About this vendor
Here's the thing about wedding photos: they aren't supposed to JUST be photos! You know, those flimsy, semi-glossy, finger-smudged prints you throw around in a shoebox and throw out when you clean out your closet. Sure, you might store them in a box under your bed, but the beauty of photographs is that they possess the magical ability to transport you back into those moments in an instant. We take that detail into great consideration. This means we will never tell you, "stand here, turn sideways, tilt your head, smile at the camera...". We want to capture MOMENTS, FEELINGS, and GENUINE EMOTIONS.
Every click of our camera is a precisely calculated snap to tell the story of your day. Your children, their children, and the neighbor's children will be able to flip through your album and instantly feel all of the love and excitement you shared on your big day. Your mother wiping a tear from her eye, the gentle stroke you gave each other's hands clasped together and hidden on your laps during your Best Man's toast, your baby cousin Tommy wailing on Great Grandma's lap as she secretly pinched his chubby arms with a smirk on her face. REAL moments, that's where it's at.
The cherry on top is that we know you want to look GOOD in your photos, too! We give tons of direction during our portrait time to ensure you look your best, while feeling super comfortable without that awkward posing stuff. Throughout the day, we capture you in the most natural ways, so this time is no exception. We've been told we can crack a real smile on the sternest of faces, the shiest of children, and the crankiest of uncles. So basically, you will have a really difficult time choosing between a portrait and a total 'in-the-moment' photo for your profile pic.
We know wedding photography is SO much more than JUST photos. And you will be so happy you knew this secret too, and shared that belief with us.

I would absolutely recommend Kristin to anyone looking to have an amazing experience with their wedding and/or engagement photos! She is such a ball of energy and her vibes are inf...
ectious, making both my fiance (who sometimes can have a little bit of a stiff smile) smile and laugh so genuinely that the photos are just incredible. Not only did she make our experience wonderful, but Kristin worked so well with our videographers and at our venue, both of which she had never worked at/with before. Her turnaround time for our photos was also impressive and the photo album she created for us was such a beautifully comprehensive review of our day for us to enjoy. I can't emphasize enough how much I loved having Kristin as our wedding photographer - she is simply the best!

hing for Austin photographers and I’m so glad I did. She did my maternity shoot for my first pregnancy and the pictures were beyond gorgeous. She made me feel so at ease, she is HILARIOUS (which I feel is very important in making people feel comfortable being photographed) and she knows how to get you to look your best. Her work speaks for itself honestly. Besides her maternity work, I am still so in awe of her wedding photography and that’s not even what I used her for! Don’t hesitate, book her! 10/10 would recommend!
Kristin was such an amazing photographer and person to lean on our wedding day. I knew I could trust her vision, and she delivered the most beautiful pictures I could ever imagine....
Our day would have not been the same without her. Her work was worth the investment. We’re so thankful and 100% recommend her!

ecial moment. Kristin definitely demonstrated her expertise and professionalism. I left the vision up to her and she ran with it. I always thought of myself as not that photogenic, but Kristin gave me the confidence to "strut my stuff." Her energy and positivity was truly encouraging and made me feel like a professional model. Needless to say, the photos are stunning. Everyone that has seen them loved the natural lighting and how well they captured my personality and the special moment. These photos are truly timeless and I have Kristin to thank for that. I have zero regrets. Forever grateful - thank you

We had so much fun shooting with her and I immediately knew we made the right choice. Kristin is so fun to be around! She’s funny, she’s the ultimate hype girl, and she gives great direction. Kristin helped make my wedding day truly incredible and we had a blast spending all day with her. I’m so sad that it’s all over now, but we would rehire in a heartbeat! She is such a gem and you will never regret booking her!

The photos we received turned out better than we could have ever imagined!! She captured all the details so beautifully and never missed an important moment. I cannot recommend Kristin more, she is 100% worth the investment!!!!

sing. We were drawn to her work because it didn’t look like the latest Instagram trend. Her photos are elevated, romantic, and classic.
We had a backyard wedding in July in Texas, when I was seven months pregnant. So this was like Plan F of our original wedding plans that were all thwarted by Covid, and I was down on then whole idea. During our initial call with Kristin, she made me feel excited for my Plan F wedding. She encouraged us to do a first look and a dance, which we initially thought our little casual affair didn’t need. She was so right.
You couldn’t do better for a photographer. Her eye is amazing. Her pictures are flawless. And she is also a blast to be around and will make even the most awkward person feel comfortable. She made me feel pretty in my third trimester, in the middle of summer in Texas, so she works miracles!

