About this vendor
Hey there! I'm Kenzie, I’m the main photographer and owner of Kenzie Rae Photography. I can’t really remember the moment I decided I wanted to be a photographer… but I think it was when I was about 5 years old. All I remember is having this hot pink Barbie branded Polaroid camera that I carried with me almost everywhere we went. I took photos of my pets, family & even held photoshoots for all my dolls… from there I progressed into point & shoot digital cameras (still hot pink) & received my first DSLR camera at the age of 13. Even then I never really thought it would be my career, it was just something I really loved doing. Fast forward to now, I still really enjoy photography and it’s still CRAZY to me that I make a living off doing something I enjoy & something that brings so much joy to my clients as well as their families & friends. I truly never feel like I am working & for that I am truly blessed.
I currently live in sunny New Smyrna Beach, Florida, though I offer services nationwide. My favorite thing about living in Florida is all the beautiful locations we have to use year round… oh and that sunshine! Your girl loves good lighting.

Kenzie was absolutely amazing. We eloped in Banff and did the most basic package she offered (Elopement Photography at 2 hours). She answered every text and email within a reasonab...
le time; she was very knowledgeable about the area (Banff), and made our day very special! It was everything we wanted for our small Elopment. She got our sneak peeks the very next morning and is currently working on getting us more of our wedding day photos. From the sneak peeks alone, we can tell the quality is amazing. She was able to get every angle, and we truley did not notice her as she snuck around.
I would highly recommend working with Kenzie!
We could not be more disappointed with Kenzie. We should have known from the start that we should not have hired her when she didn’t communicate as to why she didn’t take our first...
meeting. She said she was sick, which, to be fair, happens to all of us, but it was our first red flag. We entered into a contract with Kenzie and set a date for our engagement photos, on May 30th, 2025. We were promised to receive all of our pictures within a month of the shoot. As of today, March 10th, 2026, we have still not received all of the photos from our engagement shoot. We received our sneak peek, and that was it. Kenzie completely ghosted us after the engagement shoot and has never responded to numerous text, email, phone call, or Instagram messages. We can see that she’s been active on Instagram, so we know that she’s still been getting business and is still working. I want to make clear, in no uncertain terms, that my wife and I have never dealt with someone so unprofessional and is so poor at communicating. I would leave zero stars if I could because we never received all that we paid for. I would urge anyone who’s looking for a photographer to look literally anywhere else.
While we did eventually receive our wedding video and most of the promised files (though never the USB drive), our experience with Kenzie Rae Photography was deeply disappointing.
...
Our wedding took place in early December, and we didn’t receive our footage until May; far beyond the contracted delivery date and only after many unreturned messages. During this time, she remained active on social media and continued posting other clients’ work, without offering us so much as an update. That silence made the lack of communication feel personal rather than circumstantial.
Even after she finally replied and gave us a new delivery date, that date passed without follow-up. We had to reach out again to receive a YouTube link to our footage.
On the wedding day itself, camera issues caused extensive delays, which led to missed photo opportunities for our photographer. Only one videographer attended, though our agreement was two.
Although we paid a discounted rate as she was building her portfolio, it felt like we were treated as a practice project rather than paying clients deserving of professionalism and respect.
When the WeTransfer link she provided wouldn’t work on our PCs, we tried multiple times to arrange for the promised USB drive, offering to pick it up ourselves or send prepaid postage, but those messages were ignored and remain unanswered. We ultimately had to spend $70 on an external hard drive just to access our footage.
This experience caused a great deal of unnecessary stress. It felt as though our wedding simply wasn’t a priority. We truly hope future clients have a better experience, but we personally would not recommend Kenzie Rae Photography for videography services.
Thrilled to have her and Sydney working with us. Loved that there were calls to make sure all the things that we wanted and the shits that were important. Loved my previews, they ...
made tear up cause it is exactly what I wanted. Can’t compliment them enough. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
We can not recommend Kenzie enough! She is so understanding, down to earth, and overall such a good time. My husband was dreading taking pictures but Kenzie made the experience so ...
fun and enjoyable that it completely changed his opinion. I think it’s so important that your photographer makes you feel comfortable and she did just that! Also, the quality and turn around time of the edited pictures was phenomenal! Highly highly recommend.
