and she was excellent at communicating leading up to the wedding day. On the actual day of our event, she and a second photographer Francesca were total pros and so fun to work with. They brought relaxed and positive energy, while remaining extremely professional the entire time. It was super enjoyable from start to finish, and we're thrilled with the preview photos that we’ve seen so far. Kate’s photography is gorgeous and we could not be more pleased with our decision to hire her to capture our wedding. Highly recommend her and her team!!

only is she extremely talented, but she is also fun and NICE!!!! My husband & I are slightly camera shy, but Kate really helped ease us into it, and the results speak for themselves :)

taste of what our wedding day photos would look like! It poured the day of my wedding and Kate hopped on the phone with me the week of to make a game plan and in many of the photos you'd never know it was raining. She is professional, communicative and had the best attitude. Can't recommend her enough!

apture us perfectly on our wedding day. She made Eric and I feel at ease, comfortable, and was helpful with how to pose (we're not models although she made us look like it!). She's a true artist with a creative eye that captures details, scenery, portraits and energy so beautifully. And captures a range from candids to posed to romantic and playful. I cried looking at my engagement photos and gasped at every single one of my wedding pictures! I can't stop looking at the preview she sent! She's a joy to be around, game for anything and sends photos so fast. If you're thinking about booking her DO IT. You won't regret it. I'll cherish these photos forever and have her to thank for being able to look back at my wedding day! Thank you Kate!!

ways gave clear instructions for each shot, and is great at finding cool spots for shots around our wedding venue. She is super easy to work with and made a great team with our videographers. To all future married couples, we highly recommend Kate as your wedding photographer.

n Kate's work on Instagram, it was love at first sight. Kate's images exuded an effortless elegance, romance, and a unique ability to showcase the genuine connection between the couples she photographed. Looking at her portfolio, it almost felt as if we already knew the couples in her pictures, and to us, that was the exact essence we hoped to encapsulate on our wedding day. Kate and her team not only met but exceeded our expectations in this regard. On our wedding day, we had the pleasure of working with her associate photographer, Karen. Karen seamlessly executed Kate's vision and brought her own unique style to the table. It was as though she was a silent, unobtrusive presence, yet at the same time, she managed to capture every moment with a level of intimacy that was truly remarkable. On a day as chaotic as a wedding, Karen also proved to be a calming presence. She guided us through the hustle and bustle, ensuring that every moment was captured flawlessly. Karen selected the most picturesque spots around Brooklyn, and we can't help but grin from ear to ear every time we look at our photos. To anyone searching for a wedding photographer who not only captures moments but also the emotions and essence of your special day, we wholeheartedly recommend Kate Edwards Photography. Kate and her team made our wedding experience truly unforgettable, and for that, we are forever grateful. Priscilla & Mauricio

communicative, which is exactly what we wanted to ensure the photos looked their best. Kate's eye for detail in composing shots is incredible, and after seeing the photos from our wedding we couldn't be happier! Kate's artistic style captures these special moments with authenticity and creativity, and not just of the bride and groom, but the event as a whole. Working with her has been a dream and her style meshed so well with us that we couldn't imagine having had anyone else photograph our wedding!

us, our photographer, was one of, if not, the most important vendor for us on our wedding day. Not only has created lifetime memories in photographs we will re-live for the rest of our lives but she also brought out the best in us on one of the most important days in our life to be shown and captured through her lens. Kate has AMAZING people management skills and the ability to create an incredibly safe and comfortable environment so all you have to worry about is just being you- with your partner, she takes on the rest effortlessly. Could not recommend Kate enough she is the best of the best <3.

y to be around our entire wedding weekend. Having Kate photograph our wedding was one of the best decisions we made and I couldn't recommend her more highly.

lete trust in her and made everything so seamless and wonderful. She is extremely talented and her photos definitely reflect that. I cannot recommend her enough. You will definitely not be disappointed!

