Literally cannot say enough wonderful things about Courtney. Above all else, she is one of the kindest, sweetest people we have ever met, much less had the pleasure of working with...
. On top of her naturally caring demeanor, her commitment to organization was clear during our very first conversation, when she was kind enough to take us on as clients just 6 months before the wedding after we parted ways with our previous planner. We were planning a huge wedding (expecting a turnout of ~300 people with a firm budget cap), so it was no small task to take on. I was incredibly stressed at the time trying to finish my PhD dissertation before the wedding, but then Courtney made planning easy. She kept us on a steady meeting schedule, was transparent about/mindful of the budget every step of the way, and her communication was outstanding whenever we had questions.
On top of all that, she and her team somehow also managed to plan both a gorgeous intimate rehearsal dinner and an epic disco-themed welcome party hosted by my in-laws (our guests are still raving about it).
I'll also add that I wasn't a particularly picky bride about a lot of things (party planning is not my strong suit), which has its pros and cons. But Courtney handled that beautifully and helped guide me whenever I was unsure without making me feel pressured into a decision (down to seconds before walking down the aisle, when I couldn’t decide whether I should wear the blusher on my veil lol).
The wedding turned out wonderfully (on top of everything being gorgeous, everyone had SO much fun at the reception), and she or someone from her team was present to guide us if needed literally every second of the day. She made such an impression that my dad dedicated time to giving her a heartfelt shoutout in his wedding speech.
So if you're looking for a planner who is as lovely a human being as she is hard-working and organized, look no further!!
Courtney was absolutely essential to our wedding day. She was so thorough in the times leading up to the wedding and made sure everything went perfectly on the day of. Our day was ...

ss stressful. I found wedding planning to be incredibly overwhelming but she made it so much easier by keeping me on track and taking so much off my plate. She not only executed my vision perfectly on the day of but ensured I was calm and stress free throughout the entire day. Hiring this team was the best decision we made for our wedding!
We used La Belle Vie (Courtney Bell) for our daughter's wedding in in Auburn, Alabama and the reception in Opelika, Alabama. Ms. Bell worked both efficiently and effectively with ...
both the church and reception venue. She has a wealth of experience and knowledge about ceremonies and receptions. She designed the venue floor layout to maximize use of space. She created a timeline which ensured all events occurred in a timely manner in accordance with the bride & groom's wishes. This was our first family wedding and we had not one clue what we were doing. With Ms. Bell's help - it went off without a hitch. To make it a bit more challenging, our family was out of country and unreachable for 17 days shortly before the wedding. We didn't return home until 10 days before the wedding. We left town without worry, confident Ms. Bell would handle any issue that arose in our absence. And she did. Last but certainly, not the least, Ms. Bell is a delight to work with. Her joy in her work is infectious. We have two more daughters. When they decide to get married - Ms. Bell will be the first phone call we make!

o be at such ease leading up to and on the day of the wedding. She listens to your wants/needs and guides you through the whole process and keeps you on track. On the wedding day, Courtney and a La Belle Vie assistant handled everything and allowed me to relax and enjoy every part of the day. Could not recommend Courtney and La Belle Vie enough!

stened to each and every request and made my dream wedding come to life!! She offered her expertise and was so knowledgable in each and every aspect of the planning, but she also valued my opinion throughout the process and allowed me to have the creative freedom while guiding me in the right direction / making suggestions based on all of her experience. This team is exactly what I was looking for in a wedding planner and I could go on-and-on about how great they were!! Highly recommend using La Belle Vie for all your wedding planning needs.
If you are torn about where to spend your money, spend it on a good wedding planner. It is 100% worth it. And that good wedding planner is Courtney Bell with La Belle Vie. She too...
k away all the stress and handled everything in a professional yet friendly way. She makes you feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole process. She accommodates based on your wants/needs and provides you with as much or as little information as you want. She is very knowledgeable in the area of venues and all things wedding. But most importantly, on the big day, I trusted her to make it all happen. On our wedding day, I never once got stressed or had to do anything. I was able to relax and thoroughly take in the moments and enjoy the day with my people. Hopefully I won’t ever need her to plan a wedding for me again….😜 but if I did, I would 100% hire Courtney.

ndled more details than I could have ever imagined and made the planning process so easy for me. ring the wedding was unmatched. I had an outside wedding and a pop up storm was headed our way, and I truly had no idea. She maintained such professionalism and handled everything before I even had a chance to realize what was going on. Courtney was so outgoing, friendly, and EXTREMELY helpful throughout the whole wedding process. I would hire her again and again!

