Kasey Powell Weddings

ady presence to the entire experience. From keeping the timeline flowing effortlessly to noticing the smallest details before we ever had to, they made the day feel seamless and allowed us to be fully present in every moment. What stood out most when we received our gallery was how beautifully they captured not just how the day looked, but how it felt. Every image felt timeless, intentional, and full of emotion. Looking through our photos immediately brought us back to the energy, warmth, and love we felt that day. We truly could not have imagined anyone documenting our wedding more beautifully than Kasey and Callum did!

She doesn’t just take photos; she captures feelings. Every emotion, every vibe, and allll the drama. What she creates is true artwork. Working with Kasey, Callum, and their incredible team was hands down one of the best decisions we made. From start to finish, they made the day feel fun, relaxed, seamless, and so us. They think of every detail—down to a portable speaker on the beach playing our favorite music while we danced around as newlyweds. They created a space where everyone felt comfortable being themselves (including somehow getting the groom to be extra lovey and fully present on camera). Get ready to sob—because every sneak peek, reel, and video had me weak at the knees. I knew I’d be getting beautiful photos, but what I didn’t expect was how deeply Kasey would understand my vision and personality and turn it into art. My photos are just as stunning as her best work, yet still completely me and my vibe. And trust me—I am PARTICULAR. I fully trusted Kasey to do what she does best, and she absolutely nailed it. The photos and films are the kind you frame throughout your home, gift to loved ones, and treasure forever. They were also the perfect addition to an Outer Banks wedding experience. Kasey and Callum are the Outer Banks vibe—cool, laid-back, fun, and effortlessly awesome. They blended right in while still elevating the entire day. I truly cannot say enough good things about this team. I only wish I had added the extra hour, the extra film, the extra session—because working with them was that good. I feel incredibly lucky to have had Kasey, Callum, and their amazing team capture one of the most meaningful days of our lives. Oh, and not to mention—they are genuinely some of the kindest and coolest people you will ever meet. And that’s a pretty big plus. 💛

o her thing! She can totally follow a mood board and vibe, but if you're like me and just can't handle another decision... letting her make art as she sees fit will be the best decision you make. She is worth every penny. The energy the two of them bring to your wedding is the best - they are cool, calm, and so very genuine! What she delivers for your sneak peak is muccccch beyond what other photographers will give you. She made the sweetest video ever... so many tears! I think she is just above and beyond talented, and wonderful person. It's the most important day of your life... use Kasey! <3

ments you want to remember.  I remember the following week after the wedding thinking to myself how much of a blur the day was and that I wish I looked more at people’s faces when I walked down the aisle and during the reception… well, I got my wish, a few weeks later when we got our full wedding album back.  It is truly a beautiful thing to be able to see your day as a whole. I am so beyond happy with how our photos came out and it’s because they truly reflect the emotion of our day.  Every time that I look through the photos, I find a new favorite or one I swear I haven’t seen before. I especially love the mix of photography styles that is Kasey’s talent… portraits, film, motion, details… it’s everything I pictured in my head but better.  Another note is that both Kasey and her partner Callum brought such an incredible bright loving energy with them on the day and were immediately vibing with everyone. As soon as Kasey said hi to me in the makeup/hair chair I felt reassured and at ease like… yes… this woman knows what she is doing!!! She worked with our vendors so flawlessly and was wonderful at directing us and our wedding parties and families through portraits.  Kasey is also so prepared and thorough with the work she does before the day to make sure she knows her clients story and exactly what they want the day of. I love that she asks about the couples backstory and our love languages as well as even had downloaded our favorite songs which she played while it was just me and my husbands time for photos together.  All my bridesmaids loved Kasey so much also and the vibe she brought, they were all telling me how they want to book her once they’re engaged!  If you’re thinking about booking Kasey for your wedding day or for any other special moments, do it. Feel reassured that she will make your day feel special and deliver you the beautiful heartfelt artwork to remember for the years to come. Thank you!!!!

e, professional, easy, and FUN to work with. I don’t think you can get a better wedding photographer than her. It’s not just about the photos, she was so helpful and proactive in our emails, and she even went to our wedding location at the same time of day of our ceremony so she knew what angle the sun would be at and gave options for where we wanted our ceremony set up. Thank you so much Kasey and Callum - the photos you took of us and our special day continue to take my breath away 🥹💗💞

and learn and made me feel incredibly comfortable behind her camera as someone who is typically uncomfy! Her work speaks for itself.. INCREDIBLE! Not a single bad picture. If you’re even considering hiring Kasey, DO IT! (:

she was the one. Booking her (and her husband) was the best decision we made – worth every single penny. They are the perfect mix of professional, patient, kind, fun, talented, and incredibly artistic. We also added on content creation, and I am SO glad we did – it gave us the best behind-the-scenes memories that we’ll cherish forever. My only regret is not booking videography, but that just speaks to how amazing they are and how much I wish we had even more of their work to look back on! If you’re on the fence, don’t be. BOOK. HER. You will not regret it!