, cool, and collected. From having Kate to our home for our engagement shoot to spending our rehearsal dinner and eventual wedding day with her felt like being in the company of an old friend. She is simply the sweetest. Posing for portraits can be exhausting in the grand scheme of the day, but Kate always made it feel breezy and fun. Not to mention, her candids are swoon-worthy! (A talent that is surprisingly tricky to find when searching for wedding photographers). She made us feel so ourselves, which ultimately radiated through in the beautiful pictures she snapped. We are so thankful to have worked with her and wholeheartedly recommend her to any couples looking for the coolest, most stylish photographer in the wedding game. xx Tim & Liz

her team made us feel comfortable the whole time and directed us with ease as we are not naturals in front of a camera. She went above and beyond to get the shots we needed along with candid shots we will cherish forever. Everything was captured perfectly from both our rehearsal dinner and wedding, and we can not thank or recommend Kate enough!! She is the best and will make you feel incredible on your wedding day!

nk is so beautiful. She was able to catch candid moments that look like something out of a magazine. She is super chill and makes you feel really relaxed. We love Kate!

is modern and fresh. Also very much appreciate the fast photo previews she sends! Highly recommend having Kate as your photographer.

t her. When we first worked with Kate for our engagement photos, we met her in the west village where we exchanged intros and she walked us through her plan for the session. She had a great personality, came very well prepared and helped us to just relax and have fun. The session went great, we had a lot of laughs and the photos turned out amazing. Her feedback and humor during our session really helped make it a great experience. It was easy to trust her for our wedding day which was a blast. Kate and her assistant Karen made sure to get all the photos that we wanted and captured all of our special moments. The posed pictures all turned out great as well as all the candid shots with our guests. Such a fun day- we highly recommend!

ed officially wedding planning and I got to connect with Kate on the phone, I knew it was a perfect match: not only is her photography style exactly what we envisioned for our wedding, but she is also an absolute delight. This carried over to wedding when she was making us laugh throughout the day, even when we were sweating outside or our mouths started to ache from smiling for so long. Her pictures simply evoke such warmth and emotion. And while I'm not well-versed enough in photography to speak to the details of how she does it, there is just something so comforting, homey, classic, and timeless about her work. We're still waiting on our full album, but from the previews alone we are beyond thrilled. Thank you, Kate!!!

hen she was available for our wedding day, it was the easiest vendor decision we made! Kate is also a DREAM to work with. She was so poised and kind throughout our entire wedding day. Having vendors who bring the positive vibes makes a difference! Our wedding photography turned out SO beautifully. I truly feel like she captured the emotion of the day perfectly.

tory phone call with her, Kate was warm, kind, and so helpful. She was the first vendor call I made when I started my planning process, and she took the time to answer all of my questions and really get to know me. She captured our wedding day perfectly, and made us feel so happy and comfortable. It was like we were hanging out with one of our closest friends all day long. I knew that I wanted to find a photographer who captures true, authentic emotion and not any manufactured, staged shots. We found that and more in Kate. I know that we will cherish these wedding photos forever. If Kate is available on your wedding day, do not hesitate and book right away. This was one of the best wedding decisions we made, and we are so thankful for her!

rarely have professional photos done and she made us feel comfortable and relaxed the entire time and helped us pose so naturally. Not the mention- every single one of our photos is drop dead gorgeous! So many friends and relatives have been comparing them to luxury magazine spreads. Kate truly listens to her clients, and it was amazing to have her as a part of our wedding. She was so efficient the day of, scoping out the perfect areas for photos, getting all my specified family portraits, and even staying late to capture our after party looks. Her photo delivery is also super convenient as an online gallery where you can also purchase prints, albums, etc. and her pricing is fair (and worth every penny!). Also, her photos speak for themselves- just absolutely stunning and timeless. We feel so lucky to have gotten to work with Kate. She captured these major life milestones of ours beautifully, where you can truly see how happy we are with a chic New York vibe. I can’t recommend her enough. We are so thankful to her!!

as a total all star. Karen was playful but professional, made us really comfortable, and really listened to what we were looking for. Absolute 10/10!

e end of the night from dancing, there's not a photo we don't love! I've looked through the entire album everyday since we received the photos and I find something new that I love each time. We hadn't met Kate leading up to the wedding but it was like we had known her for years. She makes you feel comfortable and confident. Thank you, Kate!!!

ly enjoyable! She is so creative and the pictures are INCREDIBLE!! We love Kate!

zed. It’s easy to get wrapped up during your wedding and Kate made sure to pull us aside to get all the shots we needed. She sent us a preview within 48 hrs!

