They brought a wonderful balance of their own creative ideas while also making sure they captured the moments that we wanted. Kurt and his team are full of kind, thoughtful, welcoming folks with great personalities and are very easy to work with. They communicated well with the other vendors and helped make the whole experience smooth.
After the wedding was all over, Kurt sent us our photos in a very reasonable amount of time and the pictures were beautiful and polished. It is such a joy to be able to look back at all of the fun and love we shared and relive each and every moment because he saw them and knew they would be special enough to photograph. How do you want to remember Your Day? Your special day is filled with passion and emotion, family and friends. I will capture all of the intimate moments that tell the story of your wedding day while making you and your wedding party feel completely at ease. I will capture Your Wedding Story Your Way!
I have many years of wedding photography experience, but what does that mean for you? That means that you can relax! I'm not going to be the one that tells you how your day will go and I won't tell you that you have to do this at that time and that at this time.
What I will do is work with your other wedding professionals and you to make sure everything stays on schedule as closely as it can. I will make sure that all of your intimate moments are captured and I will also make sure you get the beautiful posed images you want to preserve. I will interact with you and your guests to make sure everyone is comfortable on your wedding day. You probably won't even realize I'm taking photos.
I understand how difficult it is to choose the perfect photographer for your wedding. Nothing seems to make any sense because we all price things differently and photograph differently. What I can tell you is what will happen if you hire me for your wedding day. You will get:

• Online Viewing Gallery to share with family and friends
• Complimentary Engagement Session with all edited images
• Print Release to print photos anywhere
• Timeline Walk-Through to help plan wedding day photography
My Wedding Collection Pricing start at $2,500 and go up to $4,300+ depending on the options that are chosen. Most of my couples spend $3,800 and get my most popular Complete Wedding Collection. This package includes all of the above and my green screen photo booth for the reception.
I also offer a wide variety of photo booth options. These booths range in price from $500 - $1500+ depending on what type of experience you want to provide your guests. I have digital booths and booths that print full 4x6 photos instantly. Some booths can text and email the images directly to your guests or they can download them the next day from my website. Most couples spend $1,100 with us for their photo entertainment experiences.
All of my photo booths come fully attended with at least two attendants for the printing booths, and one for the roaming booth. There is no putting the photo booth in the corner and hoping for the best with us. We are interactive and highly engaging with your guests. We pride ourselves on giving your guests an incredible experience they will remember and talk about for months and years to come.

I'm always professional and willing to strike up a conversation with anyone so they are comfortable and more natural looking in their photos. My wheels are always turning and I don't like to sit. Kurt is very personable and has reached out to us after for other life events. On our wedding day, he was willing to travel back and forth to different locations to get all our “getting ready” photos. He even was willing to help deliver our flowers when we were in a time crunch!
Kurt made all the pictures so fun and even got photos we didn’t know about. I had a funny statue that became part of the day. He secretly took photos of it with different people and locations. These were so fun to see!
Kurt also ended up doing a scrapbook of our photo booth that he gifted us and it was so fun to look at! It was like another guestbook :)
He captured my father-daughter dance so well and I will look at those forever as well as the rest of our photos!

— to our wedding day — Kurt was wonderful. We had a great engagement session at Sidecut that was included in our plan. He made us feel like we were life-long friends and we felt like we had been his customers for forever.
On our wedding day, Kurt was cool, calm, and collected, which made everyone feel so much better. He arrived early to set up and spent 11 hours with us (on a holiday, at that!) He assisted with running items back and forth between the bridal suite and the groom’s party, he managed to capture every moment he possibly could, he helped come up with a way to secure the groom’s party’s boutineers after finding we had no pins, and his team he brought to help his run the photo booth and guest book process were so awesome. This team made our day that much better.
Two days after our event, Kurt sent us a few proofs to check out — and we are completely floored! We can’t wait to see all of our photos.
Don’t be apprehensive by the prices you see on his packages. He is worth everything. Your event deserves Kurt’s work. Book early because his business is busy — He gets booked for a lot of events — And that’s a testament to just how impressive his art is.

