KB Confections

and careful attention to detail made it feel like our own family was baking our wedding cake, if our family happened to be expert pastry chefs!   — A special thank you to Amy, who took our order and made the process a joy, carefully capturing every detail of what we wanted. I shared photos of my vision, Karen guided the design, and her talented team brought it to life, working with our florist, Brown Pleasance Florists, to finish the cake with fresh flowers. It was everything I envisioned, only better. It's rare for a cake to look that stunning and taste that good. Weeks later, guests are still bringing up, unprompted, how delicious it was. So many people went back for more that there wasn't even a layer left to freeze for our anniversary!    —KB also came up with a fun, creative solution for dietary restrictions: gluten-free dot cakes. They were so good that guests with and without restrictions were raving about them.    —On the day itself, Karen personally got our cake to the venue through hail, closed roads, and a Browns rain delay, with backup plans for her backup plans. That's the kind of "whatever it takes" commitment you'd expect from family, not from a bakery that had only just met us. From our side, it was completely seamless.    — We'll be back for a fresh anniversary cake, and for any occasion, we recommend KB Confections without hesitation. If you're in Cleveland and want a cake that tastes every bit as good as it looks, made by a team that will care for you like family and do whatever it takes to deliver, this is your bakery!

the staff and the treats are amazing! 10/10 recommend!!

s and all of their treats and coffees are always excellent, we recommend them to all of our friends and family.

ed were delicious, my favorite being the brownies. We saved what we had remaining (which was not much because they were such a hit) and they were just as good the next day! You could also tell they put a lot of care into the cake. Even though we asked for a small, very plain vanilla cake with buttercream frosting, it was extremely tasty. We can’t thank them enough for everything they did for us on our wedding day!

ve and beyond! I highly recommend using them for your wedding or event when it comes to desserts! We opted out of the traditional cake option for our wedding and instead ordered a plethora of mini desserts from KB. They did NOT disappoint. We've been married for about 2 months now, and I honestly still have guests bringing up our desserts and asking me who I used for our dessert vendor. We worked with Karen at the shop and she helped us get everything ordered for our big day. Please give them a shot- they are well worth it and are very affordable compared to some other local spots!

utely beautiful and they handled the set up and delivery as well. We are excited to enjoy the top tier on our first wedding anniversary that we saved!!

owd pleaser! They can do lots of designs, but we chose simple, timeless perfection 💕 would recommend!

hey were kind and accommodating. Also the shop is so cute and would definitely make it a priority to just stop by for some pastries!

heart cake and it was an absolute hit! Cannot recommend them enough.

th taste and how beautiful it was!

and very memorable. Our wedding cake was exactly what we wanted, and we were able to ask for gluten free cupcakes also. Thanks so much, we will be ordering again soon!

ns was phenomenal. We ended up choosing multiple flavors of cupcakes and cakes for our wedding, and our guests loved the variety — there was something for everyone! The entire process was seamless. The team at KB Confections was so easy to work with — friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful in bringing our ideas to life. They listened to what we wanted and delivered desserts that were not only beautiful but tasted amazing. To top it all off, they were very affordable, especially considering the quality and service we received. We’re so happy we chose them for our wedding day and would recommend them to anyone looking for incredible wedding desserts!

perfectly captured the flavors we wanted, and their attention to detail made each treat feel extra special. We reviewed numerous bakeries in the area who had strict rules, poor communication and unaccomodating. KB Confections actually listened to our needs, were excellent communicators, and delivered both the desserts and on flavor. They were professional and punctual, ensuring everything was delivered and set up flawlessly. The dessert table was a true highlight of our reception, and we couldn’t be happier with their work. If you’re looking for a bakery to elevate your special occasion, we wholeheartedly recommend KB Confections!

Red Velved. KB communicated with us frequently and we were able to provide decorations to the cake they were able to put on and add to that tied into our fall theme. Everything was perfect. Not only is KB confections a cake vendor but it is also an adorable little coffee spot across from St. Eds that we will definitely return for work endeavors. We strongly recommend.

peak with. She lead is in the direction of ordering the cake tasting box and gave great recommendations. They delivered the cake to our venue and offered to decorate it with florals left by our florist. It was so delicious and beautiful for our day! We were so pleased!

actly what I pictured, and tasted great! We got rave reviews from many of our guests as well.

e. Our guests were raving about how delicious it was. We didn’t have any leftovers because people kept going back for more!

and sent them inspiration pictures. Our cake turned out exactly as we imagined and tasted amazing!

ght and everyone was complimenting the cake. I brought flowers with me to the venue and they added them to the cake when it was delivered, which was very convenient.

favorite dessert for our wedding to share with our friends and family!

large cake. Karen made this process so easy and the price for cake and delivery was great. I also didn’t get a chance to try the cake at our wedding, but our parents saved some to freeze and it was still amazing two weeks later. Lastly, we used the KB Confections greenhouse for my bridal shower and it was so dreamy.

ests loved, loved the cake’s moisture, flavor, and artistry!

elicious!! I would also highly recommend there macaroons which are honestly the best I’ve ever had. Thank you KB confections for being very easy to work with and having an excellent and smooth execution. I would not hesitate to order here again for future events.

al order. Our cake was beautiful and guests raved about the flavor! We could not be happier with their service and highly recommend them for any event needs!

ul! Thank you so much to KB Confections for making that component of our big day smooth and easy!

o the ultimate end product (red velvet with cream cheese frosting--- 1000/10 recommend), we were blown away. In addition to her fabulous baking skills, Karen is easy to communicate with, incredibly responsive, and extremely organized. We're saving the top tier of our cake for our first anniversary and are excited to get to experience this culinary delight all over again then!

Highly recommend!

emely hard to decide on cake flavors and fillings, as there were so many great options; we decided on almond and red velvet, with cookies and cream filling! We had sent in our desired cake design and the cake we received on our wedding day was even better than expected!

ests!

so he was eating it by the spoonful from the sample cup! What really was the deciding factor was that this man absolutely despises raspberry and almond flavors, but he LOVED the almond cake and raspberry filling from this bakery! Aside from that, Karen was amazing to work with! She responds quickly, she listens to what he clients want, and delivers a beautiful product! I am happy to say the cake was a huge hit at our wedding! I highly recommend this bakery!!

e was classic vanilla with buttercream frosting and it was DELICIOUS. We wanted a relatively simple design with some live flowers and a naked cake and KB created the exact look I had been envisioning. We also got extra cupcakes for gluten free guests and those were equally popular. Highly recommend using KB for any bakery needs!

ped, and were super nice to work with. We highly recommend as they cake was tasty and beautiful and they were great to work with!

n them! I’ve had cupcakes from them before, and they gave us this adorable kit to try out wedding cake samples. Very practical solution to a covid related problem! Karen listened to our ideas and made sure to clarify exactly what we wanted. And the cake was soooooo good. We got the raspberry filling in between a layer of chocolate cake and a layer of almond cake with the buttercream frosting. Highly recommend!!! I cannot speak for the prices, as it was included in our contract, but I personally would have paid big bucks for our awesome wedding cake!

cake. Their prices were very reasonable. Honestly this was the best chocolate cake I’ve probably ever had. We also got lemon crème/vanilla cake and strawberries & crème/vanilla cake, also delicious. But the chocolate cake was the deciding factor. Can’t say enough. Would highly recommend!
