Kinkead Performance & Events

. From the very first conversation, Kris made us feel completely at ease. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but they handled every detail with such professionalism, care, and calm confidence that we were actually able to enjoy the process. And then came the unexpected—a snowstorm that forced us to move our wedding from Saturday to Friday. What could have been incredibly stressful turned into something seamless because of them. They personally reached out to vendors, coordinated every change, and handled all the moving pieces without us having to lift a finger. We didn’t have to stress, make a million calls, or worry about what would happen next—they had it completely under control. On the wedding day, everything ran flawlessly. If there were any hiccups, we never saw them—because they handled everything behind the scenes. We were able to be fully present, soak in every moment, and just enjoy our day, which is something we will be forever grateful for. Not only are they incredibly talented at what they do, but they are also genuinely kind, thoughtful, and passionate. You can tell they truly care about making your day special and stress-free. If you are even thinking about hiring a wedding coordinator, DJ, jack of all trades —stop thinking and book them. I can say with complete confidence that they are the best in the business, and I would choose them again a thousand times over. Thank you for making our dream wedding come to life in the most perfect way imaginable—even with a snowstorm thrown in!

nning process. Kristi picked up on how type A I am immediately and tailored her planning to what she knew I needed. When the day came, Sydney and Taylor were so unbelievably helpful! They made it so we could relax and enjoy our day without having to worry about things getting done. I handed over my wedding day binder and they executed everything perfectly. We had one hiccup and they were on top of fixing everything before I even knew about it. The day went so smoothly and I could not have done it without their entire team!

nt on our wedding day because of them. Her team helped steam my wedding dress, put out all of our details and decor, table seating charts, etc. Sydney was so sweet and grounding before they opened the doors and I walked down the aisle. Kris fixed my dress and timed everything perfectly before my groom turned around to see me. The whole team worked so effortlessly with my venue and the rest of my vendors. Everyone seemed to be very in synch. Kris doesn’t play around and definitely stood up for me and my vision against some guests and family members, respectfully.  We also used Kinkead performance and events for our DJ. She did a great job MCing our event, we gave her must plays and do not plays, and she followed this perfectly and also pulled out a bunch of her own suggestions which had a lot of people on the dance floor all night! Great value for a DJ and Coordinator duo.

ng process. On the wedding day, everything was seamless—decor, timeline, vendors, and every tiny detail we didn’t even think of. We felt supported, stress-free, and able to enjoy every moment. We are forever grateful for Kris and her team!

emorable. Amazing people to work with.

ey we spent in the whole wedding. And to top it off she makes you feel loved!

tasks of DJ, Coordination, and Officiant. I don’t know how they managed to juggle every role perfectly, but somehow they pulled off a miracle (and made it look easy). As officiant, Kris pulled off a perfect balance between meaningful and lighthearted moments, and flawlessly incorporated a unique handfasting. As a coordinator, they were life savers and kept the timeline running seamlessly. Even stepped in to run the bar when the hired bartenders showed up late! As a DJ, they were completely on cue with important ceremony/special moment songs and during the reception, read the room perfectly and had the dance floor packed from the first song to the last. We truly couldn’t have imagined our day without them. 10/10 hire them now!

so smoothly because of their hard work and dedication. We can’t thank them enough!

essionalism, organization, and heart to the planning process. Kristi took time to understand our vision and made sure everything came together perfectly. She coordinated with our vendors, built a smooth timeline, and handled every detail with confidence and care. On the big day, she was a calming presence—completely on top of everything so we could actually enjoy our wedding without stress. Our day ran seamlessly, and it was all thanks to Kristi’s experience, dedication, and genuine passion for what she does. We truly felt like we were in the best hands from day one. If you're looking for someone who is kind, responsive, detail-oriented, and an absolute pro at what she does, look no further than Kristi and Kinkead Performance and Events. We can’t recommend her highly enough!

team made the planning process incredibly easy for a long-distance bride like me. They pour everything into weddings and take care of you! I feel like I gained a forever friend after.

have another wedding just so that I could work with them again!

is who me and my husband have entrusted to handle our DJ, Coordination, and design needs because we know it will be perfect!

entertainment they provided. They were very attentive to details and thought of all the little things that are difficult to do from a distance. We went to Tennessee once before the wedding and when we came back, they had everything ready to go for the big day. They were consistently in contact getting all of the details ironed out via phone calls, Facetime, and pictures as they were creating the wedding of our dreams. Everything went smoothly and was so much better than we could have imagined. They were able to shift gears in an instant when a sudden downpour soaked our outdoor wedding, but once the storm had passed, they got the party started again. We had a terrific time working with them and it was so seamless since they operate as a one-stop-shop. We would highly recommend them for any special occasion.

as trash ( to put it nicely). Kristi, being the sweet lady she is, talked to me + planned everything with me. She fulfilled every wish I had when officiating the wedding. And she definitely was great to chat with about which songs to play where! Her DJ skills are wonderfullll! WOULD RECOMMEND OVER + OVER AGAIN!!!! Thank you sooooo much from the bottom of my heart!!

to talk about details and changes anytime we needed, and made sure that things were exactly how we wanted. We ended up bundling our DJ, Officiant, and Florals with Kinkhead Performance, and we were so please with everything! The coolest floral arrangements, and the sweetest officiant and DJ. We would recommend Kris 100x over.

