Working with Krystle was an absolute dream! She captured our day so beautifully and she is such a joy to work with and so much fun. Krystle immediately felt like a friend and made ...
my whole family feel comfortable and natural behind the camera. We had to move our wedding from New Orleans to Dallas due to COVID and my husband and I had our immediate family - just parents and siblings. During an incredibly stressful time, Krystle made me feel so comfortable and confident leading up to the day. She went above and beyond, making recommendations and letting me run ideas and anxieties by her. She has such an incredible eye for capturing details and the special, intimate moments, and the way she captured our day with her photos is exactly how I remember it. Krystle’s photos are bright and light and full of personality and she so wonderfully captured the joy of our day. I absolutely recommend hiring Krystle for your wedding, she is incredible! Thank you so much, Krystle!

al talent to see beautiful images in the environment that you didn’t know could exist. She was wonderful to work with, easy to communicate with, and we had so much fun with both her and her husband during the wedding and for a day after session. She exceeded our expectations and helped make our wedding day perfect!

r lives thus far, but because she would be involved in so much of the wedding!
After a few weeks of searching, I finally found Krystle and connected with her right off the bad. The first time we talked, we chatted for over an hour (it was just like talking to an old friend) and quickly scheduled our engagement photos with her. I was a little worried how my now husband would do taking photos, but Krystle put him immediately at ease and the whole shoot was so much fun for both of us.
Once the wedding day arrived, it felt like Krystle was a part of the family. She made taking photos fun and was constantly on the lookout for opportunities to get the perfect shot. She even snuck my husband and I away, so we could get photos together by a creek at sunset.
For anyone looking for a photographer that will deliver amazing photos and is a breeze to work with leading up to your wedding and day of, Krystle is your girl!

ut she has such a fun, bright personality which enhanced our experience greatly. I had my engagements, bridals, and wedding photographed by Krystle so I got the chance to interact with her on several occasions. She does a fantastic job of making you feel comfortable at each shoot with understandable directions and guidance. She also offers excellent client service which is a huge plus. She was there for me every step of the way and as a Bride she will truly become your friend. Thank you Krystle for everything and for beautifully capturing the biggest and best day of my life!

nger than expected and Krystle was at the church before we got back. I felt so bad, but soon found out she made the most of that time and began taking pictures of rings, my dress, the groom and groomsmen, etc. She rolled with the craziness of a wedding day like nothing at all. My bridesmaids and family still tell me how much they loved my photographer [Krystle]. I just received the pictures from my wedding and they are beautiful. If you're looking for someone easy to work with who also knows what they're doing, choose Krystle!
Can't say enough about Krystle. She did our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos, and hit it out of the park. She is a fine-art photographer, but is priced fairly reason...
ably (in my opinion). She made us feel natural and happy in front of the camera, and people were RAVING about our engagement photos. Literally people stopped me at work to tell me how much they liked them (unprompted). We don't have our wedding photos just yet, but can't wait.

u laugh and honesty. She does portraits that will work for everyone in your family plus the neat creative pictures we see so much on websites. She really made us feel comfortable in front of the camera which I thought would be hard. We would refer her to any other friend and family member as she does treat you like a friend like so many of these other reviews has said.
She was so easy to work with and has a great eye for beautiful pictures.

time that I reached out to her. When you first meet you will feel as if you have been friends for years. Her calming presence put everyone at ease even my husband –who hates to have his picture taken. We loved every single image from our wedding day. Krystle is an amazing and talented photographer.

and myself at ease throughout the day.
My husband and I selected Krystle because her portfolio is gorgeous and her prices packages accommodated our budget. We love that she captures all of a wedding's special moments using both film and digital photography. Additionally, she edits photos in a way that retains each person's natural beauty.
I can't begin to express how thankful I was to have a photographer that made everyone feel beautiful. From start to finish, she was incredibly helpful. She functioned as both a photographer and event assistant, but all the while acted like a good friend.
If you're looking for a photographer that is talented, caring, supportive, affordable, and guaranteed to exceed expectations, look no further than Krystle.

sional, timely and beautiful. Working with her is a pleasure. I can't say enough good things about her, from scheduling and working with the Bride, she is tops in her field. And I have worked with others before her - So the praise is realistic. You may find another with lower prices but in my experiences you get what you pay for, and her prices are more than fair for her service and product. I would recommend her again and again.

res I wanted for the wedding, it was stress free and I recommend her to any future bride!

r blending right in with the wedding party and guests. I was surprised to find that I actually really enjoyed her presence as we were all getting ready together for the big day. I just loved her personality. When my husband proposed the next month and planning began, I immediately thought of Krystle. I did not want to make that decision too quickly though, so I looked into several other photographers. Some of them were more expensive and some were less. I decided to take price off the table (though I was on a budget) and really look at the photos more objectively. When it came down to my final decision I chose Krystle because her photos felt so natural and timeless. I think part of her ability to capture such beautiful images stems from how comfortable she makes you, and even the groom, feel. It is like you are working with a friend, that just happens to have a super fancy camera, an artistic eye, and incredible photography skills. I would recommend Krystle to any bride, and I feel certain that no one would regret hiring her.
My sister found Krystle Akin's website online, and we loved all her photos. I was so fortunate we were able to book her because she books very far in advance. She had a last minute...
cancellation that happened to be the Saturday of my wedding. I hate to say I was thankful that someone else had to cancel their wedding, but... :) Her pricing is very reasonable, especially considering how much more I liked her photos than others we looked at that were the same price or more expensive. She also traveled to get to our wedding and didn't even charge us extra. Krystle was so sweet and our photos turned out beautifully! She makes you feel at ease while taking photos, and she is so creative! Overall we had a wonderful experience, and both mothers of the bride and groom were very happy with all the photos, which is really saying something. I definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for an amazing photographer.

