Katherine Hunter Celebrant

ted -- personal, meaningful, and reflective of who we are. Everyone at our wedding had a great time, but we heard from so many people that the ceremony was their favorite part of the day and like nothing they had ever experienced before. Part of that was us, and what we had planned, but it was also because of Katherine's orchestration, her moving and sweet ceremony that was so personal that people asked her how she knew us on the way out. If you want a personalized ceremony, and someone who is going to be helpful, organized, and reinforce that the day is about you, I can't imagine anyone better than Katherine. We were so happy, beyond happy, with how the ceremony went and grateful for Katherine's approach to the timeline, coordinating with vendors, her careful discussion of the walkthrough, and above all the ceremony she helped us build and the sweet and thoughtful words she added to the day. Truly, she was wonderful.

ne's professionalism, enthusiasm, guidance, and support were unparalleled. As a bride that was planning from out of state and experienced many challenges when it came to working with personalities of families and vendors alike, Katherine was an open ear to lean on and whom provided assistance in areas that went above and beyond the call of duty. When it came to actually writing our ceremony, she provided examples and took our thoughts so seriously that by the time we got to our final draft, it felt as if Katherine had known us for the entirety of our relationship. That sentiment was carried over by our guests as everyone commented on how perfectly crafted our ceremony was. If I could give 100 stars to Katherine, I would. I could not imagine my day without her!

ouples and their families. You can tell by how meaningful and lovely her ceremonies are! We have Katherine on our vendor list and recommend her often!

to work with and that delivery during the ceremony is always 🔥.

ts asked us if she was a friend of the family and gave many compliments on her work. We appreciate and recommend Katherine.

ceremony. Katherine was so helpful and supportive in guiding us through the process and made it very simple and stress free. The ceremony was absolutely perfect. If you didn’t know, you would have thought she knew us forever. It was personal, thoughtful, sincere, and beautiful. We would highly recommend Katherine, she truly made our ceremony special and something we will never forget.

s well!

nd so which made it easy for us to choose from. Very helpful, organized and informative.

” to our guests. In addition, during our pre-wedding consultations, Katherine shared some invaluable tips to help make sure our wedding day was perfect. After the wedding, we received many compliments regarding the ceremony. She did a phenomenal job. We couldn’t be happier!

I'm not necessarily a huge fan of attending weddings myself, partially because a lot of the times I feel like the ceremony is not super personal to the couple. I wanted to eliminate the possibility of being bored during the ceremony at my own wedding (yikes! haha) so I thought hiring an officiant would allow us to put more of our own personality into the ceremony. Katherine did that and SO much more! She went above and beyond our expectations. She really took the time to get to know us, and she was patient and welcoming at every single one of our meetings with her. She was quite literally the BEST vendor out of ALL the vendors we hired for the wedding! I could go on and on listing great things about working with her but if I had to choose a couple to highlight in this review it would be her empathy and her responsiveness! You would think when it comes to wedding vendors "of course they'll be decent about responding to me because I'm a customer and I haven't been a jerk to them, I'm just asking them basic questions." Unfortunately I found through the process that that doesn't always turn out to be the case! With Katherine, I NEVER had to worry about that, she always answered any questions we had almost instantly. Even if we were just sending something that she requested, she was so considerate and would always confirm that she received it. You wouldn't believe how much these "little" things really do make a difference when you're already trying to keep track of a hundred other things during wedding planning! Moreover, she showed us such compassion for the personal and logistical challenges we were facing throughout the wedding process. Even when there wasn't anything she could really do about our issues, she offered to help in any way she could. Even extending that kindness really touched us and meant a lot to us. Finally, I LOVED the final product of what she wrote for our ceremony. She really captured our unique relationship as a couple, our individual personalities, and any revisions we requested from her she welcomed and did a great job of incorporating for us. In summary, if you're debating at all, I would say just do it - hire her! You won't regret it!