The engagement photos which were included in the package were a nice way to become familiar working together and we loved how they turned out. On the wedding day itself, Kurt is with you for every step of the way trying to get great, unique shots that you will love. He even found a security person at the zoo and asked them if we could use the carousel. Our guests all loved the green screen and that they got printed copies of the photos. You get to pick 6-7 backgrounds and there are lots of props available. Kurt's staff also makes a really neat scrape book with the pictures for your guests in the photo book that they sign. We LOVED how the photos turned out and would highly recommend Kurt for wedding and other professional photography needs!

Kurt was really great at managing our big bridal party of 20 people including us, he kept us focused to get great photos even after being on a party bus which isn’t an easy task! He was so good with kids and getting our ring bearers to laugh or smile for pictures. He captured every moment and what I love so much is that when he gives you your pictures, he gives you every single shot he took! You can tell that Kurt knows what he is doing and has been doing this for a long time. I highly recommend him and the complete package as well. Our guests loved the photo booth and props! The cool part is it will print off a photo for every person in the picture and an extra one for them to put in your scrapbook you get to take home that night after your wedding day. We got to pick different backgrounds for the guests to choose from for the green screen. The sky is the limit when it comes to different backgrounds to choose from! The turn around time of getting our wedding photos was fast. He even included all the digital pictures from the photo booth too. I highly recommend him to trust for your wedding photos!!! :)

hts to all photos, and a slideshow. Kurt is easy to talk to and definitely made us feel comfortable. It was a little muddy the day we took our engagement photos but he was prepared with a towel to sit on. He did a great job of getting posed and kandid photos at the wedding. He didn't get in our way and we didn't even realize he took several of the photos that he did. I was so happy we choose him since we didn't get a videographer because he was there from when we arrived at the salon in the morning until the DJ stopped at the end of the night. The guests loved the photo booth and he provided an abundance of props . His pricing is also very reasonable. I would highly recommend him. We will definitely be using him for any future professional photos we have done.

bridal show in 2015 and we signed with him right away. He works so hard every time he meets with you. He explains that his job is to capture your wedding day and wow he really did. A lot of my guests made comments about how hard he worked that day and how amazing the photo booth was. When we got our photos and the dvd of all our photos to music; we were speechless. The photos were amazing. If you tell him what you want he does it. He is very easy to work with. We forgot to get our thank you picture and he was already in his van talking to us and I told him and he got out and took a few at midnight that night and he had been there since 10:30am. I would recommend him to everyone. His time and photos are worth what you pay for them and my package included engagement photos too. We really liked all the pictures there wasn’t one we didn’t like. He got more than 1000 pictures on our wedding day. When you have him as a photographer you don’t need a videographer or a second photographer. He does it all on his own. His staff that worked the photo booth were awesome too they had fun with my guest and made the photo booth more fun. We got our photo book from the photo booth with everyone’s pictures in it that night;) It was a night to remember and we have all these photos to look back at and remember it by;) We will definitely go to Kurt when we need photos taken ;) Thank you to Kurt and his staff for capturing our day.

While attending "I Do at the Zoo" in 2015, I briefly spoke with Kurt and received a flyer with his prices and packages listed. His packages and prices caught our attention, we knew...
we wanted a photo booth and he has a better option!
My husband and I chose Kurt as our wedding photographer for many reasons, some which include price, comfort level with Kurt when we met him and in his studio, willingness to meet at different locations, and capture our entire wedding day, from early morning at the salon until the end of the reception! We had a baseball themed wedding that took place at Fifth Third Field, in Toledo, OH, and Kurt was with us every step of the way! He did so much running around and back and forth between rooms and floors, making sure to capture every moment he could and all of the essential ones! I remember him saying at one point he had so many steps in his day already, it had never been that high so early in the day!!
Another huge draw for us was the option to use his green screen photo booth, something we really wanted. We were able to pick and create our own back drops, and Kurt went out of his way to contact the Mud Hens directly himself to get the approval to use their copyrighted images. The green screen can fit many, many people. I want to say maybe even 25!!! Everyone in the picture gets a copy as well as the bride and groom, I highly recommend this option!! It doubles as a gift your guests can take home too. Pictures are memories that have forever been captured! I highly recommend Kurt and his staff.
My husband and I have been so happy with the work Kurt has done for us, we have taken our 16 month old daughter to him a few times for her photo ops as well! He's great with babies and large groups, Kurt Nielsen is your guy!

My fitbit step count was well over 30,000 steps, which I believe is more than 10 miles, but it was well worth it!