She was absolutely fabulous to work with, helping us plan out our whole day-of schedule and giving us great advice and tips on timing, locations, lighting and all of the little details that are so easy to miss throughout the planning process.
Finally, she helped to make the actual wedding day so enjoyable, saying things to make us laugh out loud and genuinely smile while taking our photos. She makes the whole process feel very natural and fun.
We couldn't recommend her more!

ecause I knew how fast she gets booked! Photography was one of the top priorities for our wedding and she does not disappoint. She is incredibly professional, lovely, responsive, kind, and takes THE most gorgeous pictures of all time. Seriously, she works magic behind the camera. She also makes you feel very comfortable and makes you laugh in a way where you feel so at ease when you’re having your pictures taken. Don’t even think twice about booking her for anything, she is hands down the most talented photographer I have ever seen.

sed our expectations. The variety of moments truly have meaning behind them and share our story. She made the experience easy, she was so personable and easy to work with, it felt natural taking photos. She was also very familiar with our venue (gardens) and knew where great spots would be. She was able to capture the essence, beauty and the magic of the day and we could not be more pleased. The candid moments are everything! I will forever cherish such special moments from this day, all thanks to Kristin. Highly, highly recommend!

re very natural, soft, and romantic, which was exactly the look I was going for. I also knew after my first email conversation with Kristin that I could trust her. Leading up to the photography session I was a little nervous, but Kristin made me feel super comfortable and beautiful. Kristin's passion for photography and fun, kind hearted personality makes her easy to work with and will make you want to book her for all future photography needs. Also, she was very professional and communicative throughout the whole process from start to finish which is an added bonus. Kristin was 100% worth the investment!

She is nothing short of magic. She is the best photographer there is out there, hands down. The pictures she took for our wedding day were so romantic and special, detailed and interesting, all with such a pretty and warm perspective.
Her aesthetic is just so romantic, her team is the best of the best. I couldn't imagine having anyone else responsible for capturing our wedding day, working with Kristin was just a dream. You can trust that at every single second of the process you are in the BEST hands. Her work speaks for itself but her professionalism and kindness is just as unforgettable. Loved every second of working with Kristin, I would do it all over again and again!

We don’t consider ourselves photogenic people, but Kristin was able to work her magic to give us incredible images that we will cherish as we look back on our wedding day forever. I can’t recommend Kristin enough!!! You won’t regret choosing her!
Kristin made our wedding! The photos are more than we could have asked for. I can not wait to have these hanging in our house.

ut there and her pictures are breathtaking! We did both our engagement and wedding pictures with her and she made both my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Kristin is a joy to work with and will make you feel absolutely beautiful! She is definitely one of the most talented photographers out there and I would highly recommend her to anyone! Our pictures turned out so amazing and beautiful that we can not stop looking at them! Definitely book her for your big day and you will not regret it!

look stunning during our engagement photo shoot, despite my husband having one of the most frustrating events ever happen minutes before our shoot, blew us both away! She was one of the best wedding investments we made! I wish she did photography outside of wedding/engagement photos b/c we would probably hire her on a yearly basis to take our photos (& we live half way across the country from her!). Highly recommend her!
If you are questioning which photographer to book, stop right now and book with Kristin La Voie Photography! I can't say enough wonderful things about our time with Kristin and how...
beautiful our photos turned out. We knew right after our engagement session that we 100% made the right selection with Kristin...she made us feel so comfortable and helped us loosen up! She is so laid back and makes you feel at ease with the entire process, there are never any "awkward" moments. She truly captured our personalities and our love in the best way. We are still in awe over photos and are so blessed to have these images to look back on years from now to relive our big day. Thank you Kristin for everything! You are truly talented.
Kristin is amazing!! I knew from the moment I saw her portfolio that I wanted to work with her, and then as soon as we spoke on the phone for the first time it was confirmed! She's...
super talented and is a master at working with light. Her whimsical, light and airy style was exactly what we were looking for, and she has an amazing ability to capture the essence of every couple/wedding she shoots. An awesome photographer was a high priority for me in planning, and we couldn't have made a better choice! She was a pleasure to work with from start to finish and made us feel very comfortable during the engagement shoot and wedding, not an easy feat with all the posing that can sometimes seem unnatural. We had the best time with her and are so happy with our photos. Would highly recommend!!

