Krista Esterling Photography

r, but also person to be apart of our special day. Our photos speak for themselves and show just how wonderful Krista is. Her work shows ease, beauty, creativity, and fun. She was a big reason our wedding day went off without a hitch. We could not have found a better person to have apart of our special day and capture our special moments to cherish for the rest of our lives, thank you so much <3

most special couple. And during our shoots she made us feel like we were her favorite couple to work with (which I’m sure she does for everyone)! Her communication was always thorough and knowledgeable. We always felt listened to and taken care of. And the meeting we had with her a month before the big day really gave us confidence that we’d have nothing to worry about when the wedding day came. She helped us plan our day of timeline, she took notes on who important family members were, as well as everyone’s names and the names of our bridal party. She perfectly integrated herself into our getting ready process on the day of. She kept us all on timeline, she was always ready with an extra bobby pin or tissue, and she made the whole process fun for everyone involved. Krista was so stealthy during the ceremony, I don’t remember seeing her at all, but we’ve got the pictures to prove it 😉. During the rest of the night she captured every important moment and got great candid photos of our guests. When we received our photos back, we couldn’t have been happier. We looked the best we ever had. The editing was fantastic, the variety of photos was great, and everything was perfectly organized and easy to share with friends and family. I would definitely recommend Krista to anyone who is looking for the perfect photographer on their big day!

edding process. Her photos are so bright and full of joy, which really embodied her and us. When we met her for the first time, we knew immediately that we wanted to book her as our photographer. She made us feel so special, and she has such a calm energy that makes you feel like you've been friends for years. My fiance was camera shy, but we had so much fun at our engagement shoot, and it really settled our nerves for our wedding day with being in front of the camera! She really helped me plan out our day, and knew everything that I didn't even know I needed. I knew I was in good hands going into our big day. On the day of our wedding, she was so fun, and able to really take the lead on making sure we were where we needed to be, and she was down to do all the fun requests we had, like a little joy ride on a boat! She executed all of our "must-have" photos without question, and it made me sad when she finally had to leave for the evening, after being there for EVERY big moment of the whole day. I cried when I got our sneak peeks, and even more when we got our photos-ahead of schedule! She really snuck every photo possible- for example, when I was walking down the aisle, she got every reaction on my and my husbands faces, along with my mom, our wedding party, guests, officiant, and it was all in perfect quality. It's a good problem to have when you can't pick out your favorite pictures because they are all so stunning. Krista is so thoughtful, intentional, and kind. I am so grateful for all of our vendors, and Krista really was the perfect person we could have had for our day. 100% will recommend her, always!!! We love you!

y is Krista incredibly talented behind the camera, creatively capturing moments of the day and beautifully editing the photos, but she also managed the day with such grace and ease. Krista has a personable charm that made everyone, from the bride and groom to the wedding party and families, feel comfortable and able to enjoy each moment. She expertly managed a large group of people while making sure to capture our requested photographs and respect the timeline even while navigating a HOT July day. In stressful moments, Krista's calm, gentle direction, allowed everything to move along smoothly without feeling rushed. Her photos capture the genuine joy that filled the day. We received sneak peaks the week after our wedding and our full gallery within the next six weeks. Shortly after receiving our online gallery, a small package arrived in the mail with all of our images on a flash drive, nearly fifty printed pictures from our wedding day, a locket, and a ring dish made by Krista - it was such a sweet touch and made us look forward to selecting our favorites for print – the photos are even more beautiful on the page! Krista’s personality matches the qualities that are highlighted in her photos – bright, warm, organized, and genuine – making it an easy choice for us to have her as our wedding photographer and a choice we would happily make again. She is highly organized, excellent with people, and incredibly talented at capturing the best moments of your day – we could not recommend her enough.

