I cannot recommend Erika enough! She is amazing! I came to her through a referral from an old friend and it was like we were besties from the start! She made me so comfortable at m...
y hair trial as I really had no idea what I was doing planning my wedding. I explained what was in my head and she just ran with it. I LOVED my hair! When it came to the wedding she was equally as amazing. Last minute bridesmaid additions, 4 different particular bridesmaids hair styles. She just absolutely blew me away with her skill, professionalism and kindness. it was really like all my girls in one room just hanging out, doing hair and makeup!
Erika did my hair and makeup for my wedding, and she did an excellent job! She brought lots of fun energy into my apartment bright early to get me, my bridesmaids, and my mom get r...
eady before my big day. She was very communicative leading up, and she listened to anything I wanted changed and left me blown away by the results! Would highly recommend.
I have known Erika for a few years now and had been going to her for cut and color. I had an updo done by her once (which I loved!) and my sister in law had always raved about how ...
well she does wedding hair too, so I decided to also book her for our wedding. These reviews are for both!
- Cut and color - Trust that she really knows what she's doing! I've done highlights with her and have gone back to her when I decided to go dark again, she does everything to perfection. Of course her cuts are also awesome and she knows exactly what the client wants, checks in with you throughout the process. I remember once the color didn't come out exactly how I wanted it and I was dreading having to complain/say something, but when I told her about it, she was super nice and reasonable. Fixed it and made it perfect again, made me feel really comfortable with the whole process/didn't make me feel like I was being unreasonable with my request. Not only is she great at doing hair technique wise, but she also knows how to give great customer service to her clients. Also, hanging out with her during the appointment is always fun and she knows how to make conversation with anyone! I literally look forward to seeing her for my appointments because she's genuinely a joy to be around.
During COVID, everything has been beyond clean. Hand sanitizer everywhere, temperature checks, spraying everything between clients and enforcing masks. She makes you feel extra safe.
- Wedding hair - From the above review, you can tell I am really a fan of her! Decided to book her and one of her second stylists for our wedding. When our wedding was postponed due to COVID, she was again super easy to work with and made the process stress free. I did a trial with her, which I highly recommend to any bride. She did everything with the hair piece, veil and jewelry. She also recommended getting an additional hair piece, which I'm really happy I did. Even though I went with a different hair style at the last minute, the trial was still great and I highly recommend it. For the actual wedding day, Erika and her second stylist were on time and ready to go! On the day of the wedding, I showed her the style I wanted as I was sitting in the chair and she did a perfect job on the spot - my hair and tiara stayed all day/night. They did not waste a second and we actually finished earlier than anticipated. Everyone loved their hair and it stayed all night despite the warm weather and all of the sweating and dancing.
Highly highly recommend!!!
Erika was amazing. For my trial, I came in generally knowing what I wanted, but she modified and tried new things and made sure I was even more happy when I left than before I came...
in. The morning of my wedding she was prompt, courteous, and FAST- I have no idea how she did such flawless work on so many people (7!) in just a few hours! I would absolutely work with her again in a heartbeat. Thanks =)
I just want to take the time so say Thank you to Erika and her amazing team. What a great experience we all had wow is all I can say all my girl and my self look and feel fabulous ...
my wedding hair and make was just what I wanted I love love my pictures đ
I loved my hair at my trial, which was at least 6 or 7 months before my wedding. I was a little worried my "hair person" would forget my style or just do something totally differe...
nt on my wedding day, but that didn't happen! My style wasn't complicated, and I had more things to worry about than hair. On my big day, I had the same flowing curls - pinned and sprayed without being stiff - and accommodating my veil and sparkly comb perfectly! I thought it looked great! It held up really well and I felt so beautiful! Erika was great to work with - super friendly and helped me stay relaxed on wedding day! Wish I lived closer to her studio to visit for regular hair appointments!
Erika was a pleasure to work with! She did hair for me, three of my bridesmaids, and my mother-in-law. We all loved her work. I had an idea of what kind of updo I wanted, but it on...
ly showed one side, so Erika had to be creative and make the other side compliment the style I wanted. She was super friendly, professional, on-time, and reasonably priced. She doesnât require that you bring the Bobby pins back from the trial, but she does appreciate it! :) I would highly recommend her if youâre looking for a hairstylist for your event!