ith her and her team made wedding planning much less stressful than it would've been otherwise, and by the end of the process I not only felt completely thrilled with how my husband and mine's day turned out, but that I had gained a friend! I could wax poetic (and will later in this review) about La Belle Vie's work, but here are a couple of reasons to hire Courtney that I think specifically make her wedding planning service The One to book:
-- Courtney's vendor network. Every vendor we used the day of went above and beyond what we hoped for, and made our wedding day that much more special. She presented us with a variety of options for every step: florals, photography, paper, etc., and always offered her honest opinion on each vendor's prices and products. She also coordinated with some vendors she hadn't previously worked with for our wedding, and had clearly done her research ahead of time regarding these "new to her" players.
-- Courtney's design eye. I wanted our wedding day to pay tribute to my cultural heritage (Puerto Rico and New Orleans, specifically) and after giving Courtney some specific aesthetic ideas she and our vendors delivered a creative vision beyond any of my wildest dreams. I was blown away, genuinely.
Thank you Courtney and the rest of your team for a perfect wedding day!!

Courtney met with us once a month and kept us focused on the items we needed to accomplish…. As well as let us know what she
and her staff were working on for us.
Her resources are incredible!
The wedding invitations and calligraphy were so much more than we had anticipated…
Absolutely stunning and our guests said so too!
The day of the wedding was perfect and organized. I felt so good about the whole experience with La Belle Vie.
I would highly recommend her for the best experience on your most important day ever!

Literally the BEST money I spent for my wedding HANDS DOWN. My mother and I will sing Courtney’s praises forever. She was so organized and had everything handled perfectly. I would...
not have been as calm and at peace if it weren’t for her. I’ll be honest and say I was very hesitant to hire a coordinator because I felt like I had everything handled (I coordinated weddings for years) but once I hired her, it was truly the best money I spent on the wedding day. Could not recommend Courtney and her team enough!!

h meeting ran efficiently, and Courtney did so well keeping track of all of my vendors/contracts/etc. (we had SO many vendors, so she truly did a great job keeping them all organized). Courtney and I worked well with each other, our personalities meshing with one another. Courtney is sweet, but can help make hard decisions because of her expertise. She knows the Birmingham area well, and can give her honest opinion about vendors in the area.
Courtney did a great job managing all of our wedding party, including family members and family friends. We had twists and turns with COVID, but were able to have our wedding day as we imagined it to be. Courtney and Ruthie handled everything so beautifully, and took all the stress out of the day for me (leading up to the day too). We had two different venues, one for the ceremony and one for the reception place, and Courtney helped plan the transition from each place go flawlessly.
I would also note how affordable Courtney is, for the day-of coordinating. I looked at so many Birmingham coordinators, and they were unreasonably, priced over $5,000 for only 1 day (plus the rehearsal time). I would HIGHLY recommend La Belle Vie!

at I wanted my wedding day and many of the details to be like – and that called for some serious brainstorming and planning! Courtney was up for the challenge and worked with me throughout the whole process to find the right vendors and get everything in order. I know there are phone calls she made and errands she ran that I still don’t know about to this day – and I am forever grateful for her help in pulling off such a joyful event. The day of my wedding she ensured that I was able to be 100% present and in-the-moment because she had a handle on everything else. I would recommend Courtney to any bride who is looking for an incredibly kind, dedicated planner and someone you can trust with your big day!

vailable via text, super organized, and would go to vendor meetings with me if my fiancé or mom couldn’t come (because who wants to go to a cake tasting alone!?). Speaking of vendors, Courtney has worked with the best of them and had the best recommendations for us. We ended up with an all star lineup of vendors. The day of the wedding was absolutely perfect. Courtney made my reception vision come to life, it was everything I hoped for and more. Last but not least, her pricing is extremely competitive, and it was worth every single penny. Courtney is kind, personable, organized, and hilarious - I would recommend her to all of my family and friends without hesitation!

-Coordination". She was also available for planning tips, resources, vendor options during the initial months. The final month has its stresses but she addressed the areas I had concerns about and then took over all contact with wedding vendors, coordination, schedules, and timelines. The wedding rehearsal and day-of-coordination were seamless! My family and I appreciated her eye for detail, time management, people/family coordination, and endearing personality! She's professional, timely, poised, and efficient yet relaxed during stressful moments. Not to mention she makes you feel so special on your big day! Having her allowed me to focus on preparing spiritually, mentally, and emotionally for my marriage. Thank you, Courtney!
