Ok - stop searching for your photographer and just book Katie! I booked her for my engagement photos/wedding and from day 1, she made me feel so comfortable and so excited! We met ...
in person for coffee to go over details and we ended up just chatting about anything and everything, it was like I was sitting across from a long time friend. She understands the ins and outs of her profession and not only will take amazing photos, but she'll make sure all 'behind the scenes' items are taken care of and running smoothly as well. This is so important to have another person on your team who knows what they are doing. My engagement photos came out so beautiful, and we had so much fun during the shoot. It was probably 100 degrees outside but we made it work! There was never an awkward moment and she somehow made us look good even though I thought I was going to be dripping sweat in all the pictures. My fiance doesn't love getting his picture taken and even he said he enjoyed the experience. He met Katie for the first time during the engagement shoot and right when it was over he said "she was great, that was actually fun". She posted a sneak peek of our session almost immediately (I believe that night) and we had the rest of our photos within a couple weeks! My friends couldn't believe how quick the turnaround was. She truly is an amazing photographer and an even better friend. Best money I spent during the wedding planning process!
So about Katie ... where do I begin đđSHEâS AMAZING!! She shot both our engagement and wedding day. She is not just a photographer, she is an artist. Who is not only able to capt...
ure the moment but also the emotion and energy. She has this fun, exciting, upbeat mentality that makes the day even more special. She makes you feel comfortable each minute sheâs around you and even goes outside of her photography role to make sure everything is perfect ... I mean, what other photographer would take off her heels to squat down for 15 minutes to bustle the 30 clips I needed to have to make sure my dress would stay?! I would highly recommend her and her gift of photography. You wonât regret it!
Katie is, of course, an incredibly talented photographer, but she is so much more than that. On our wedding day, Katie was a friend, family wrangler, problem solver, and went above...
and beyond to have my back. With her unique ability to connect with others, she was like one of the gang and ensured my family was supported and happy. Katie would check in with me to see what I needed help with and then took the time to make sure those things got done. I was so grateful that we chose Katie to be our photographer because she just "got" us. Katie was able to capture beautiful pictures while allowing us to stay in the moment of our wedding. After our wedding, she sent us a sneak peek the NEXT day, and we were blown away with the pictures. Our engagement and wedding pictures capture us perfectly as a couple. Katie did a great job scoping out our wedding location, finding creative backdrops, and gave us great direction through the process. She will forever be the person we call to capture our special moments. We could not say enough about this wonderful person, and we are so grateful to her!

Our wedding day was similarly filled with laughter and joy, and we have the most wonderful visuals captured now forever thanks to Katie! Itâs true, anyone can take a picture and caption a moment, but it takes someone like Katie to make magic happen. If I could do it all over again, I wouldnât change a single thing. Katie was absolute perfection. I would highly recommended using her for any event!!!

y. Since my husband is not a huge fan of taking pictures, we opted to do some engagement/practice photos with Katie. This was super helpful to get to know each other and made us feel that more comfortable with her on the wedding day. Katie was great at making us laugh and capturing moments that looked so beautiful and natural. We had Laura as a second shooter which was really helpful to get all the shots we wanted. When I got the proofs, I was amazed at how great the photos turned out. She made us a stunning, hardcover book as well. Thanks to Katie for capturing the moments of our special day!