er is that she has a fun, free spirited and playful attitude which is contagious and I’m convinced this is why her photos are pure perfection. Kristin shot our engagement photos, a boudoir session and our wedding photos and she is just a joy to be around. Capturing beautiful and raw moments is her passion and during your shoot you will see her become inspired by her surroundings. She has the instincts and vision while knowing how to make the most awkward humans feel comfortable in front of the camera. I promise you will not be disappointed if you hire Kristin to capture all your special moments!

e which photos to use in our books!! Thank you for your patience and ability to work with so much chaos going on around us while we were getting ready!! Memories are forever in the photos, and we are so lucky to have such beautiful ones to cherish forever!
Kristin is simply the BEST in the biz. Kristin took the time to get to know me and my fiancé well before our wedding day so we felt comfortable in front of the camera and with her ...
team. She went above and beyond to get each and every photo that was important to us and we could not have been more pleased with the way they turned out. At the end of the night, Kristin came and found me on the dance floor and mentioned that she didn't have a photo of my brothers and I and knew I had requested one. It had completely slipped my mind. She made sure we got one before she left and now this is one of my favorite photos from the night! On your wedding day you have a million things running through your head and Kristin makes sure you are relaxed, stress free and loving life. THANK you for capturing our most perfect day on film for us to remember forever.

ssional photographer was the most important thing to me. I'd heard that your wedding day seems to be over in an instant (update: it's true!) and I knew I wanted to have beautiful photos to look back on and remember the day. When my husband and I were looking through our pictures, we truly felt like we were reliving our wedding. Kristin and her second photographer, Matt, captured the most stunning yet natural looking shots of us as a couple, and also every special moment from the ceremony and reception. Kristin is incredibly talented and her pictures all look like they belong in a magazine! Aside from her beautiful photography, Kristin is so friendly, organized, and easy to work with. She has the gift of instantly putting people at ease, and my husband and I felt totally comfortable with her- which is so important on such a big day. I loved everything about my wedding and worked with many wonderful vendors, but booking with Kristin was by far the best choice we made throughout the whole process- because when the cake is eaten and the flowers are gone, the pictures are what you will have forever!

n for our engagement photo session a few weeks ago, we loved how comfortable she made us feel while posing for photos. Now that we have seen the finished photos, we are blown away! All of the photos are so gorgeous that it's hard to pick our favorites. We can't wait for Kristin to capture our wedding on August and can't recommend her highly enough!

ne of my coworkers loved them so much she sent them to her Mom (whom I have never met) and her Mom said that these photos were unlike any other wedding photos that she had ever seen - that she could actually feel the emotion of the day through the photos. Besides producing flawless photos, she's also a fly on the wall during the day, doesn't make you feel weird or awkward posing. This is more important than you realize, because your wedding day can go by so fast, the last thing you would want is an annoying photographer pulling you away every second. She's super fun and makes you laugh, that helped us a ton during our engagement photos. I honestly don't know how to thank her enough for capturing our day. My husband was not to excited to spend the money, but when we got the photos back he told me she was worth every penny and more! She's tough to nail down and is in high demand, so request her ASAP. THANK YOU, KRISTIN!!!
Wow! What An amazing photographer. If there's one thing I didn't second guess while planning my wedding it was booking kristin. Not only is she extremely talented and your pictures...
will turn out like they belong in a magazine but she makes it so much fun! There's few people that really enjoy getting their picture taken but she knows how to make you comfortable. If you want gorgeous, natural looking photos taken by a true professional- look no further. Thank you so much Kristin!
I wish I could give Kristin 100 stars! I was engaged for 5 years and knew that my photographer was going to be my main priority. Kristin is pretty pricey but worth every penny! I'm...
happy with every sacrifice I made to have the beautiful photos. My husband and I are both horrible at taking pictures and my family never smiles. She managed to make everyone feel comfortable, laugh, and gave us amazing pictures. There are so many photos where people asked "how did she capture that moment", which says it all! Kristin is bright and such a positive person to have around and once the wedding gets started she and her team just slips into the background, running around getting amazing shots. I cannot say enough good things about Kristin except hurry up and book her! You'll want to book her first before anything else to make sure she available - she's THAT GOOD.

