I was first introduced to Katy from my best friend’s engagement and wedding photos back in 2023. Since I saw those photos, I knew that Katy would have to be my wedding photographer one day! The day I got engaged, I reached out to Katy and practically begged her to shoot our engagement and wedding photos, without even having a wedding date set. How LUCKY were we to have Katy available for both of those days. Katy is professional, kind, flexible, and so caring. She was willing to adapt to anything we needed for our big day, and was able to make us feel so comfortable during photos! She sends photos in a timely manner, and even sends a huge amount of sneak peeks. I LOVE all of our photos so much and am so grateful for the work Katy puts into her practice. She is truly such a talented photographer.

Our wedding was large, very cultural, and full of moving parts, and Katy handled it all beautifully. While our photos did take a bit longer than expected to be delivered, Katy was communicative and incredibly generous—she went above and beyond by gifting us a free maternity session, which meant so much to us and speaks volumes about her character and care for her clients. When it came to the wedding day, Katy and her partner took great care of us and made sure to get photos of everyone in attendance. While looking through our gallery, we saw so many moments that we don't even remember from the flurry of the wedding day and we are so thankful she and her partner were able to capture those memories so we have them forever. We highly recommend her for anyone, especially people who may feel uncomfortable having a ton of their photos taken (that was us!) because Katy makes it feel natural and easy, and ensures everyone is comfortable. As someone who never knows how to pose, she makes you feel comfortable immediately and makes sure you have fun from the first photo to the last. not sure how we were lucky enough for her to be free that weekend. From the very first call we had, she was patient and flexible. Her prices are very reasonable and she genuinely cares that your pictures turn out exactly as you imagined. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, we went over the schedule, my photo inspo, and other wedding weekend logistics. And the days of the hennah party and wedding, she had such a calming presence. We shared our pictures with family overseas and everyone reacted to how well the photos turned out. Looking at the pictures and seeing everyone’s expressions, expressions in moments that we missed or have forgotten since that day, helped us relive the happiest day of our lives. I’m not sure I would want to plan another wedding again, but if I did, I’d hire Katy again in a heartbeat.