Kenzie is simply the BEST! We loved her from our first phone call. Her vibrant, funny, and loving personality is contagious. Kenzie made planning a wedding out of state easy. On th...
e day of our wedding, pictures ran smoothly and
all of our wedding party complimented her on organization, professionalism and ability to let loose on the dance floor. Kenzie made my husband and I feel comfortable posing and captured stunning candids of our special day. Literally the next day, we woke up to a “sneak peak” of our day….each picture was perfection! We are in LOVE with our wedding photos they are everything we could imagine plus more. Kenzie’s style is timeless, beautiful and magical. We loved her work so much we booked her (gifted) friends “family photos” for their anniversary. Kenzie is an amazing photographer! We look forward to continuing to work with her in the future.
Words cannot express how amazing Kenzie is to work with. If I could give her an infinite amount of stars, I would! It was very apparent from the first moment I spoke with her, she ...
is an expert in her craft. Not only is she skilled with the photographs she takes, but she is also great with connecting with those she photographs and interacts with. She has such a great energy about her that is so infectious that it will make any session and/or wedding inherently the best time ever! She will truly be your BFF BEHIND THE LENS! For sure would recommend her to anyone!
Kenzie is by far the best photographer you could ever hire, LOOK NO FURTHER! Not only are her photographs absolutely magical, but her personality is so upbeat, fun, and colorful. W...
e had our engagement shoot(s) [weather was a fun challenge for us - lol] done over a year before the wedding, and this really helped us get a feel on how to be comfortable in front of a camera together. The day of the wedding, Kenzie was beautifully organized, and did all the tough love yelling for us. We just got our full album back, and we are absolutely in love with the photos. Now we'll be able to relive our wedding day over and over again. Beautiful!! Thank you Kenzie!
Kenzie’s catchphrase is “Your BFF behind the lens” and let me tell you, it could not be any more true. Not only is she your hype girl and confidante, she is the first person on the...
dance floor and can definitely get the party started!!!! Working with Kenzie couldn’t be easier, she is always there to answer questions, wedding related or not! Kenzie makes it easy to be comfortable in front of the camera, offering lots of fun and interesting prompts. All of the photos are incredible, and we will definitely be using Kenzie for any future photos. 💖💛

She was easy to communicate with and shows great pride in her work. Kenzie is truly an artist of her craft and is on top of all of the current trends in photography. I 100% recommended Kenzie to help any bride and groom create their vision.
Kenzie is a fun outgoing, forward thinking individual and very creative with shots. We will continue to use Kenzie for family photos, professional photos and any or all of our photography needs! Kenzie is a breath of fresh air in the Daytona market and her work absolutely speaks for itself. 🎤 #micdrop
Kenzie is beyond amazing. We originally had another photographer for our wedding and after our engagement photos we were a little disappointed. We then saw some pictures of Kenzie'...
s through our vendor. We instantly contacted her and booked her within a week. Her pictures are stunning. She not only knows how to pose you and make you look incredible but she makes sure you have so much fun and makes you feel comfortable. Kenzie has done our engagement photos, our first wedding ceremony (thanks COVID) and she just did our big wedding/ anniversary. Thank you Kenzie for being with us and capturing our journey in such a beautiful way.
Kenzie is truly a game changer in the wedding industry! The creativity, passion, personality, and professionalism demonstrated by Kenzie and her team is off the charts. When my hus...
band and I were forced to change our wedding from April to September due to COVID-19, Kenzie was hands on with compassion and flexibility which was appreciated in more ways than I can describe in this review. Kenzie’s approach to photography is so comfortable and creative! She is consistently thinking outside the box and is willing to try just about anything to get a unique shot! If you are looking for a photographer who truly takes the time to get to know you and uses that knowledge and relationship to create BEAUTIFUL photos, Kenzie with Kenzie Rae Photography is your gal! We can’t wait to see her again real soon for our Tree Farm session with our pup.
