**Review for Katie of Knockout Lettering – 5 Stars!**
I had the absolute pleasure of working with Katie from Knockout Lettering for my October 2024 wedding, and I can’t recommend ...
her enough! From start to finish, she was a dream to work with. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she's also friendly, approachable, and genuinely cares about bringing your vision to life.
I had a very specific vision for my wedding signage, especially for the seating chart, and Katie completely nailed it. She took my ideas and turned them into something stunning and unique, all while keeping the vibe fun and personal—nothing too stuffy or formal, just perfectly "me." The attention to detail in her work is unmatched, and I was in awe of how everything came together.
About three months before the wedding, I decided to add a custom beer sign since my husband is a brewer, and we planned to have a variety of beers on offer. Katie was so accommodating and seamlessly added this to our order. Not only did she create the perfect sign, but she also helped me repurpose a chalkboard I found in the trash, turning it into something beautiful and functional! Her creativity and resourcefulness really shone through in that moment.
In addition to the beer sign, Katie made us a gorgeous welcome sign and helped bring my vision of a fun, chalkboard-inspired wedding to life, especially since we were getting married at an old high school. She was flexible and worked with us through every step of the process, always checking in and making sure everything was exactly what I wanted. There were times when I couldn’t quite put my ideas into words, but Katie had an amazing ability to take my vague descriptions and translate them into perfect designs every time.
But beyond her skill and professionalism, Katie is just *so nice*—a true joy to work with! She made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire process, and I couldn’t have asked for a better vendor to be a part of my special day.
If you're looking for beautiful, custom calligraphy and a vendor who will go above and beyond to make your wedding vision a reality, look no further than Katie at Knockout Lettering. She is truly amazing, and I’m so grateful for everything she did for us!
Thank you, Katie! You made our wedding day even more memorable with your beautiful work. 💕

as to life. She also helped us work through some ideas we were unsure of and recommended alternatives that align with our vision. Katie is a great communicator, creative, detail-oriented, patient, and supportive. Personally one of our favorite vendors to work with throughout the planning process.

g! We hired her for our DIY wedding and seriously couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Katie is extremely organized, timely, communicative, and generally just kind and happy to help make your event special. We had Katie make our seating chart on window panes, welcome sign on window pane, bar and signature cocktail signs, in memoriam sign, name cards, dessert sign, and two signature memorial items for family members that have passed on. Great prices for the quality of product, as well! You can't go wrong :)

ns to determine how to best suit our stationary and signage needs. Throughout the planning process, Katie kept in touch and regularly asked for feedback on her designs. Katie's beautiful work absolutely exceeded all expectations - we are so grateful to have found her! I cannot recommend Knockout Lettering enough for wedding stationary, signage, and personal touches.
Knockout Lettering is such a fantastic vendor to work with—as soon as I reached out, she quickly scheduled a call to discuss my wedding. Even though I wasn’t entirely sure about al...
l the details, I had a general vision, and she made the entire process so easy and enjoyable.
I really appreciated how I could share my loose ideas with her, and she’d come back with a variety of creative and thoughtful suggestions. It felt like a true collaboration—fun, inspiring, and extremely helpful. Honestly, she's made me want to consider a career in lettering for weddings.
Once I booked her, she sent over a well-organized Google folder with everything we needed, including a clear timeline (which made my type A heart so happy!). She also made it super simple to provide all the necessary information for signage—names, formats, you name it. Katie made the whole experience seamless and stress-free.
Plus I LOVE my signage. It was perfect, exactly what I was looking for to add to the decor and overall vision of the wedding.
We loved working with Katie and highly recommend her for all your calligraphy and sign needs!
We first found Knockout Lettering when our original invitation envelope calligrapher ...
stopped responding and we needed our envelopes completed in a short timeframe. Katie responded quickly and was able to do our envelopes in a rush timeframe at a reasonable cost. Several people who received our invitations noted that Katie's work was so good they couldn't tell if the envelopes were printed or handwritten.
After our experience working with Katie for our envelopes, we decided to work with her for our wedding signs for our April wedding too. She provided our seating chart and signage for our bar, card table, guestbook, and sweetheart table. We were able to rent an easel and frame from her and we were surprised that we were able to keep several of our custom pieces. Katie absolutely nailed what we were hoping for and she made our wedding come to life with her work.
Katie is also extremely organized and responsive. She was easy to get in touch with for any questions we had and provided us a google doc to include all the details for our signs and seating chart. We did notice one small error in the doc, and Katie fixed it immediately. When we picked up our signs, everything was wrapped, labeled, and had opening instructions written on them, if needed. Our venue also commented on how well organized everything was and how easy it was for them to know where to place everything.
Overall, we had an incredible experience working with Katie and would welcome the chance to work with her again in the future!
We were introduced to Katie from a referral and we could not be happier. From the first consultation call with her I felt like she really cared about my wedding and saw my vision. ...
She was there for us throughout the entire process and was really easy to communicate. She was really flexible and provided inspiration and feedback on what designs I had sent her. The planning process was such a breeze and Katie made it so easy.
Then, when I saw her work my jaw dropped. She perfectly brought our vision to life and everything looked perfect. At our request she made us a keepsake bar sign which we're so excited to hang in our home.
I cannot recommend Knockout Lettering enough - thank you SO much Katie!!

