We fell in LOVE with Katie and her husband Scott as soon as we met them. Their personalities "clicked" with ours and their light, airy, romantic style was just what we were looking...
for. Their style is classic - without being "gimmicky" or cheesy. Wedding photography is their side business - so they only accept a few weddings a year. It may take a few days to hear back via email - but our photos were delivered in a timely matter. We absolutely adore them!
Katie was an integral part of our special day and she demonstrated consummate care and professionalism from the moment we booked her for our wedding. I really appreciated that she ...
took the time to get to know me and my husband on a personal level, which definitely helped on the actual wedding day. You can tell Katie and her husband become invested in the couples they photograph. She was timely in the delivery of the photos for both our engagement and wedding, and provided "sneak-peeks" immediately afterwards so we had something to see. We were really looking for a photographer who was comfortable in the desert environment and it was an absolute bonus that Katie lives in that area. She was able to suggest a great location for engagement photos (windmills) and knew about factors that could affect the wedding day (climate, what time the sun would set behind the mountains, etc).
Katie was so easy to have around on the actual day, she captured many special moments shared between our family and friends and never felt in the way. We were especially impressed with how she utilized natural light in the photos. We were so pleased with Katie McGihon Photography and could not recommend her more highly.
the BEST!! Katie is amazing (her husband too!). She has extreme talent and vision. Her photography style is natural and beautiful. She captures you at your best moments and all her...
photos will be ones you can treasure forever. We can not say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Katie and her husband. They make you feel comfortable and are such a joy to be around. Katie truly takes the most amazing photos and we would recommend her to anyone and everyone who is considering her as your photographer.
To any couples on the fence, just go with Katie and you won't regret a single thing. Katie and Scott are two of the most wonderful people you will work with. They are easy going, f...
un, and just make things work. The experience shared between the two photographers shows in their work and who they are. You feel as you are part of their lives when they will be part of yours. If I had to sum it up, it was their work that helped me realized, "wow, I'm married" because that day will just fly by, but these two will be there to capture it all for you to let you and your special one relive that small fragment of time for the rest of your lives.
If you're looking for the best wedding photographers, then you're looking for Max and Poppy. The photographers, a husband and wife team, were so down-to-earth and easy to work wit...
h. We got to know them with an engagement session and they were amazing. The day of the wedding they were punctual and professional. Their work is amazing: a great mix of traditional wedding photography with an artistic twist. They were recommended to me by the bridal salon where I bought my dress, and I, in turn, recommend them to everyone I know!
We were thrilled to have Katie and her husband handle the photography for our engagement photo session as well as our wedding day festivities. More than a bunch of typical, canned...
poses, Katie has a wonderful knack for telling an entire story through photos. With a touch of whimsy and romance, she can take an ordinary setting and through her skillful shots and angles it becomes picturesque. She even captured side stories like our nephews and nieces enjoying a few moments of play before things got started. When me and my husband got the photo DVD and looked through it, it was like reliving the event all over again. Even better, family and friends who couldn't be there felt like they experienced the event first hand through her eyes. She was a big hit with everyone who wanted photos of the day.
Don't risk your special memories by just picking any photographer out of the phone book. Take a look at Katie McGihon Photography and you'll discover they are well worth the price! They are also a lot of fun to work with, providing plenty of laughs and smiles!
I was referred to Katie by my boss who has her family portraits done by her. Katie and her team made each shoot (engagement, wedding, & the day after) so fun and easy! I'm usually ...
embarrassed and awkward when people are taking pictures, but Katie made Joe and I feel very comfortable and natural. Her work is phenomenal and she portrayed our style perfectly! And of course it's a plus that she's super sweet with a bubbly personality! My husband and I are so happy with her work, and will most definitely use her again in the future!
