A former kQ bride, now a happily hitched, Mrs. Fox once said “Communicate what you want. Hire people you trust & get out of their way. Make sure you do your homework, figure out what it is you want or at least a direction & communicate that to your vendors…nobody knows what it is you want unless you tell them.”

placement or centerpieces. It was gorgeous. Her work is beyond just flowers it comes with her knowledge of events decor, the flow, table placement layout. Kerry is above and beyond she will take a load of the work off your hands with Grace and Elegance.
Kerry to my clippings from garden magazines and print outs of images that had nothing to do with flowers and made my floral vision come to life.
My husband and I recently eloped in Hatcher Pass, Alaska. We were lucky enough to have Kerry Quade of Girdwood Grown as our florist and our witness. Kerry took the time to learn ...
about us so that she could personalize my bouquet and my husband’s boutonniere. Kerry grows many of her own flowers, and supplements them with other local flowers to make absolutely gorgeous arrangements. Before our trip to Alaska, Kerry inquired about our preferences and favorite flowers. I’m no expert, so Kerry got to know our interests and favorite colors. She considered what we were wearing and the vibe we envisioned for our ceremony. What Kerry thoughtfully created ended up being perfect. In addition to her floral contributions, having Kerry as one of the witnesses for our elopement was amazing. She was a perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness. Kerry made us laugh, held my bouquet and jacket, and took photos with my phone. We are so grateful, and we highly recommend Kerry and her services.
The most amazing bouquet from a true Alaskan florist. Compiled from a mixture of traditional flowers (i.e. roses) and Alaskan natural beauties, it was a fabulous surprise to see Ke...

I cannot say enough about Kerry's creativity and taste level! Her flower arrangements are the most beautiful that I have ever seen! Her arrangements are the perfect combo of wild, ...

s to the decor. Her attention to detail is unmatched! The bordeaux red bridal bouquet she created for me was so unique and utilized all my favorite flowers in such harmony - it was incredible! Her calm and grace amidst the hectic wedding timeline was so appreciated and I would choose her for any and every event I plan in the future.
Kerry is the best! She thought through every detail of our big day and executed it to perfection. The flowers were exactly what we were looking for, but didn't know how to ask for!...
Plus, her table decor and additional finishing touches went above and beyond. She also gave us recommendations for other local vendors, all of whom were great.
I'd highly recommend her for any wedding or event - both for decor and planning. She is truly a delight to work with!
kerry quade provided the floral arrangments for our September wedding at Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. I was apprehensive about committing budget to flowers - we were getting married ...
in a botanic garden after all - but when the actual day came, I was SOOO glad we had the flowers and I was so pleased with kerry quade's arrangments.
In my experience, everything is pretty theoretical when talking about floral arrangements - the florists that we interviewed had portfolios, but all of the good ones will tell you that they can't guarantee that the arrangements for your day will be the same - it will depend on the season and what is actually blooming at the time. kerry gave us a detailed description of what she was planning based on our discussion of our colors and themes, but otherwise, we really left the process up to her.
When we first entered the pavilion and saw the flowers, they were amazing - everything was so beautiful - and then the waterworks started. I couldn't believe how wonderfully the arrangments had turned out, and I couldn't help but cry because it was one more perfect surprise on the best day of my life. I've told my wife that if I ever do finally take the plunge and get a sleeve, I want the focal point to be the flowers from our wedding day.
Kerry designed and provided the decor and flowers for my son's wedding this past July at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. But she did ever so much more than that. Throughout the plann...
ing process she patiently listened as we described our thoughts and ideas and then magically turned our rambling into an amazing environment that perfectly reflected those ideas. No small feat. She went completely above and beyond by volunteering to come to our pre-wedding walk-through at the venue which proved invaluable. Her talents are only matched by her lovely personality which make planning with her a true joy. Thanks so much Kerry!!!!
Kerry did the flowers for our April wedding and it was a pleasure to work with her. She was knowledgeable and reassuring as we waded into the world of flower arrangement and table ...
design, things we were relatively ignorant about. She was helpful in identifying ways to economize without compromising the overall look of the room and we trusted she would make everything look great and she absolutely delivered. Kerry was responsible and professional and I wholeheartedly recommend her.
Kerry is really nice and easy to work with. I don't really know anything about flowers at all, but she made it so easy to choose things that I like. She came up with a plan that ...
was really lovely, but a little out of our price range. We made a few suggestions that we thought could bring down the cost a little bit, she took those under consideration and came up with an even better plan! She even helped us choose our table linens. On the big day everything looked absolutely beautiful and I could not have been happier!
Kerry went above and beyond to help me achieve the look I was going for. She met me in person several times at no extra charge, created a wonderful scheme that she detailed for me ...
and executed perfectly, and she arrived early the day of to get everything together in plenty of time. She designed much more than my flowers, and was a huge asset. Her work exceeded my hopes, and she was very pleasant to work with - I would highly recommend her to any bride.
