The art of delivering tender, genuine photos is a photographer who understands exactly what means the most to you and stops time in that moment. It looks different for every couple! Soak up the day knowing that your wedding album will be filled with photos that capture your love, exactly as it is.
With over 100 weddings of experience, I have a sixth sense for anticipating key moments and interactions during the day for natural, emotional images that bring you right back into the moment. You won’t have to worry about looking stiff or cheesy - during portraits, I prompt and direct so that everyone feels comfortable and looks like the best version of themselves.
A sentimentalist at heart, I capture whimsical images with bold color through a playful experience designed to let your personality, connection, and emotions take center stage. You'll have fun with me, and yours guests will too! Through questionnaires and our timeline planning session, I get the inside scoop on your relationship dynamic and wedding day vision. Combined with step-by-step planning resources on my exclusive client website, you'll spend the day focused on feeling at home with your person instead of dreading the camera.

Absolutely loved having Kyra as our photographer! She was on time to our venue, which was a ship so being punctual was important. She also insured that we got all the key shots th...
at we wanted. She made me feel comfortable and at ease when taking pictures knowing that crowds aren’t my thing and she cut some of the most beautiful moments between my husband and I. We just got our intimate gallery in and honestly are so excited to get the full gallery. Kyra’s professionalism and sweet personality are something you’ll definitely want for your wedding day!
We hired Kyra (Honeycomb Photography) for our wedding at the Market at Grelen, and couldn't be more happy with our choice. Kyra was professional, positive, and upbeat in all of our...
interactions with her. We were drawn to her photography by her excellent execution of black and white as well as color photos. Her questionnaires and emails made sure that she understood the photos and moments that were important to us, and we really feel like she met and surpassed all of ours needs and expectations. She was a huge part of what made our special day perfect, and we are so grateful.
Kyra was very professional and accommodating to all the changes we had to make to our wedding due to COVID-19. Our pictures turned out amazing, and I would recommend her to anyone!...
!! She is so great!!!
Kyra did my graduation photos from my Masters program in 2017, and it was at that moment, I knew I had found the perfect photographer for my someday wedding. That wedding happened ...
this November, and she blew my expectations out of the water. We did our engagement session with her in March and was just a joy to work with, making us laugh the entire time, listening to what poses/areas we wanted pictures of, and just being great overall. She is quick to respond to messages, and always answered any questions I had. Fast forward to our wedding, and she was prompt, in control of timing, and always made me feel in the loop and aware of what was coming up. She got all the pictures I asked that she capture, as well as so many more. The delivery of our photos was insanely quick-- and looking through our final gallery brings back all of the emotions of the day. I cannot recommend Kyra enough- she is the perfect addition to your perfect day!

e made me feel so comfortable. Kyra goes the extra mile, she created personalized names for each of her photography packages after aspects of our lives! My fiance and I met Kyra in November for our engagement session. Neither of us are that comfortable in front of a camera, but she made it so easy. The pictures from the engagement session were wonderful! She captured our authentic selves so magically we were thrilled. We can not wait to see what the wedding photos will look like!

ame I knew we could trust her to take care of us. She captured our wedding day so beatifully and was so much fun to have around. She helped keep me calm while getting ready, corralled my massive 18 person bridal party like a pro, and gave us gorgeous photos to help us remember how loved we are by everyone there. All of our guests loved her and couldn't help showing off on the dancefloor. We can't believe what a wonderful job she did, and I will absolutely be reccomending her to all of my friends. Thank you so much, Kyra, for all your hard work and for being so wonderful <3
Kyra is awesome! I loved our initial call so much that I didn't explore other options. The conversation just flowed! We just received our engagement photos from her (much quicker t...
han expected might I add) and are blown away with how good they turned out considering we took them outside in 30 degree windy weather. She did a great job at putting us at ease and capturing our true selves. We're SO excited to have her shoot our wedding!
Kyra was awesome and made my fiance and I feel very comfortable during our engagement photo shoot. The picture quality turned out amazing. Huge thank you to Kyra!
Kyra was magical for sure! We booked her last minute due to another photographer backing out last minute (made me go crazy 2 weeks before the wedding) and we are so happy with her ...
work! She was so understanding and helpful and took the time to figure out what we were looking for within the short time she had to plan. She came in and hit the ground running with our crazy family! We had a beach house with family and friends and did our ceremony on the beach. Also I’m very awkward when it comes to pictures... I hate being in the spotlight but she gave me direction for the posed ones and the candid ones turned out great!! Highly recommend her for your wedding or any kind of shoot really. She made us so comfortable and is easy to get along with.
Working with Kyra was such a joy - she was extremely flexible when we had to reschedule multiple times due to rain, sickness, etc and she was always very responsive to emails. She ...
delivered absolutely beautiful photos to us (we did an engagement session and she was our wedding photographer) and was SO GREAT at staying organized, making everyone feel comfortable and directing everyone with what to do with their hands/poses/etc. We love her bright and airy editing style and how she brings out the most gorgeous colors in her photos and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer for their big day!