nnaire she asked us to fill out, to the ceremony cue sheet she made up, I can go on. Our event coordinator at the venue was taken back by the info packet Katherine had sent over for our rehearsal, making things very easy at the rehearsal. Katherine gives you the option of having her there for the rehearsal or not. The ceremony went great, Katherine is very well spoken. Her attention to detail took our stress away. If you go with her, definitely follow her suggestions of where to stand, how to put the rings on for better pictures, how to kiss for 5 seconds. Her prices are a bit higher than other people we reached out to but I think you get what you pay for sometimes. We could have spent half the money for someone to say “do you”. “do you” which is what we initially wanted but Katherine developed a script that was spot on for what we wanted. She will customize what she does to anything you want your ceremony to be. We are both very pleased that we hired Katherine for our wedding.

d: Our loved ones, nature, life, and each other. We are so glad we chose Katherine to officiate our wedding. When we first met with Katherine, she was clear about her intentions and what to expect, and took time to get to know us both. We truly felt like she understood what was important to us, and what we love about each other. She built a ceremony that was full of love, truly represented our sensibilities, and celebrated the people who are important to us, and each other. We are still glowing from our perfect wedding day, and can’t thank Katherine enough!

was perfect. I would suggest her to anyone looking for a wedding officiant!

She spent a lot of time with us, and sent us many versions of the ceremony to make sure everything sounded absolutely perfect! ng…. We weren’t exactly sure what we were looking for but after meeting with Katherine we knew we found the person to bring our vision to reality! Katherine was an absolute pleasure to work with… she kept us on track, checked in frequently to see if she could do anything to help us and she knew exactly what we were looking for even when we couldn’t verbalize it ourselves. Katherine gave us the most perfect and beautiful ceremony and we could not be more grateful!

nalized ceremony that highlighted our love story and we absolutely got it. Katherine took the time to ask us individualized questions that captured who we are as people and what the essence of our relationship is. All of our guests not only made a point to tell us what a beautiful job they felt Katherine did, but also told us how perfectly she captured our relationship. When we first read our ceremony we laughed, we cried, and we felt relieved that the person we were trusting with this huge moment delivered. Katherine was warm and professional throughout the entire process, especially so during the ceremony. We wanted our ceremony to be all about the gravity of our commitment to each other and not try to go for cheap laughs. We also wanted everyone present to feel the love that we feel for one another. Katherine, we cannot stress this enough, encapsulated everything we could have ever dreamt of for our ceremony and we feel eternally grateful for that.

rehearsal so we could run through the ceremony a few times which was very helpful for me as the bride as well as the bridal party. Katherine was able to create a fantastic personalized ceremony from meeting us virtually several times from when we secured our date up to the wedding date. Our ceremony was everything we imagined it could be- several wedding guests told me it was the most heart-felt ceremony they have ever attended.

on track for everything the whole step of the way. We can’t thank Katherine enough for helping us make our ceremony everything we ever dreamed of and helping our families and friends better understand ourselves and our relationship. Our ceremony was perfect and it wouldn’t have been without Katherine. We can’t thank her enough.

t with her for our initial meeting, and she was immediately warm, and interested in learning about us to create the wedding we wanted. She did not impose her wishes or expectations on us and led us to options and respected our decisions for our ceremony. She thoughtfully considered how we might wish to incorporate our families and traditions and background. We had lots of input and opportunity to perfect the ceremony and vows, and she helpfully kept us on track and on our timeline. We hired Katherine rather late in our wedding planning process, but she expertly guided us. Guests came away from our ceremony loving it and saying it was "the best wedding ever." (They love us, of course, but this was sweet to hear nonetheless.) Katherine was a big part of making the wedding an amazing experience for us. Regarding logistics, she was on time (way early to be honest!), prepared, and flexible. She helped make sure we had what we needed. What words come to mind with Katherine? She is thoughtful, professional, organized, prompt, communicative, warm, and friendly. She was easy to recommend - highly recommended!

ound what we wanted. She more than did that! With patience, professionalism and understanding, she took the stress out of our planning process. She made a real effort to learn about us and wrote a nonreligious ceremony that held meaning for us. Our guests and family are still reaching out to us to talk about how blow away they were by the ceremony. All in all Katherine went above and beyond to make our wedding day an unforgettable one. We can't recommend her highly enough. Thank you Katherine.