Krista gave us great direction, it felt like hanging out with an old friend. After getting our engagement photos we knew the wedding photos were going to be amazing too! And they were! We can't recommend her enough.

truly fit the bill and made everything run so incredibly smooth for us. She’s friendly and caring, which is reflected in every step of her business! From scheduling, communication, experience, and quality of service, I could not recommend her enough.

h her through the end of our wedding day, we felt super comfortable and knew that we were in good hands. She made it super easy for us to trust her and we are beyond happy that we did! Krista goes above and beyond to form genuine connections with her couples and it shows in the pictures that she was able to capture! The pictures showed our personalities and our relationship so effortlessly. We are beyond happy with our photos and cannot recommend Krista enough!

w), at that time we had just recieved some previews, and I cannot put into words how amazing of an experience it was working with Krista. From day 1, she has always listened to our vision for our photos for the wedding, she is incredibly professional but also so incredibly approachable. She is very flexible, working with us the night before to find a new place for our engagement session given rain was anticipated the next day, but also advocates for herself in terms of what she does and does not do as part of her packages, for which we greatly appreciated the transparency. For those who have never done any professional photos, she gave us plenty of ques on how to pose, mixing in staged photos and spontaneous ones. On Wedding Day, my family was, for the most part, non-English speaking, and she, in the kindest way possible, took command and helped my family get organized and get the photos they wanted despite the language barrier. Her communication is incredible - despite her very busy schedule she ALWAYS responded so quickly to all our questions and emails (heck, we were the ones that took days to reply at times, not her), something that was greatly appreciated especially as the big day got closer and closer. She books the entire day and weekend for you, and we never felt rushed during our engagement session, in-person meetings with her (even though we ran well past dinner time she never complained haha), and especially during our Wedding day. Her bright, colorful, timeless style of photography is exactly what we were looking for and we cannot thank her enough for an amazing experience. - A & L

our wedding day. Very organized and meets up with you multiple times before the big day to make sure everything is set. Krista is flexible with the dates and times for meetups which is extremely helpful with busy schedules. She is quick to respond when asking any questions and you can tell she knows what she is doing. During the wedding day, she was professional but made everything so fun. She knew how to lead the crowd but not be overwhelming. We still get comments from the wedding party about how great she was! She was quick to get us sneak peaks and organizes her online galleries so well. We are so grateful we found Krista and would recommend her to anyone!

rk with her. Her photography is phenomenal and everyone had so much fun taking photos with her at our wedding. We ordered a wedding album from her too and wow! The design is fantastic!! We actually struggled to narrow down the photos to go into the album, but Krista helped us with that as well. We cannot recommend her enough!

alented photographer, but she goes well above and beyond to get to know her clients and make them comfortable while getting photographed all day (because let's be honest, who actually enjoys that). Krista's pricing was right in the range of other photographers out there, but considering the quality of photos we received (engagement and wedding day), level of expertise and professionalism with which she works, and the genuine relationships she forms with clients, this was easily the best money we spent on our wedding. Cannot recommend Krista enough--you'll get the photos of your dreams and gain a true friend in the process!

highly reccomend!

and easy going demeanor made the entire process, from the engagement session to the wedding shots, feel like an ordinary day for us. Something that was really important to us with our photos, was making sure filters and editing didn’t take away from the natural color and beauty our venue had, and her work exceeded our expectations and more. Every photo received left us in awe, making it hard to pick favorites. Krista, you are a beautiful person inside and out! Thank you so much for your amazing work, and allowing us to relive our wedding day through your photos!

ront of the camera, she cheered us on with our crazy photo shoot ideas. I want to have a wedding again just to work with Krista!

sta whose work is not only beautiful and exactly what we were looking for, but an absolute JOY to work with on a wedding. Krista is a smart, charming person that we love to just be around. She is also so experienced, and we appreciated all the tips and insights she offered in planning our day. When we got about 30 minutes off schedule on the wedding day, she remained poised and calm, and we got right back on schedule - which greatly reassured this nervous bride! Our entire family and bridal party loved having her, and we are thrilled with the product. Thank you, Krista!