pictures are something we will cherish for the rest of our lives and the way that she captured our day went above and beyond what I could have ever imagined. She was very prompt in responding to all of our questions before the wedding and we received our pictures faster than she projected after the wedding and the wrapping that everything was in was just another reminder of how close her attention to detail is and how much she cares about making your day and memory of your day special. I would and have recommended her to everyone I know and will continue to do so. She is truly amazing and you will not be disappointed if you choose her to capture your special day!
I am more than happy with using Krystle as our photographer. She made our pictures something we will forever remember! I am glad to have been able to get her as she is very popular...

r reception, she blended in with our guests so well that I didn't even notice her taking pictures of us throughout the night. Her personality and level of professionalism did not go unnoticed, so much so, that my maid of honor has decided to use her as the photographer for her big day : )
I do not have enough nice things to say about Krystle. Her work speaks for itself but what is truly special about her is the way she treats her brides. On my wedding day I had the ...
stomach flu and I've never felt worse. She was so patient and kind to me and was one of the only people who didn't try to convince me it was "nerves". She was so sensitive to how I was feeling and somehow managed to make me look as though I wasn't sick at all.
Krystal is just one of those people you love to be around, which is great since your photographer is with you all night. We almost forgot she was there to take pictures, because she blended in with the party and had fun. She even taught our entire wedding how to do the Wobble!
Even my fiance said, as we were leaving the reception, how professional and great she and her husband were.
Her work is wonderful. I hope to hire her soon to do family portraits, if she is available.
Don't think twice about hiring her, especially because she books up quickly! It was the best decision we made, by far.

ore during the planning process and on that special wedding day. Krystle is the kind of person that seems to make everyone smile with just one word or one sentence (which is a great thing on a rainy bridal portrait day and a frustrated bride)! My whole family, wedding party, and friends absolutely adored her. I am and will continue to recommend Krystle to anyone looking for a photographer no matter the occasion. She's the best and that's why I picked her for my wedding! :)

for better. Not to mention- she is extremely talented. Her photographs are timeless beauty!
I worked with Krystle for my bridal portraits and our wedding. She is hands down the most amazing person to work with! She made the experience so much fun and not stressful at all ...
as I felt SO confident in her. She honestly made me feel like I was her only client. It took me 3 months to find a photographer that did more than just the "traditional" wedding pictures but still kept the pictures classy and professional. She caputured our wedding in a way I know nobody else could have, I literally have over a thousand pictures from our wedding day and they are all so wonderful. She was ALWAYS very quick to respond to emails and has the best personality, our entire wedding party loved her! She became much more than a photographer to me, I am really going to miss talking to her nearly every week. She is the photographer you hope to have - a dream to work with and goes WAY above and beyond expectations!
Where do I begin with Krystle?...I found her by looking up wedding photographers in the Austin area. I was judging them only on quality and not price. Of course price was important...
but I wanted a great photographer first. Over and over again I kept choosing her pictures. I went on her website and to my suprise her prices were very reasonable!! I contacted her and she was so easy going and we set up the engagement session. Let me say when the time came..WOW WOW WOW. she is very cool, easy going, she was with us for what seemed like an entire day, she left I think at 9pm. when we got the pictures back I was so impressed at her work I was speechless!! Beautiful! Original! I mean, she had us pose in slightly akward positions but I trusted her and omg I'm glad I did!! This woman KNOWS what he is doing! On the wedding- same thing. First off , the entire time everyone was asking who did my engagement photos, lol. Second, everyone who was in my wedding pictures later has Krystle's pictures in their homes. That's how great she is. I recommend her hands down without a second thought. She is so easy to get a hold of, answers a million questions with a great attitude, and she goes out of her way with all aspects of being a photographer. And her pictures speak for themselves they are beautiful!! Highly, highly recommend!

lent and Krystle was definitely it! I knew I wanted Krystle as our photographer as soon as I saw her amazing work. Krystle did our engagements, bridals and our wedding and I could not be more impressed with my photos. But what made the whole process even better is, on top of being a fantastic photographer Krystle was so much fun to work with, be around and talk with. On the wedding day we never felt rushed during pictures, on the day of our engagements she got my husband to actually somewhat “like” having his picture made…and on my bridals she actually put up with my silly dad giving her a hard time most of the day. ;) I feel blessed to have found such a sweet and artistic photographer. THANK YOU Krystle!!
–Lots of Love Kristen & Michael

I definitely recommend her if you want a photographer you can count on to not let you down in any way!
