riority, and the event was held on private property in Highlands, NC (a rather remote mountain town). I searched anxiously online for a month using The Knot and other sites and getting a lot of "no" responses. Finally I found King of Fire. What a joy from start to end. Communication was clear about money; deposits, cancellations, and travel fees. The menu items were extensive and appealing. The questionnaire and phone discussion with the couple just prior to the wedding were perfect to lock in the tiny details of parking/setting up the pizza equipment, setting up the rented tables and tablecloths, directions, etc. The food truck team was punctual despite a long travel time, and were very courteous and professional. Once set up, they were considerate of our time-frame and kept the food area spotless. The food was amazing! The salad was easy to eat, with small pieces and toppings /dressings displayed around it. The charcuterie tray was the prettiest and tastiest I have ever had. And the pizza! The pizza was hand tossed on-site and baked using a fancy, wood fired oven. It smelled and was delicious! Everyone had plenty to eat, with some boxes of leftovers to share. We supplied our own wedding cake, so the team was able to clean up at that time. They efficiently picked up and put their equipment away so quietly we didn't even hear them. We just heard everyone talking about the yummy food. :) The final price was reasonable and worth every penny.

day of and he was! We were so excited to see him, and as expected, everyone DESTROYED every bite of the garlic knots and pizza. I’m so glad they had pizza on the side for us. Zane is literally the best, and King of Fire overall was super easy to work with and communicate with! They were amazing. We had some last minute requests and changes, and they rolled with it, no big deal. They are seriously the best caterers and I can’t recommend them enough! Thank you for everything!!!

I asked twice, at the tasting and then the call a couple weeks before the wedding, if they would provide labels for the pizzas on the buffet. We were ready to make signage ourselves but were assured they would provide. Day of, they did not have labels for the pizzas. Second request was no pickled onion on the BBQ chicken pizza. When we had the call with King of Fire a couple weeks before the wedding, we confirmed pizza choices and were told they could do this modification. Our coordinator brought our dinner and the BBQ chicken pizza had onion on it. Thankfully it was easy for us to pick off and guests seemed to like it. Weird thing that didn't impact level of service too much, was in the 1.5 year we were under contract, they went through 3 wedding & event coordinators. We signed with one, asked questions/scheduled tasting with another, and checked final details with still another. At the end of the day, we really enjoyed having a pizza food truck at our wedding.

was absolutely amazing and very insightful on all the questions and concerns we had. I don’t remember the guys names that was there in the wedding day but they were awesome and on it with getting the food out and cooking delicious pizzas andddd that spinach artichoke braid thing did not last long! I would recommend KOF for every and any event if you want pizza! They have great options to pick from and work with food allergies as well. I couldn’t recommend them enough 10/10

They were a perfect touch to our wedding night. The apps and pizzas were so delicious!! Our guests were all commenting on the flavor and how kind the crew was.

They were friendly, efficient, and totally on top of everything. Having pizza at our wedding was one of the best decisions we made, and we’re so glad we chose this vendor to make it happen. e night saying it was some of the best pizza they’d ever had at a wedding (or anywhere, honestly!). We also did their meatballs and spinach artichoke braids as appetizers for cocktail hour, and people are still raving about them to this day. The variety made it easy for everyone to find a favorite, and it added such a fun and cozy element to the reception. Their staff was also wonderful—friendly, efficient, and clearly passionate about what they do. The pizza was so good that we actually have family members planning to travel 10+ hours just to visit their shop! Having King of Fire cater our wedding was one of the best decisions we made!

Multiple guests commented about how those were the best garlic knots they have ever had... and I fully am on that train. They were professional, efficient, and kind. I couldn't recommend them more. We met for the tasting and they gave us INCREDIBLE servings to enjoy, we even had our 4 year old son with us and they were so friendly and welcoming of him. Every detail was laid out for us and there were no questions left unanswered. Throughout the wedding planning, they emailed us to remind us of due dates and updated guest counts. The week of the wedding they were in great communication with us, and even went out of their way to verify certain aspects of the planning. The pizza was AMAZING. The fact they cook on site in their wood fire and serve it as its done was so fun, and our guests are still talking about the pizza over a month later. To add to the 5 stars, the staff went above and beyond for us. The were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely wanted to ensure that we had everything we needed and more. They even came up to us personally at the end of the night to congratulate us and ask us if there was anything else we needed before they left. I absolutely could not recommend them enough!! You will not regret having them be a part of your day! BOOK THEM NOW!

Everyone was blown away not only by the quality of the pizza (it takes them three days to make their dough for the crust and it’s awesome) but also by how nice the staff was. They were working hard but seemed to be having a good time while they were doing it. Also Abigail in the main office was very responsive during the whole planning phase and staying in touch which was really helpful. I would enthusiastically recommend King of Fire for your next catering event. You won’t be disappointed!

he truck was cool to have to be able to watch everything being made. We had the meatballs, stuffed mushrooms, garlic knots, and tomato/mozz as appetizers, which were all great. Also got 4 different kinds of pizzas, which they let us make some customizations to. They handled 100 guests with ease, with pizza coming out constantly so that there was always some fresh there. Would definitely recommend!!

The food was amazing but what really blew me away was the amazing staff. My entire party absolutely loved this and had the best time. of Fire did not disappoint! Silar, and his team, were a dream to work with and answered every question that I had with concern and professionalism. I could not have asked for a better caterer. The food was incredibly wonderful and such a different menu selection. The evening went off without a hitch and everything went smoothly. They were wonderful to work with. We had so many compliments that evening and weeks afterwards. We are trying to find time to travel and track down King of Fire to enjoy another awesome meal. I truly can’t say enough about them!