I don't even know where to begin with how amazing Kenzie has been to us. From meeting us halfway (we live two hours from Ormond Beach area) for our consultation last year. Taking u...
s to multiple locations for our engagement photos. Helping us to not look awkward and laugh during our photo sessions. To being there for us when our original wedding date got postponed because of covid and letting me ball my eyes out with her on the phone. Kenzie kept in touch with us through the whole re-planning of our wedding and even sent us the sweetest "pick me up" box with a candle to cheer us up. Our wedding day was pretty hectic but perfect, Kenzie and her second shooter were amazing to work with and easy going with all the craziness. I couldn't believe how many pictures were in the sneak peek the day after the wedding and how beautiful they all are. We absolutely cannot wait to see the rest of the pictures and can't wait for another shoot with the amazing Kenzie Rae! Thank you Thank you Thank you, we love you Kenzie!

Kenzie was amazing during the wedding planning process when we literally changed our entire wedding including the date 6 weeks before the date. Her pictures are amazing, she was ve...
ry flexible, and honestly a great time to have at the wedding too!
Kenzie exceeded our expectations. Not only is she an amazing photographer but she makes the whole experience fun and not awkward. We first had our engagement photos done, and both ...
myself and now husband were nervous. She was able to ease our worries and make everything go so smoothly. The day of my wedding couldn’t have gone more smoothly. I felt that everything was handled and Kenzie made sure that I felt like a real life princess. She captured everything so perfectly and I am do glad we chose her. Our photos turned out perfect.
From the moment Kenzie called me for a consult, we instantly clicked and became friends. She made our engagement shoot a great experience and our dog is not always easy to work wit...
h! Kenzie is always down to try anything, as she told me "anything for my clients." We put Kenzie through alot with COVID, we rescheduled our wedding 3 times and everytime Kenzie was always on board! On our wedding day it rained and poured, but that didn't stop Kenzie from getting beautiful photos. She captured the most beautifully detailed photos of our wedding. If you are looking for a photographer or are on the fence, book Kenzie! I would 100% recommend her.
I’ve known Kenzie since college and ever since she did my fabulous senior portraits I’ve had her be my go-to photographer. She shot my sister’s wedding, and when I got engaged she ...
was the first vendor I reached out to. After an engagement shoot where she met my fiancé, she had both of us comfortable, no small task since my fiancé is a bit photo shy. The night before the wedding we had a tropical storm blow through, we were running late and the power went off in the church during the ceremony, but nothing phased her and her assistant. While my fiancé and I broke down laughing at the power loss along with our guests, she was getting great shots. I’m a big Star Wars fan and Kenzie made a point of getting some special shots, and she killed it capturing our lightsaber arch. I haven’t seen all of the photos yet, but the massive sample batch already nearly had me in tears remembering the day. I can’t recommend her enough.
Kenzie is absolutely wonderful! I found her when looking for an engagement photo photographer. I fell in love with her light and airy style. She was flexible and had great ideas of...
engagement photo locations. Both my fiancé and I enjoyed working with her on that day. We appreciated her creativity, direction, and willingness to walk around and try anything. We also loved, loved, loved the photos. It was a no brainer to choose her again for our wedding photographer.
I then got to do a boudoir shoot with her before the wedding. She made me feel confident and calm throughout the entire experience. It was an experience I was wary about but ended up loving!
And finally, our wedding day was captured perfectly by her. She arrived early for detail shots and had great ideas when it started raining. She captured every moment and every detail in the style we love and with amazing professionalism. I could not recommend Kenzie any more. She is sweet, kind, fun, and a talented photographer!
From the moment my husband and I met Kenzie, we knew that she would perfect. Not only is her portfolio full of beautiful photos but she is so down to earth and very personable. My ...
engagement and wedding photos were both done by her and I get many compliments saying that we look like we are out of a magazine. Amazing is one word to describe how great she is!!