od the theme and identified fun details that were the special ingredient to round out many stylistic elements. We ended up asking Katie to create table numbers, a seating chart, welcome sign, bar menus, memorial table sign, phone guest book sign, and cards & gifts sign. She color-matched the acrylic signs perfectly to our palette and linens. She used the perfect font and added playful doodles that fit the vibe beautifully. Pickup and dropoff were seamless and she was incredibly accommodating of our schedules.
All of this aside, Katie is just a lovely person and so easy to work with. When we dropped off signage, Katie seemed so genuinely happy for us and commented on how much joy she had seen at the wedding through our social media. We initially sought out Katie because of her chalkboard signage that matched our Bok wedding perfectly, but we got so much more than that and are so grateful.

and a bar menu. At the last minute, I also asked for her to do a cards and gifts/thank you sign, and she was more than happy to accommodate. It was super helpful that she has mirrors to rent for the seating chart so I didn’t have to worry about finding one. And her ability to drop off at the venue on the day of was so helpful so that I didn’t have to worry about it. Her calligraphy is stunning and I was SO HAPPY with how beautiful our mirror seating chart looked, along with the other signage. She was quick to respond throughout the whole process. Highly recommend knockout lettering for your signage needs!!

is a pleasure to communicate with; prompt, courteous, and even fun to talk to! She brings excitement to the planning of your wedding and you can tell she truly enjoys what she does. THE FINISHED PRODUCT!! Oh my god!! I had my table assignments written on two mirrors that she rented to me and guests gushed all night over what a lovely touch it was and all took pictures of themselves standing next to or looking at their table assignments on the mirrors. She also made our signature drink signs that were named after our two dogs and drew little cartoons of each pooch from pictures I had sent to her. I will remember this detail forever and have the drink sign framed and hung in our kitchen. It was such a special way to include our fur babies into our special day without having them there physically and of course again the endless guest compliments on how special those little details were had me smiling all night. I highly recommend this vendor and am not sure five stars is enough!

ife. We used faux tropical leaves for the name cards which looked SO COOL. I love that they tied into our decor perfectly. For the table numbers as well as our signature bar menu, she worked with our florist to do the calligraphy on fresh leaves -- it seriously looked STUNNING. So glad we worked with Katie! Highly recommend!

t kept with the old world vibe of the venue without being cliche. Of course this required her to run all over 3 states looking for vintage frames at thrift shops!!!
She was a delight to work with. A great communicator who always responded with timely updates and support for a sometimes nervous out of state mom. She was very aware of budget considerations. I cannot recommend Knockout lettering any more highly. Do yourself a favor and hire Katie!!!!!

d with both products. She allowed us to save some money by offering rental signages such as a guestbook and gifts/cards signs and frames. Katie responded quickly when we had questions or concerns about our package. She was flexible when we had last minute changes to our package. She also offers local pickup which made it easy for us to retrieve the products. Katie took the time to wrap the signages up to prevent weather related damage. The signages came out better than we envisioned. I cannot recommend Katie services more.
