ky. We went to one wedding show during our planning process and the one we went to we found Katelyn. We were annoyed and frustrated that we didn’t find any of the vendors that we wanted to find and decided to leave. On our way out, Katelyn’s booth caught our eye and we knew after looking through her pictures and spending just 10 minutes talking with her that she was going to be the one to document our wedding. In less than a week after that show, we had our deposit down and were setting up dates for our engagement session. We fell in love in Ann Arbor and knew that this needed to be the location we had our engagement pictures taken. We met with Katelyn in the Law Quad at U of M and quickly hit it off. She was very easy to work with and we trusted her fully that they would turn out perfectly. We had the idea of a perfect session and how it would go in our mind prior to showing up and Katelyn exceeded those expectations. Not only did she shoot pictures in the law quad, she walked with use to Michigan Theatre (where our proposal took place) and The Black Pearl (where we first met). We even made a few stops along the way because we found cool spots to take pictures. We quickly knew that she was going to make our wedding day memorable and capture every moment perfectly. We had a meeting with her a few weeks prior to the wedding to iron out all the details and she seemed just as excited for our day as we did. She made some great suggestions to help on the day of and was helpful in ensuring us that we were going to be able to get to our two locations that we wanted to take pictures at after the ceremony. On the day of our wedding she was easily a standout in terms of all the vendors we had. We put all our trust in her ability to capture the day and she was there for every moment we wanted her to photograph. She instilled confidence when there were doubts, she felt joy and happiness with our friends and family, she continued to let us know throughout the day how happy she was with the shots she was able to get. We took pictures in Kerrytown and The Arb which are heavily crowded areas and she was able to find every standout area that would add that perfect touch to our photos. While at the ceremony, we would see her throughout the evening as we danced the night away and were so glad that she was able to take photos of some of the greatest moments of the night. At the end of the night, she pulled us aside and told us how happy she was for us and thanked us for working well with her throughout the day. Truly we should be thanking her for everything she did without evening knowing that she was doing it. Typically, you only hear from your attendees or bridal party when a photographer is bad or rude and if they are mediocre you usually don’t hear anything about them. We had multiple attendees of the wedding and bridal party come up to us and tell us how nice Katelyn was and easy to work with. We write this today without having seen but two photos from the day, but we know just from those two photos that Katelyn did an amazing job and we thank her for that.
