly what we wanted it to be. The building can be a little confusing to access on your own, but on the wedding day, all of the entrances were manned to help our guests. We knew it was the one when we saw the rooftop. I wanted to have a place that had the option for a rooftop, of course weather dependent, and we got very lucky that the weather was perfect. They of course have a backup plan for inclement weather. Our reception was in the “La Galeria” space, which is the smaller room. It had an intimate, cozy vibe that made everything feel warm and connected. Many guests raved about the food--when we did our mingling, lots of our guests had entirely clean plates! We also can’t say enough good things about our venue coordinator, Tania. She was incredibly helpful, responsive, and real throughout the entire planning process. She gave us solid, honest advice when we needed it most and always made us feel supported and in good hands. Her calm, grounded energy made a huge difference and helped everything run smoothly. We’re so happy we chose this venue. It was the perfect backdrop for our day and helped create memories we’ll cherish forever.

On the day of, the entire staff make it happen on schedule without a single problem. The venue itself is beautiful and looked amazing the day of. It is very easy for guests to arrive to and navigate once they are there. The food is through the venue and it's delicious--you can tell it's cooked on site the day of the wedding. Lastly, I want to mention the value of the place. I was shocked at the the price we were charged for the quality of the venue compared to other wedding venues in Chicago. Absolute top notch venue with food, coordination and day of logistics and they charge a lot less than some other venues we looked at that I considered to be in the same category. hrough to the end we were understandably concerned, but then we met Emily and all of our fears were swept away. We could not have been more pleased with the time and attention Emily gave to us to help us turn our wedding dreams into a reality! The entire staff went above and beyond every step of the way leading up to the big day. The day of the wedding was quite hectic because of the weather, but the staff at Lacuna did everything they could to ensure we were able to have our rooftop ceremony as planned. I think the staff took down, set up and wiped off the chairs at least 4 times because of the rain. I wish I could have seen our guests faces once they stepped onto the rooftop and took in the stunning views for the first time. Not only are the views breathtaking, but you also have artwork all over the venue that is mesmerizing. The food, drinks and service were top notch and we were so sad to see the night end. It’s been almost a year since we had our wedding at Lacuna and we are consistently getting positive feedback from our guests and people who saw our photos from the wedding. We have recommended Lacuna to many couples and have our guests share that they also have recommended the venue to others as well. If I could do it all again, I would choose Lacuna Lofts 100% of the time! Many thanks to everyone at Lacuna who made our wedding absolutely the wedding of our dreams!

We saw about 15 venues across Chicago in different neighborhoods - Lacuna Lofts was our last site tour. As soon as I walked in, met Tania and saw the space, I knew this was the perfect place for us to say I do! Tania made the entire process from walking through the door on that first site visit, to picking up a few last things after our big day absolutely flawless, personal, organized and so much fun. Tania and her team left no detail overlooked and made us feel so special throughout the entire process - she is truly a master at her craft. On top of that, the venue itself is absolutely amazing and one of a kind. From breathtaking rooftop views of an unobstructed city skyline, to a choice from a fun/funky or romantic/rustic reception space and murals throughout the building that are perfect for photos of any aesthetic. As if it couldn't get better, the food was also amazing! Obviously, with Nico being a chef, we had a lot of industry people on our guest list, and got so many compliments about the food and service. We could not be more grateful to Tania and the entire Lacuna Lofts and LM Catering team for making our day and the entire process an absolute dream. I loved that we were able to bring things over to the venue the day before the wedding. Our guests talked non stop about how good the food was (LM Catering owns the venue, which made selecting food SO easy), and the BYOB option saved us thousands compared to other bar packages we looked at around the city. We brought our maid of honor and best man to our wedding tasting and had an absolute blast with Emily! Despite the 90+ degree heat on our wedding day, we had our ceremony outside with incredible views of the skyline. I’ll cherish those photos forever! Emily reached out about the heat the week of and we ultimately decided to have cocktail hour downstairs in the “Magik Street” room. I’m so grateful we decided to do this! Our guests stayed cool and also got to check out the amazing bar and indoor/outdoor space separated by a garage door which still allowed that outdoor feel. Our reception was held in La Galleria which was STUNNING and our guests loved the windows with views of the city all around the room. It was the perfect size for 140 guests and helped create the intimate feel we wanted. The string lights are perfect with the industrial/brick vibe and looked great in the photos. We got so many compliments throughout the night on all things venue and food! I can’t recommend Lacuna enough!!