here Krista helped us pick a brewery and a cool outdoor spot. She did a great job making us feel comfortable! She was on top of all the details to ensure our wedding day ran smoothly. I felt like I could relax and enjoy my day and feel good that Krista would capture our day and keep us on schedule. And our photos turned out beautiful! She was very quick returning our photos and we love them all! Would definitely recommend Krista.

e appreciated. Examples include helping set up a timeline for the day of the wedding, making sure we had a list of all the pictures and groups of people we wanted. Picture quality: Krista's photos are exactly the style we wanted - colorful but natural feeling, lots of light. We love how all our photos turned out! Working with people: We weren't used to having all these pictures taken of us at first, and we felt a bit awkward... Krista was great at getting us comfortable and then capturing us at our best. Another thing I didn't appreciate until the wedding itself was Krista's ability to get large group pictures organized. She was the perfect balance of friendly but assertive, e.g. successfully getting the larger family groups together during the reception without interrupting the flow of the wedding. Conclusion: we can't recommend Krista enough. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better photographer for your wedding.

during the wedding planning process, we knew from the very beginning that snagging Krista was the best one we could have made. From day one, Krista took the time to get to know us not as potential clients, but people. Our thirty minute consultation became a nearly two hour chat, and we were left with no doubt who we wanted to capture our engagement and wedding photos. From tackling the daunting task of making our engagement session feel intimate at a place as busy as the State Fair, to the hectic ping-ponging between bridal and groom’s suite the morning of our wedding, we never saw Krista break a sweat! She always rose to the occasion with laughter and the best can-do attitude that soothed our frazzled nerves. Even at the height of my worst insecurities, Krista put the camera aside and gave me the most glowing affirmations; her authenticity and genuine care went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure I felt glowing and confident on a day I needed it most. We chose Krista because of the warmth and vibrancy of the small moments she captures. No moment, no matter how crucial or minuscule, goes unnoticed by her and for that we could not be more grateful. Do yourself a favor and don’t hesitate - having Krista Esterling on speed dial is worth the hype.

s ! She is so sweet and so fun to work with. Not to mention her turn around is SO quick, we got our wedding gallery back just about four weeks after! Her work is beautiful. If you’re thinking of booking Krista, JUST DO IT! You won’t regret it !!

heduling our meetings and engagement session. Her easy-going, positive energy helped us relax and made our engagement session and wedding photos so enjoyable! She also gave great guidance on our timeline and kept us on track for all of our wedding day photos, from getting ready in the morning to evening sunset. Our photos are gorgeous and we loved her attention to detail. We are so happy to have chosen Krista to capture our wedding day and would recommend her in a heartbeat!

ight and beautiful her photos are, and while the wedding ones won't be back for a while, the engagement photos went beyond our expectations. During the actual wedding day she was again, amazing. Present when she needed to be, blending into the surroundings other times. Could not recommend her enough!!

ibly talented photographer! She made us feel so comfortable during our engagement session and wedding day and all of our photos turned out beautifully! Krista is also an amazing communicator. She usually answered all of my questions before I could even ask them and always sent us super thoughtful, detailed messages - including a map and step by step instructions on how to get to a cool spot for engagement photos and super helpful notes/recommendations for other wedding vendors to reach out to. And on top of being super talented and detail-oriented, Krista is also so so kind and 100% the type of person you want to hang out with on your wedding day. During our engagement photo session, someone unfortunately broke into my husbands car and stole my phone and wallet. It was really stressful and Krista stayed with us as we frantically cancelled credit cards and tried to figure out what to do next. It was so comforting to have her there helping us. And because Krista always plans ahead, we already had a rain date scheduled on the calendar for the next week and we were able to easily meet up again and finish our engagement photos. The peace of mind that comes with working with someone as talented, professional, and generous as Krista is truly priceless. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

ding timeline and made us feel confident our day would good smoothly. We are so impressed with the photos we received and we're so excited to treasure them for years to come. She was such a pleasure to work with, I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!!