nd were having trouble finding one that we connected with….until we met Kristin. After our initial meeting, we knew that we HAD to have her. Kristin’s enthusiasm, passion, drive, huge heart and bubbly personality truly make her one of a kind and SO MUCH FUN to work with. Whether you are outgoing or shy, she will make you feel confident and amazing in every photo that she takes. Additionally, she is exceptionally professional, responsive and accommodating in all that she does. She is without a doubt one of the most genuine, personable, positive and inspiring women that I have ever met. Take one look at her Website, Instagram, Blog or other social media accounts and you will instantly see the immense amount of incomparable talent that she possesses. Not only is Kristin amazing to work with, but the team that she brought to our wedding was also nothing short of amazing! My husband did not have enough wonderful things to say about the second photographer that was with him and his groomsmen while Kristin was with girls and I during the morning. I have the utmost respect for Kristin and her work and HIGHLY recommend her! We cannot thank her enough for the incredible memories that she captured through her photos - they will certainly be cherished for many years to come ☺

geous. A very talented photographer, I was drawn to her work due to her use of real film, which has such a beautiful soft look, against the digital camera obsessed time we're in!
Super disappointed. Our initial conversation was amazing and I had fully intended on booking with Kristin. After our convo, she sent me a contract to review with an expiration date...
of 01/31/17 and left me with a verbal assurance that she would inform me if anyone else was interested in my date. I forwarded the contact to my in-laws for review since they would be the ones paying for it. My father left her a voicemail a couple days before the contact expiration date with a couple questions needing clarification before it was signed, and she responded the next day (still before the contact expiration date) that oops, the couple days we took to review the contact was too long and she was already booked! With no mention to me that anyone else was interested. I understand it can be competitive to secure dates for vendors, but in EVERY other case if somebody sends you a contact they absolutely don't re-nig on it before the expiration date, especially without warning. As I said, I was fully intent on booking with her, most likely at the most expensive price point offered for her packages, but am now left in a lurch to start my search all over again. In my opinion, was definitely handled very unprofessionally and was a big waste of my time and now adding stress to an already stressful process!
Choosing Kristin La Voie Photography was easily the best wedding decision I made. She truly captured the most beautiful photos and I could not be any happier. Kristin is extremely ...
quick to respond and extremely professional. She made the whole planning process stress free! She is so funny, relaxed, easy going and just so much fun to be around and so much fun to work with! Not only was I amazed by all the photos, but the presentation of the USB and photo album is beyond beautiful and extremely high end. I would recommend her to any future bride - I promise she won't let you down!

ted in a photographer for our outdoor July wedding. She is very personable and working with her felt like hanging out with a close friend. We hired Kristin and her assistant to take our separate photos as we got ready, and had them both during our first look, portrait photos, candids, ceremony, and reception. I wanted to recreate photos that were taken at my parent's wedding, and Kristin had printed out the photos and given them to her other assistant (3 total people), and was checking them off once we got the poses we wanted. While taking photos, Kristin was very professional, but also made us laugh, which helped to create very natural looking photos. She was very efficient in getting our families together for larger group shots, and was able to capture our day perfectly. Kristin and her assistant took photos of not only my husband and I, but also of our guests, capturing moments we otherwise would have never seen. Kristin has an eye for photography, and was very quick to post a sneak peek on her blog (only about 3 weeks after the wedding), and sent us a link to our photos after about 4 weeks. In the meantime, she posted some of the photos on her Instagram account. The photos are absolutely gorgeous, and we will treasure them forever. I would recommend Kristin without hesitation; she was absolutely fantastic!
The most beautiful wedding photos. I could not be happier. Kristin is so easy to work with. The photos look like they belong in Vogue magazine. I couldn't recommend her more