WE FIRST USED KENZIE FOR OUR ENGAGEMENT SHOOT AND SHE IMMEDIATELY WON ME OVER. SHE IS SO KIND AND CONSIDERATE TO HER CLIENTS NEEDS AND WANTS. SHE MADE US FEEL SO COMFORTABLE. WE TH...
EN USED HER FOR OUR WEDDING DAY AND SHE WAS EVEN MORE AMAZING! SHE KNEW JUST THE RIGHT MOMENTS TO CAPTURE AND WAS EXTREMELY PATIENT. I’VE ALWAYS ADMIRED HER WORK AND SEEING OUR PICTURES FROM BOTH SHOOTS, JUST PROVES HOW AMAZING SHE IS AT WHAT SHE DOES. SHE MADE MY PINTEREST WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY BOARD COME TO TO LIFE! I WOULD RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE AND WE CAN’T WAIT TO DO MORE SHOOTS WITH HER IN THE FUTURE! PLUS- DO YOU KNOW ANOTHER PHOTOGRAPHER WHO WOULD BRING YOU A COTTON CANDY BANG BEFORE THE CEREMONY!? I DO! 😉
Kenzie is one of the most talented wedding photographers out there! My husband and I have loved her work since we found her and she certainly did not disappoint. Kenzie is very att...
entive to making sure each person in the photo looks and feels their best. Her eye for getting a great picture is impressive and her personality makes it a very easy and fun experience. I am so in love with our “sneak peaks” which she always delivers the day of the shoot, I am beyond excited to see the rest. Thank you Kenzie!
Oh Kenzie!! You are such a wonderful person, inside and out!

t shoot, we had our dogs with us. We forgot to bring treats for them, but Kenzie had some already in her car! (This helped their poses lol) She allowed us to take her to the middle of no where, almost an hour away from her location, to shoot just what we wanted. Her little tricks to get us to really react to each other are priceless. She took the pressure off of us and we had a blast shooting with her!
For our wedding, she captured all of the moments that I really wanted. Not only are her pictures beautiful, she works well with others. Let me tell you, she had to deal with two stubborn and loud families that day and she KILLED IT! Now, I've only seen the sneak peaks from our wedding (it was shot 3 days ago) but from what I can tell, they are PERFECT!) Not to mention the fact that I woke up the day after the wedding, 7:30am, to the sneak peaks already finished!
Kenzie, WE LOVE YOU! I can't wait for you to shoot whatever else we have in store 😉
Kenzie was incredible, I can not recommend her enough. Due to having a destination wedding we met her the first time the morning of our wedding. Not only did she make my husband an...
d I comfortable on our wedding day, she took incredible, gorgeous photos that we will cherish forever. The cherry on top was that she fit in so perfectly with our small group of family and friends. You can not go wrong with Kenzie. I wish we lived on the same side of the country so I could hire her for future photo sessions.
I have worked with Kenzie on a number of occasions from the dating stages of my relationship with my wife all the way up to our marriage. She has photographed us outdoors, in theat...
res and in our wedding venue which was a pretty unique lighting situation and we’ve never had less than superb results.
In the case of our wedding she knew exactly what she needed to do for best results and didn’t need any guidance or assistance from us, which made the day so stress free which is exactly what you want on your wedding day.
Unlike some other photographers, she will do things like prompting you with questions or actions to get natural reactions in those potentially awkward posed shots, and always really goes an extra mile to get the great photos you want.
We have been surprised every time by how excellent she has been with capturing our love on camera and documenting our special moments and I would absolutely recommend hiring her. Plus, she’s always up for a destination wedding so location is never an issue. She’s a pro and I’ll definitely be recommeding her to friends and hiring her myself for other events.
Kenzie did a phenomenal job at our wedding & our engagement shoot! She’s very personable and very genuine! Loved our time with her and looking forward to booking her for future sho...

rves before capturing the perfect photos. She was brilliant enough to photograph my wedding and her attention to detail was something that stood out. Our accessories/behind the scenes shots captured us perfectly and our ceremony shots were the perfect framing and show of our love. Kenzie saw past the frills and traditions for wedding and made something perfect for us.