to help in every aspect of my wedding and had so many things to offer that I never even thought about! They were so responsive and made us feel at ease about everything! Every meeting we had was so productive, and reminded me how exciting it was to plan my wedding when I was so overwhelmed! I can’t recommend them enough!!! They really are the best!!! We can’t thank you enough! -The Bissels

rything so that we could enjoy our daughter’s special day! We can assure you, you won’t be disappointed with Kinkead!! The Whitt Family

pened without them. Not only did they ease my anxiety months before the wedding, but they kept me calm while the whole world was falling apart around us. Hurricane Helene put a HUGE damper on all wedding plans and they were right there with me every step of the way. They were flexible and so willing to help me make my wedding happen while they, along with the community, were dealing with their own disasters from the storms. The decor was beautiful, the florals were beautiful, and they really took time to listen to exactly what I was wanting in every detail. Thank you for being so AMAZING and helping us have a beautiful wedding despite all plans failing!

e 1000000 times over ❤️

not meet the expectations we had. Showing up wearing a baseball hat and shorts was a little disappointing, but not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things. We went over on a call with Kris exactly what songs we wanted to play and when, but pre ceremony he didn’t have them correct and said we “last minute changed them” which never happened. Leaving the ceremony we had to ask him to play the music, even though it had been clearly laid out. We sent cocktail hour and reception playlist a month prior to the wedding and he did not play either. I had specific songs we really wanted for cocktail hour and he started off with R&B, which we definitely did not want at all. my coordinator and I had to ask him numerous times to please open the dance floor, which he did not. 30 minutes later he did, with again the wrong playlist. I asked him to please play the playlist I sent to him and he told me no, he had other songs he was going to play first then play what we requested and had already sent out. Eventually the music was fine, but honestly he was just playing off of my Spotify playlist, so in hind side I would’ve saved my nearly $1000 and just played it myself and would’ve gotten the music we wanted the whole time. They were kind and stayed later then they were booked for, but the whole experience was highly disappointing.

s and equipment! They are able to do so much and have the perfect energy for getting the job done. They even helped us pull together last minute missing items and smoothed over edges that would’ve otherwise caused havoc. They’re awesome and I would 10/10 recommend!

! I also got their selfie station and flower package and I was blown away by all of it! They truly helped our day be as special as possible down to the very last minute! Thank you guys for all you have done and being such a special part of our lives!!!

have done without her! A few things inevitability didn’t go perfect on our wedding day, but she handled them with ease and I didn’t even know it had happened! 10/10 highly recommend!!!

ve to worry about a thing. they even called me to go over each special song to make sure everything was is the right order. we also had a last minute change in mother/son dance, which they didn’t hesitate to accommodate to. i couldn’t recommend a company more! we love kinkead performance!!

an awesome person all around. If you’re looking for a DJ who cares, CHOOSE HER!

, and followed through with a great day. If there were any issues, I didn't even know about them because they were taken care of by Kristi and Amanda. Thank you both so much for taking care of everything on our big day. When we renew our vows, we'll give you a call!

ies to work with and are willing to go above and beyond to make everything perfect. From the coordination, to the DJ’ing, to wrangling my guest, and more, they knocked it out of the PARK! Any future events I have, I will make sure they are right there again to make it perfect. Thank you doesn’t even begin to describe the impact Kinkead has had on us, we are forever grateful ❤️

e, to the dance moves, it was all beyond perfect! You will not be disappointed in choosing Kris and her team to make your day the best it can absolutely be!

rs work together to make their clients happy. And let me tell you KRIS AND HER TEAM ARE EXCEPTIONAL TO WORK WITH! Yesterday was my second wedding working with this crew and their communication, dedication to their clients, and their overall attitude is top notch! An absolute joy to work with each and every time!

t of stress and uncertainty. The sound of the ceremony music was great, as well as the coordination of the bride walk, the grand entrance, etc., and the dj music was so fun. Thank you ladies for having a blast with us :)

en needed! Kris made my wedding so special and I couldn’t be anymore thankful!

ore than they were asked, more than I even know about, made sure I was not stressed out, everything was handled so my husband and I could enjoy the day. Everything they set up was beautiful and they are so sweet. We had to change a huge detail very last minute. They reset the entire venue, made it beautiful, didn’t complain or hesitate one time if I changed something. They were genuinely happy to make me happy. My family and I are blessed to call them friends now. We love them. You MUST book them for your events!! I cannot recommend them enough.

o much coordinating and figuring out every detail of how the music and everything would be planned out. I was a mess not knowing how things were going to go but with the reassurance from Kris, she really put me at ease. Such a beautiful night that I’ll never forget

tle detail was taken care of (even the ones we didn’t know existed). The day came and we knew we could sit back and enjoy it, as they ran around keeping everything together and everyone where they needed to be. The music was great and they even got out on the dance floor to encourage others to let loose. If you haven’t hired a coordinator, hire these ladies, it’s so worth it. Thank you Kris and Amanda!

y of our rehearsal dinner and the chances continued to increase for the day of the wedding, so we had to use our plan B for the ceremony. Kris and Amanda put together floral arrangements THAT NIGHT for an arch we hadn’t planned at all and it turned out so beautifully. They are such great, genuine, and friendly people that I am so thankful to have met and have as a part of our wedding day and planning process. Everything went so smoothly without any stress and I wouldn’t change a thing. If you are hesitant or deciding between a day of coordinator, DO IT and use them, they took so much stress off of me and my now husband and just made the whole process so much easier and less overwhelming ❤️❤️

ice and I can’t say thank you enough. And Willis made sure our playlist was great, and stuck to our wishes about certain types of music. Truly a night to remember, a big part of it thanks to them!!

and reception. I am so glad I found Kinkead Performances on The Knot!

rateful. Everyone involved is incredibly kind and reliable! They'll play any song you request and make sure the bride & groom, as well as guests, are having a great time! Everything was great & we're very appreciative.

ent above and beyond. She met with us, had all of the songs, was so thorough to understand our entire wedding so she could really serve as a day of coordinator. We absolutely loved her as a person and a DJ. She even took videos and pics and sent us so many amazing shots. I can’t recommend her enough, truly an amazing experience and a fantastic human!!!