o be pulled away from our party to take photos. Kate was flexible, gave input that we needed, and is friendly and kind. She helped us feel at ease the whole day. Plus, her pictures speak for themselves! Gorgeous!

k, my fiance and I knew we had found our dream photographer. From our first phone call, we had a great rapport, understood her style and way of working and were able to bounce ideas off of each other. Kate is also very professional and I felt super clear throughout the process about payments, logistics, etc. Kate has a knack for making you feel very comfortable in front of the camera and for quickly getting to know you - making sure your personalities really come through in the photos. Lastly, she was so fun to have by my side on my wedding day - we laughed (a lot). Kate was such a dream to work with, and I'm hopeful this won't be the last time. Thank you Kate! <3

ht package to fit our needs and budget, and was very responsive leading up to our wedding day for any and all of my questions. She is a true professional and was like having your friend take your photos at your wedding - so friendly, attentive, and organized. My husband and I were very worried about being awkward in front of the camera, and Kate put us at ease and really helped direct us the perfect amount. Our wedding photo previews were delivered super quickly (in a few days!) and they are AMAZING, very natural looking and she clearly captured the emotions of the day. Everyone who has seen the photos has loved them as well. I can't wait to see the rest of the gallery. I would HIGHLY recommend Kate to anyone looking for their wedding photographer.

me take the typical wedding photos that feel so staged, but Kate was anything but. Everything felt very natural with her and looking back at our pictures, I couldn't be happier. She was similar to having your best friend there to capture the best weekend of your life. I'm extremely awkward in front of the camera and she knew exactly what to do to make my husband and I feel comfortable and look like naturals. I spoke with a number of photographers and landed on Kate after a bit of back and forth. She's everything you want in a photographer and I felt so lucky that she was available the weekend of my wedding. She really is the best, I can't recommend her enough.

to frame them in our home!

and made sure all of our shots and particular requests were made. She was on time, organized, friendly, and really helped us out with pose ideas and direction. You can really tell that Kate is so talented because the photos feel so natural, balanced, and romantic. The final photo delivery is great for sharing with friends and family and is conveniently on a gallery link, so you don't have to download and send individual photos to each person you want to share with. Wedding photos are one of the most important parts of wedding planning and you can trust that Kate will deliver nothing but the best. Thanks Kate!

e are so happy with our photos and have received so many compliments on how natural and editorial they feel, which is exactly what we wanted from the start and why we chose her in the first place. The fact that she captured SO many intimate and fun moments of our other family members is just an added bonus! Her work feels like so much more than just "wedding photography" - they are thoughtfully captured memories that everyone in our family is so grateful to have, especially after waiting so long to come together for this event.

ent photos in which she was also more than willing to travel to. While I am not always comfortable in front of a camera Kate made the entire experience so easy and fun. Her work speaks for itself, she is not only incredibly talented but is kind and patient as well. I can not say enough about my experience working with Kate and her team for our 9.24.21 wedding.

to postpone our wedding due to COVID. She kept in frequent communication with us throughout that time, and we had a great conversation leading up to the wedding so we would know what to expect. On the day of, Kate and Brittany made us feel soooo comfortable while our photos were taken, as well as during the ceremony and reception. She knew I loved the beautiful surroundings of our wedding venue at Blooming Hill Farm and helped set up gorgeous shots of my husband and I walking through a field of wildflowers - and afterwards, she even helped me remove the inevitable 50 burrs and rescue a live cricket that had gotten stuck in the lace of my dress during that process - the photos were so worth it, and now I can say that not only is Kate an amazing photographer, she can also add emergency dress fixer and cricket rescuer to that list :) Kate and her team have a wonderful vibe and I would highly recommend her and Brittany as your wedding photographers! I can’t wait to see all of the final photos!!

to the pandemic. Kate was extremely accommodating despite the evolving circumstances. In the end, we opted for an intimate day with just family and Kate captured the day perfectly. We highly recommend Kate!

on her Instagram shortly after our wedding and he wanted to blow it up and frame it immediately. Even though it was the first wedding photo we had seen he didn't care and said that, "This picture is all I need!!" Don't think twice. Kate is THE best photographer for your wedding day. I would shout it from the rooftop if I could! We also booked Kate for our engagement shoot, which was a year before our wedding. It was great for us all to get to know one another. Those photos also turned out incredible! We will be reliving our perfect day for eternity!!