During our engagement session, she was casual and upbeat and kept us laughing, even in 90 degree weather. She was willing to experiment and made us laugh.
At the wedding, Kyra was calm under pressure, even when my stress levels were rising. She kept me laughing and lended an ear when I needed to vent.
Our photos from both sessions turned out wonderful. I was so worried about having these memories, and with Kyra I had nothing to worry about. I'm so excited to have these photos for the rest of our lives. Thanks Kyra!

portfolio very impressive, she was so friendly and full of wedding tips that she is always more than willing to share. Our engagement session was so much fun and she was so sweet and let me drag her to two different locations for our pictures. We received our gallery super quick and they were all absolutely gorgeous.
Leading up to our wedding, she was so on top of everything and reminding me of things I had never even thought of. She is a great resource for the wedding timeline and stays on schedule! Kyra and her second shooter arrived early to scope out our venue and we were able to get a ton of our pictures before our ceremony which was a priority to me.
We got our entire wedding gallery 4 weeks after our wedding but it honestly looked like she had spent 4 months perfecting them. They are so beautiful and really capture all the joy and laughter from our day. We will cherish our pictures forever.

meet us at a gorgeous location. Despite traffic, she was punctual and early enough to scope out the area for the best spots! Kyra made us both feel so at ease in front of the camera with her calm, friendly demeanor. As a result, our photos truly capture who we are as a couple, and we left the photoshoot feeling so confident in her! She delivered AMAZING photos (seriously— every picture is “Save The Date” worthy) in a timely manner. We’re delighted to bicker about which ones are our favorites! HIRE KYRA!

ing from our engagement session, to boudoir, and of course on our wedding day. She made us feel so comfortable and relaxed and she also took extra time to make sure that we got every shot that we wanted. She is such a sweet person and has an amazing spirit, it would be hard to not have fun with her! She was also easy to get ahold of even when she was planning her own wedding during our engagement. We are so so happy we decided to go with Honeycomb Photography and would highly recommend to anyone!
I knew I wanted Kyra to be my photographer from the moment I met her at a wedding expo. Not only were her photos beautiful, but she made it feel like we were friends after 5 minute...
s of talking to each other. She sent over a contract as soon as I asked for one and responded to my questions instantly. After I signed it the conversation didn’t stop there, we talked almost everyday and bonded over wedding stuff (before she got married) Taco Bell, gym clothes etc. she feels more like a friend to me than just my wedding photographer. When engagement pictures rolled around she was there an hour early (THANK GOD) I had this bright idea that we were gonna hike to this overlook for pics because people on Instagram make it look so easy.. yeah no it was freezing cold and a 2 mile hike and of course were in the mountains with no service so she drives all the way down to call me and we improvised and found some random spot off the side of the highway that was BREATHTAKING! Posing in front of a camera is weird feeling but she made us laugh the entire time and made us feel comfortable, and you could never tell by the pictures that it was about 40 degrees outside OR that she was standing in a parking lot to get the shots!! I can’t wait for my wedding day I just know the pictures are gonna be beautiful, so so glad I found you Kyra!!!!
Kyra was really amazing at everything she did. She made my husband and I, who are both VERY uncomfortable in front of a camera, feel very comfortable and natural. She was able to c...
apture “the picture”. Now, if you’re unsure what this means, if you saw it, you would understand. It’s breathtaking. People have approached me saying “that’s the one I wish I had. I have nothing like it”. I would recommend her to anyone! Love her and her pictures!!!
Kyra was wonderful to work with! My husband and I both don't like getting our picture taken but she made us both feel completely at ease during our engagement and wedding shoot. We...
had a lot of fun with her and her team and absolutely loved the pictures we got back! I highly recommend using Honeycomb Photography for your wedding and/or engagement shoot. I know we will be coming back to her for any future pictures we want to have done!
My husband and I absolutely loved having Kyra as our engagement and wedding day photographer! I am one of those people who does not really like to have their picture taken because ...
of silly insecurity reasons, but upon first meeting Kyra in-person for our engagement photos, she made me feel so comfortable with the process. She was also very interested in learning about my husband and I and how we met, which I think was important in establishing a good relationship with her. We just received our wedding day photos back and they look OUTSTANDING!!! Kyra makes sure to get pictures of every little detail of your wedding and makes sure to ask for specific photos that you would like to take as well. At a great, affordable price I would highly recommend Kyra and Honeycomb photography!
My husband and I had Honeycomb Photography do our 3 year anniversary session and we are IN LOVE with our images. Kyra is one of my favorite human beings in existence - her personal...