make a huge difference in our day. However, Krista went ABOVE AND BEYOND!! From helping the men put on their boutonnieres to capturing beautiful pictures of literally every single person at the wedding, we cannot recommend Krista more!! She will communicate throughout the entire wedding process, work with you when weather does not, and will provide the most encouragement along the way. I have not stopped looking at my pictures for the last 2 hours because I love them so much! Plus, all of our guests commented on how great our photographer was :)

well with us throughout the entire process, from the engagement photoshoot and picking out locations perfect for us and our style, helping us plan the wedding and scheduling out the specific details of the day, and then always ensuring that WE, the couple, were at the forefront of every decision. Krista took the pictures for my brother's wedding a few years ago and we loved her then, and still love her now. She's fun, personable, thoughtful, and just - she captured every moment of our day in a way that we will always be grateful for. You will not regret choosing Krista to be your photographer - we will recommend her to anyone and everyone we know!

, she knows her stuff and the final product is breathtaking. We are so very pleased with our photos!!! Highly recommend!

ferred to her by a friend and so incredibly thankful I was; I will be recommending her to everyone I know. She made us feel so at ease, when we first felt awkward with the picture taking, and made getting our engagement and wedding photos a fun and positive experience. There are just so many amazing things I can say about Krista and her photography. I have been told by many friends and strangers how my wedding photos are the most stunning they have ever seen, and they indeed are!! My husband and I couldn’t imagine having anyone else for our most special day!

g photos! She was the photographer at a sibling's wedding and after our meet and greet there was no question we wanted her as part of our wedding! Communication was clear and timely. As an out-of-state couple she went above and beyond by recommending other vendors and helping us organize our timeline! We selected the 2 photographer package for our wedding of around 100 guests. Having different angles of special moments and the candids that were captured while we were preoccupied are some of our favorite shots! Numerous guests complimented us on our photographers before anyone saw any pictures!! She made everyone comfortable and blended perfectly with our vibe. Krista is fun, professional, efficient, and organized. All of these qualities allowed us to spend more time interacting with guests and enjoying our wedding which was important to us. She is SO much fun to work with, and her presence absolutely made our wedding day better!! We were blown away by her work starting with engagement photos - and wedding photos were even better!! Highly recommend Krista Esterling Photography to anyone getting married!! Worth EVERY penny! Hands down she was one of our favorite things about our wedding!!

nd and keeps in close communication with you throughout the entire wedding planning process - making sure your special day is captured and the things, places, and people you are going to want to remeber are immortalized in beautiful photos. She is very laid back and willing to make sure the photos always represent who you are as a couple. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and I would/will recommended her to anyone.

is genuinely excited to be able to capture your memories and spends the whole day making you feel amazing. Her love for her work shows in the perfect photos that she creates. My friends and family cannot stop talking about how fantastic she is. She is also a genuine and kind person who is really there for you every step of the way. She made our day perfect. Stop looking and book her now!

nd all up to the wedding she was so communicative, helpful and so so kind. The photos are so beautiful and we couldn't be more happier with how everything turned out. I'd recommend her to everyone! Don't hesitate, you won't regret it!

olutely love how our engagement and wedding photos turned out! They are a perfect depiction of how amazing the day was! We are so glad we chose Krista as our photographer to capture these moments we will cherish forever!

things chill. We also really like our photos and already look back on them fondly even though it hasn't even been a year!

w professional and prepared to answer any questions we had. We knew instantly that we had to book Krista! Through every step in the process (and especially when COVID-19 changed our plans), Krista's thoughtfulness and attention to detail was so appreciated and reassuring. And not to mention, we absolutely LOVE our engagement and wedding photos. Krista sticks to her word and we got all of our photos quickly. Krista was able to capture our love and funny moments that we will cherish for years to come!

dding, she was so amazing through it all!! Now when I say "cancel" we did NOT cancel on her because of her at all. We had a change of heart and wanted to have a destination wedding but then ya know COVID happened. We had so much fun with her and felt very comfortable through out both sessions. I spend hours researching photographers and making a spreadsheet of who I wanted but when I came across and we met with Krista it was a no brainer! I usually don't like photos of myself but our wedding photos SERIOUSLY look like they should be in a magazine! If you took the time to read this review you are already thinking about it so please do yourself a solid and HIRE Krista!!

