Kaylen is such a big-hearted, fun, easy-going but professional presence, and she is the perfect vibe to have running the show on your day. It is so important to have a chemistry an...
d a comfort level with your photgrapher, and Kaylen creates such a warm space to be your most authentic selves, which leads to real memories captured on film. Kaylen captured every single moment of our day, big and small, absolutely perfectly. The photo and video were captured with such care and thoughtfulness, and every time I look at them I am filled with such a deep gratitude for her work and how special she made our day. She made sure we got all the shots we wanted, and then she took the time to find the small, transitional moments that might seem insignificant, but that make the most beautiful memories. For example, one of my favorite photos is one of my parents hugging after the first look with my dad, and after the “photo-worthy” moment was over and I had left, my parents had an emotional moment together. My mom had been watching us do the first look from afar, and my dad went to her and they were embracing and holding back tears. Kaylen didn’t have to take time to grab a photo of that, but she did. And it’s so beautiful and raw and a perfect representation of the emotion of the day. Also, our film is one of my most treasured keepsakes after our wedding. It brings to life every single moment that made our wedding day so wonderful. There is a beautiful through-line and artistry that Kaylen possesses, and the way she tells the story of our wedding day through the film is nothing short of perfection. I am so happy that I decided to also include film in our package, because the film is something that is irreplaceable and so valuable to me and my husband. It is real time documentation of the best day of our lives. Investing in a quality photographer/videographer is the best decision I made, worth every penny.
Kaylen is the absolute BEST! For one- her pictures are absolutely incredible & you can just tell how much heart is behind every single one she takes. Not to mention- she’s the swee...
test human on the planet. She would move mountains for any one of her clients, and the second I met her, she became one of my favorite people. Her photos of me and my fiancé are hanging all over my house! You will NOT regret booking with her!!
Kaylen was one of the best choices I made for my wedding. She is amazing at what she does! She made everyone feel so comfortable and captured the event perfectly. Really felt like ...
having a close friend with me throughout the evening! So thankful for the effort and time she and her Mikala put in. I cannot recommend her enough and will definitely be working with her again in the future!
Kaylen was a perfect choice for both our wedding and engagement pictures. What attracted me most to her pictures were the way that she captured all the little moments. They are rea...
l. They are authentic. And when looking back, they allow for you to remember what you were feeling in those exact moments.
I feel that is what we all want in a photographer: to be able to recreate these special moments in our minds by looking at one single image. If you are looking for posed pictures, Kaylen’s work is not for you. But I assure you what you get will be much more.
Kaylen was a pleasure to work with and made my husband and I feel so comfortable. I know without a doubt we have found our photographer.
Due to my husband being in the military we had to very quickly plan our wedding, which increased my stress by like 10x. However, Kaylen always did her very best at helping me focus...
on the positive things and not stress about the little things; (Whether it was a Starbucks date, helping me make a timeline, being a listening ear when I got too stressed, or being a huge supporter of all of my feelings, she always made me feel good and relieved about the whole experience) When Kaylen arrived the day of the wedding we were running late and she jumped in and helped with anything and everything she could. Once she started shooting it all just came so naturally. I felt so comfortable in front of the camera which is very us unusual for me. I loved that she made it feel like she was there to document our day the way it went instead of posing us for every single shot. Kaylen got every single photo I could’ve ever wanted, plus so many more. Looking back at the photos always makes me tear up because Kaylen captured the most intimate and unforgettable moments so beautifully. I couldn’t imagine having anyone else be our photographer for our special day.
She absolutely killed it.
To all the couples planning your wedding:
No matter what goes wrong (something will, it always does) just let it roll right off your back because guess what... you’ll be married to your forever Bestfriend at the end of the day!!!
And some really good advice that Kaylen gave me... When you’re stressed to your max, take a step back and focus on the happy things about the day and what the day really means. Look past all the stress at the end goal and you’ll realize that it’s sooo worth marrying your bestfriend the happy always out weighs the stress.
Anyway, a big CONGRATULATIONS to all you soon to be newlyweds. I promise Kaylen will NOT disappoint if you decide to go with her. Plus you’ll make a new friend who has the biggest heart!