er to every question I asked (even the bizarre ones) and made booking and keeping in contact super easy!
For our engagement session I was a little bit nervous. My fiancé and I are awkward at posing, however, it ended up being one of the most fun days we’ve spent together. Kyra was so prepared with poses and dad jokes to keep us laughing.
Also! The online gallery is so easy to view, use and share, something I have really appreciated!

turn out beautifully despite cold, rain, and fog! It was so nice to have a chance to work with her before our wedding day just to break the ice a bit and get comfortable with each other. he entire process as Kyra kept us laughing and moving through poses so efficient and effortlessly. When we received our pictures we were so excited. They were gorgeous! She not only captured the posed pictures but also the cute "behind the scenes" moments. Leading up to the wedding she was available and ready to answer any questions I asked not only about photography but any wedding issues I needed help on. The wedding day came and went and Kyra was absolutely phenomenal. Of course there were "mini" crises along the way but she was able to help us stay on schedule and checked in constantly. During the photos after the ceremony, she was able to change things as needed to capture family pictures quickly and kept the rambunctious groomsmen in check...as much as they could be! Thanks to Kyra my husband and I have many beautiful, sweet, and funny memories captured from our wedding day. The pictures she delivered captured the essence of our day and I have so many favorites I don't know how I'll ever pick which ones to hang!

in front of the camera. She was sure to include all the photo requests I asked for. We even had our wedding sneak peak photos (about 20 photos) back the very next day after your wedding! Also- she is very affordable which I know is a big deal to brides. I definitely recommend using her.

ust loved how she captured us and we couldn’t of asked for anyone better! She was so patient and went out of her way to do anything for us. Our wedding was amazing and we cannot wait to see how our wedding photos turned out!! 100% recommend her!!!

hoot, and our wedding. Each time Kyra was incredibly easy to work with, punctual, professional, and full of great ideas! She makes you feel comfortable at all shoots, and has a great sense of humor (her and my husband had great dad jokes to share)!
She was a complete rockstar at our wedding; we had numerous family members comment that they have never experienced family photos that ran so smoothly at a wedding before! She was so organized and took control and made sure that we got all the photos we asked for, and did them really quickly, which was great so that my family could go and enjoy the cocktail hour! She helped alleviate so much stress at our wedding; I'm so thankful we had her there!
Her photography style is absolutely beautiful as well and has a soft, glam feel to it, which I fell in love with!
Again, I just can't recommend Kyra enough!
I work in bridal and met Kyra at a bridal show in Richmond the beginning of 2018 (before I was engaged!). She has a great personality and I knew I wanted to work with her from the ...
start. She is amazing--very punctual, communicates clearly and was super reassuring in the days before our wedding. We did our engagement photos with her as well and would highly recommend you take advantage of this included session to get to know her before the big day. She talked us through every step of the way and gave great direction! Photos were delivered to us in a very timely fashion and she gives a preview set the day after.
Photos are stunning and we could not have had a better experience. Book her!