d around every detail you provide her from the questionnaires she sends her couples to fill out. We wanted something very personal for our ceremony and she delivered just that. She sends drafts often towards your wedding date to make everything is perfect. We’ve had so many guests, and non guests who’ve seen our wedding video, comment on how beautiful our ceremony was, and that’s all thanks to Katherine. If you’re looking for something to fit your style, funny, serious, a mix of both, and yet very personal, Katherine will give you just that. I will recommend her to every couple I know that is planning a wedding!

through the pandemic and was readily available and willing to answer any and all of our questions. She provided invaluable advice about our ceremony program as well as our walk-through rehearsal at the venue (which proved to be critical). Many of our guests approached us after the ceremony to compliment Katherine's professionalism and poise and to share how impressed they were with each unique segment of the program. Most notably, our guests were thrilled by the handfasting ritual that we included at Katherine's recommendation. From start to finish, all of the words and actions of our ceremony held weight and spoke specifically to my now-husband and I as a couple. You can absolutely trust in Katherine to create a personal, heartening celebration for your occasion.

ceremony that felt true to us in content and tone. Katherine offered clear guidance and supported us as we figured out what we wanted. When we weren't sure, she offered tasteful suggestions. We felt very supported by Katherine, who was patient and responsive throughout the whole process. When I read the first draft of the ceremony, I cried tears of joy, relief, and resonance for what Katherine so beautifully captured for us. We appreciated Katherine's willingness to lead a very thorough rehearsal for us the day before the wedding. Katherine blew us and our guests away with her presentation--everyone told us how beautiful and moving it was for them. It was important to us that we share an announcement about my father's terminal illness, and Katherine stepped up and held a powerful container for this special circumstance. Working with Katherine allowed us not to worry and instead focus on being entirely present for our wedding day! Hire her, you won't be disappointed.

ur wedding, she really took the time to get to know us as a couple through a handful of questionnaires and video calls. The result was a super thoughtful and personalized ceremony for our wedding day. Ten out of ten would recommend Katherine!

day, Katherine truly stands out. We enjoyed working with her from the very start. Katherine takes the time to get to know her couples. Although we couldn't meet before the wedding in person, we did meet with her a few times via Zoom. She is extremely organized and professional and from our first meeting, I knew we were in good hands. You can tell that Katherine truly cares about what she does. Her process is extremely thorough; every detail is accounted for, which gave us total peace of mind. Through an "interview" and using questionnaires, Katherine delivers a fully personalized ceremony. Our guests loved it - we received so many compliments. Katherine also conducts an online rehearsal, which helped to put us at ease before the wedding. Thank you Katherine for your kindness, professionalism, and flexibility in working with us!

g and when. She really took the time to get to know us on a deep personal level and that made for an amazing ceremony. Our guests couldnt stop telling us how beautiful it was written and how it truly represented who we are as a couple. Again it was beyond perfect and I would recommend Katherine 100% to anyone

e it easy to work with her. More importantly, she was creative, kind and thoughtful which made it a joy to work with her! Upon reading the first draft we were thrilled at the attention to detail and how she clearly heard our story and what we wanted. She provided many helpful suggestions and options along the way and successfully captured the overall mood, length and personality we wanted. While Covid wreaked havoc with many of our plans, Katherine remained positive and flexible allowing us to focus on everything else! She guided us through everything we needed to do so we could trust that every detail would be managed well. In the end, the ceremony was lovely and all who attended either in person or remotely commented on how beautiful and personal it was. Many joined us in tears of joy! Jack and I highly recommend partnering with Katherine to celebrate your wedding ceremony!

ceremony. Katherine interviewed us and asked us questions and drew ideas out of us that we couldn't have thought of on our own. She really wanted to know what our story was! Within just a few days, she had a draft for our review. She wanted our input, but there was nothing we could add or critique. The ceremony she wrote and eventually presented to our large audience was absolutely perfect. She's a natural storyteller and orator. My wife and I felt seen and understood and special. How could she capture us so seamlessly? It was really amazing and so many of our guests couldn't stop talking about it. The way Katherine listened to us and the way she kept us in the loop throughout the entire process put us at ease. And we know, we could not have gotten through the many stresses that come with a wedding without a rock solid celebrant like Katherine Hunter. She was really in our corner! We are eternally grateful to her and would highly recommend her again and again.
