ise. My husband and I especially appreciated the ceremony workbook and planning meeting. Kayla has many beautifully written options to choose from for each section of the ceremony, and it really helped us craft something that felt timeless but also true to our vision. She even helped us take phrases that resonated with us and incorporate them into other parts of the ceremony. The result was gorgeous and there was not a dry eye in the room when read out loud! If you’re looking for a wedding officiant in the Charlottesville area, we could not recommend Kayla more highly. From our very first premarital counseling session, Kayla had an in...

credible ability to get to know us in such a relatively short period of time. Through her thoughtful process, she understood our relationship so well that, after our ceremony, multiple guests asked how long we had known her (or even whether she was family)! That’s how personal and authentic the ceremony felt. Kayla was so fun and collaborative throughout the planning process. She helped us build a ceremony that blended our faith with personal stories and moments in a way that felt completely true to who we are. She struck the balance perfectly. Beyond that, Kayla has a great sense of humor and a calming presence. She kept us grounded and reminded us to enjoy the process, even during the stress that comes with wedding planning. Looking back, we are especially grateful that we chose to do premarital counseling with her. She give us practical marriage / relationship tools, but also wove the themes and lessons from those conversations into our ceremony, making it even more personal and unique. Thank you again for everything, Kayla!

lly someone we didn’t already know. We wanted our ceremony to truly reflect our love, our values, and our commitment to each other, and Kayla did exactly that and more. From the very first meeting, Kayla radiated such warmth, joy, and genuine care that we instantly felt comfortable. She has this incredible ability to make you feel like you’ve known her for years. Many of our guests were shocked to learn that we hadn’t, because the connection she creates is that natural and heartfelt. Kayla’s ceremony workbook was such a thoughtful tool that helped us craft a ceremony that felt so authentically “us.” She guided us every step of the way, offering insightful advice both leading up to the big day and on the day itself. On our wedding day, she was not only our officiant but also a calming, supportive presence—checking in, offering a hug, or simply being that friendly face who grounded us in the moment. She is professional, punctual, organized, and truly knows what she’s doing—but what sets her apart is her heart. I cannot recommend Kayla enough. If you want a ceremony that feels deeply personal, filled with love, and led by someone who genuinely cares about making your day perfect, Kayla is the one. I would recommend her to absolutely everyone—religious, non-religious, traditional, or modern—because she has a remarkable gift for making every couple’s love story shine.