takes the most gorgeous photos, but also because she offers great engagement/wedding day packages and was able to be at our wedding the entire day! (A big plus because most photographers only offer a set amount of hours and charge extra for more.) Not only is she an amazingly talented photographer, but she is also great at managing people and time. She made us feel extremely comfortable during our engagement pictures, which can sometimes feel a little awkward! On our wedding day, we were running practically two hours behind schedule, and Krista helped keep me calm and assured me we would get all of the pictures we needed taken- she was right! She wrangled and managed our somewhat rowdy bridal party even while wearing a face mask! She is extremely professional, and kept notes of all of our picture asks and family dynamics for the day of. Her photography skills and talent behind the camera helped make for some amazingly gorgeous pictures at our wedding (definitely recommend doing sunset photos!) We received so so so many compliments from friends and family not only because our pictures were absolutely stunning, but also for Krista managing our photo schedule and bridal party the day of- she's an absolute rock star!! Lastly, Krista edited and sent us our photos not long after our wedding, and it was very easy to figure out how to download and save them with the helpful tips and tricks from Krista! Thank you again, Krista!

ing. We are so grateful we chose to work with Krista!

mall window for pictures since the makeup and hair went long. Krista was able to move along quickly and efficiently. She got all the pictures we wanted her to do in about an hour, maybe less. We are very pleased with what she did and would recommend her to anyone!

py she was the one to document our day. She is not only amazing at what she does, but her personality made us feel comfortable and always had us laughing. We are beyond happy with our wedding photos and will be recommending her to our friends!

hype girl! Her bubbly personality made us feel comfortable and at ease despite getting married in the middle of a pandemic! She is a great communicator, a quick responder, makes you feel like a friend and is very organized with timelines and all things wedding related! You deserve to have a photographer like Krista for such an important day! She can capture the emotions and beauty of the day and make you feel bomb and stunning doing it! We cannot wait to shoot with her again for wedding round 2 next year!

flexible and accommodating during these uncertain times of planning a wedding during a pandemic. The time she spent with us planning the timeline for the day and making sure we would get every picture we wanted made our day perfect and carefree. I can't recommend her enough. Thank you, Krista!

have our pictures taken. She is incredibly talented, and her pictures are beautiful, full of COLOR, and feel real. She truly captured our love in pictures and we are so happy with everything. She was also incredibly easy and wonderful to work with. We changed our wedding plans last minute secondary to COVID, and Krista was so great and helpful. We truly felt nothing but support from her during a challenging and stressful time. We feel lucky to have been able to work with her. Thank you, Krista!

akes sure to capture those special moments that are most important to you. She stays organized and on schedule to help your day run as smoothly as possible and has the best personality for making taking hours of photos a ton of fun! She was always willing to help with any question we had about timelines, day of, vendors, etc. She has a lot of wedding knowledge and is willing to share! We received countless compliments from the wedding party and guests about how great she was. She was by far without a doubt, our favorite person to work with throughout the wedding process. We recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer... she is hands down, the BEST! 😊

Not to mention, she was instrumental in keeping our group on schedule throughout our wedding day. My husband and I are not the most comfortable and natural in front of the camera, but we were so comfortable with her. And our pictures turned out incredible! I honestly cannot recommend her enough!!!

to know her prior to our big day through email, meetings & our engagement photo session. We knew we had made the right choice as soon as we met to talk shop & she asked to share a plate of nachos. She was full of good advice on vendors & helped guide us in our day-of scheduling decisions. On the day-of, she was the calm in the chaos. So many members of our families & wedding party have raved about her in the weeks since. It is very clear that Krista loves her job and that helped put us at ease that she was going to capture all our best moments. The pictures that she captured from the day are perfection and made us feel so special. Everyone should hire Krista for their wedding – she is amazing & did a perfect job of capturing us on one of our happiest days.
