lanning process, on the day, and in the events after! We received our images in a few weeks, and her professionalism was unmatched! We can't wait to use her for future photo sessions when our family grows!

hotos which turned out beautiful and we absolutely loved them! HOWEVER, our engagement pictures took longer for her to get back to us due to her kids being sick. We were understanding of that and booked her for our wedding because we loved the pictures. During the planning process she was very on top of it however getting our pictures/video back for the wedding was not easy. We had to contact her multiple times and every time she had an excuse. There would be months where she did not get back to us. When she finally did get back to us 6 months later with some of the pictures they had smudges in them and other peoples faces in the pictures. She was also missing some of the portrait pictures. When we reached out again she did fix them eventually and said she will make us a book for being so patient. We are now 10 months out from the wedding and have not heard from her despite reaching out multiple times. As per the contract you are also supposed to receive a USB of all your pictures that we never got. At month 7 we did receive our wedding video and the videographer did apologize and let us know he never received the songs we requested in our video and was waiting to hear from our photographer. I just want everyone to be aware because no one needs this added stress of not getting your wedding pictures/video.
First off, Kaylyn was amazing! She brought 2 other photographers that were super friendly and they all worked really well together. Their energy was so welcoming and they were all ...
so kind. They made us feel very comfortable - there wasn't any awkwardness throughout the day. Kaylyn kept checking on us and making sure we were okay. It was a great experience. We loved having them!!
Kaylyn was amazing to work with! We are in love with how our engagement photos turned out from last July and we can’t wait to see our wedding photos!
Went above and beyond to get us the most perfect pictures! Cannot wait to get the final results.
Words cannot express how special Kaylyn made our day. She went above and beyond what was asked as a photographer and basically took care of us the entire day. She is a natural at w...
hat she does with a calm laid back presence that made everything so easy. We already received preview photos and they have just left us speechless. On a day that started out with a lot of nerves and not knowing what to expect, we felt like we left the day with a new friend. 5 stars isn't a high enough rating for how much she is truly worth!
We clicked with Kaylyn right from the beginning and knew immediately that she was the photographer for us! I could tell from right off the bat how genuine and passionate she is abo...
ut her work. Her creative nature & personality makes her so easy to get along with. From our engagement shoot to our wedding day, she was always willing to try new things and gave us different recommendations for poses. We’re both camera shy, but she made it easy to feel comfortable. On my wedding day, anytime I’d get overwhelmed, Kaylyn helped me snap back into reality and focus on my day. She also brought along Marianne as our second photographer who was a sweetheart and very helpful. Not to mention, we got our sneak peek within 48 hours and haven’t stopped receiving compliments at how beautiful the pictures are. Kaylyn is talented, kind, silly, and all around a wonderful photographer and human being. I highly recommend her to all.
When my husband and I first became engaged, we decided that we had wanted a very simple small non traditional wedding, with the exception of our photographer. WHen we began looking...
, everyone was nice enough but no one made me feel really comfortable like they understood what we were looking for. From the moment I reached out to Kaylyn both my husband and myself felt instant comfort and connection. She listened to my feelings, asked us about who we were as individuals and our story as a couple. I immediately knew that she was who i wanted taking pictures and capturing the best day of my life. The day of our wedding came, she was on time, she was focused, she took charge (while remaining respectful). Through out the whole day she remained with my family, my husband and myself. Kaylyn is professional, kind, focused and a brides best friend. I was honored to have her there not as a photographer but as a friend. And of course most importantly, the end result was above anything i could have imagined for myself. Her creative vision is that of someone very talented.
Thank you Kaylyn for being as special and the photographs you take,.

or our October 2017 wedding. While searching for a wedding photographer, we came across her website and really admired how she focuses on capturing natural, beautiful moments. We really appreciated how she took the time to get to know us, so by the time it came for our engagement pictures we would be comfortable. On our wedding day, we did not have to worry about a thing! She did amazing with making sure we stuck to our timeline while getting all of the family portraits we wanted. She worked seamlessly with our Church, venue, and DJs. Our wedding went so smoothly, and we know Kaylyn played a huge part in making that happen!! You can tell how passionate she is about her job and making sure your wedding photos are beautiful!! Thank-you Kaylyn!
On your wedding day your photographer is your biggest advocate, your best friend, and your confidant. At least that’s what they should be and that’s exactly what Kaylyn was for us....
We started off with an out of this world Liberty State Park engagement session that blew these two Brooklyn natives away. Neither my husband or I are very comfortable in front of a camera but you never would have guessed with the images we received. As the wedding got closer Kaylyn sat us down to let us know there would be some big changes happening, she was pregnant and was due right around the time of our wedding! Leading up to our wedding she still made us feel incredibly important even with her world changing so quickly. She helped me with a timeline and gave some of the best advice I received throughout the planning process. She is kind, genuine, honest and dedicated to her craft. The wedding day Kaylyn was unfortunately not up for being the main shooter for our wedding though, she was present the entire day assisting, second shooting, and shot majority of my bridal portraits. While we are absolutely in love with our photos and cannot wait to proudly display them in our home I also cannot wait to have another shoot with Kaylyn behind the camera the whole time. Chemistry is so important and she just knows how to be goofy and help her clients feel so comfortable the entire time. If we had to do it over I would hire Kaylyn Ivy Photography every time, hands down.
Kaylyn and her colleague we’re like part of the family on our wedding day. She is incredibly talented, artistic, and pays great attention to detail. She met with us at a Starbucks ...
(nearly 9 months pregnant!) 6 months before our wedding date. She took the time to really get to know us and showed samples of her work which we were so very impressed with. She did this whole consultation not even knowing if we were going to book her! Well, we did! And it was the best decision we made! She sent us a questionnaire which was very detailed so that she would be prepared on the day of and not have to bother us with questions- but just do her thing. And boy did she! She was very professional and kept in the background while capturing moments of me and my mom and sisters getting ready. The real art came out of our couple shots- wow I couldn’t believe that was us! (We are the tall couple seen in the wildflowers with the low sun at a farm) they are truly priceless. Also, the photos came about 5-6 weeks after and we’re displayed very nicely on our own photos website and could be downloaded. This was such a great thing to have to share with my family and friends. I can’t speak highly enough of Kaylyn and her talent. I’ve already referred a few friends her way!
Kaylyn was contacted by my fiancé when he decided to propose. She hid and captured amazing moments that I absolutely love having to look back on! She took beautiful photos showing ...
raw emotion and we're absolutely hoping to have her for our actual wedding day! Thank you, Kaylyn!

ut the whole planning process was responsive, professional, and pleasant. She asked us to fill out a detailed questionnaire so that she could understand our needs and desires and priorities. On the day of, she was easygoing and fun to work with. And best of all, the photos are breathtakingly gorgeous. I can't believe how beautifully and artfully she captured the vibe of the day. She is truly an artist who endeavors to create a gorgeous product while keeping her clients' personalities and desires in mind. Can't recommend her highly enough.
Words cannot describe how happy my husband and I are with the photos taken by Kaylyn Ivy Photography. Kaylyn is not only an amazing photographer but she is creative, fun, flexible ...
and above all else, professional.
Kaylyn and her crew captured all the most important parts of our big day in such beautiful and unique ways. It's been almost a year and my family and friends are still raving about our pictures, especially a picture that incorporated all of our guests that I thought would be difficult to pull off but Kaylyn made it happen.
I highly recommend Kaylyn Ivy Photography for any and all of your photography needs. I can't wait to work with Kaylyn and her team again!