really beautiful moments is unmatched. Their energy and values matched ours and their talent is indescribable. We got our photos back and we couldn’t be happier. 100/10 recommend!!! We will be going back to them for any big moments in the future we might have because they are simply the best!!!

utiful memories thanks to them.

sey and Callum are so personable and they clearly love what they do. By the end of our wedding process, I felt like she was a close friend ♥️ You simply can’t go wrong working with her!

ck a chord with us. We knew immediately that we had to work with her and would do pretty much anything to make that happen, even change our wedding date (which we did!). We decided to do a ‘practice’ couples shoot which we were pretty nervous about, but quickly realized that was not necessary - Kasey made us feel so incredibly comfortable and brought our vision to life beautifully. We will cherish not only those photos but the memories we made during the shoot for a lifetime! Now on to the big day…Kasey and Callum truly felt like part of our inner circle – they blended in seamlessly and brought such calming and supportive energy that made everything feel so effortless. This allowed us to be completely present which we will be forever grateful for. All of my friends and family are literally obsessed with them, as are we. Now on to the photos…the way Kasey captures moments is indescribable and unlike anything I have seen before. Every raw emotion, every fleeting glance, every burst of laughter was documented so beautifully and authentically on our wedding day. Looking through our gallery, we are transported right back to those incredible moments, and that is a gift we will cherish forever. She gave us true artwork that we will be proud to hang on our walls for decades. If you are looking for a photographer who not only captures stunning photos but also brings warmth, kindness, and genuine connection, Kasey is the one. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

d all of our photo expectations and brought our photo vision to life! Our photos are absolutely amazing and we would recommend her to everyone!

nd patience when discussing the vision of how your special occasion will be captured. She will treat you as if you were a lifelong friend, and give you great advice if needed. She will document in the form of incredible photography, and provide you photos that will be nothing short of remarkable. She’ll capture those moments that you didn’t even know were occurring, and make you FEEL that you were a part of them. You will be transported to each instance of your special day and experience the way the sun felt on your skin, the way breeze blew you hair and just all of the emotion that surrounds one of the best days of your life. Worth every penny. Forever grateful to have our story documented by such a talented artist. Xoxo, Em + Chris

he and Callum made everyone feel super comfortable and our video also came out AMAZING! I want to get married again just so we can shoot with Kasey and her team again!!

us. Kasey made us feel calm, she was extremely intentional with posing, and totally understood where we were both coming from. She understood our goals from the jump and went above and beyond with her execution. I recommend her so much! If I could go back, I'd have her document everything from engagement, to wedding, to now.

s on the details. It was a joy to have her and Callum capture our day. We had a very intimate and laid back reception, not many frills and she still made our photos look spectacular. From ensuring we'd capture everything we wanted to being flexible with the timeline and navigating our family members she was a star. I can't thank her enough!

vision and was genuinely excited to bring it to life. Kasey took the time to discuss our ideas in detail, offering insightful suggestions that enhanced our original concept. Her professionalism and creativity made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. On the day of the shoot, she created a comfortable atmosphere, allowing us to relax and truly be ourselves. We spent HOURS on the beach making sure we made all of our visions from our mood board come to life and she NAILED IT! The final photos are absolutely stunning! Each shot captures not only the essence of our vision but also the emotions of the moment. It’s clear that Kasey has an exceptional eye for detail and a unique artistic perspective. If you’re looking for a photographer who can transform your ideas into beautiful imagery, I wholeheartedly recommend Kasey. We are so grateful for her talent and can’t wait to work together again in the future!

8 year old with us so I was a little nervous about how the evening would go but we had a BLAST! This felt more like family bonding than it did a photography session, in the best way possible. Kasey was amazing with my kids to the point where they asked if they could do this again! Looking at the pictures she took gives me so much joy and we will cherish them forever. The emotional connection she is able to capture through her photography is nothing short of magical. I cannot recommend Kasey enough, she truly made our session an evening my family will never forget.

would feel too posed and unnatural. We felt the opposite working with both Kasey and Callum. I came across Kasey’s work and immediately knew I wanted to work with her. She captured our wedding perfectly, and gave us pictures and memories that look like they came straight out of a movie. She made us feel comfortable and felt like a friend celebrating with us, not just someone hired to do a job. She made us feel special, beautiful, and went above and beyond to capture the big emotions and beauty of our day. Not only that, but she was willing to travel from the outer banks to Wilmington for us. I can’t even say how much we appreciated all of it and we’re beyond happy with the entire experience. Thank you Kasey and Callum!!!!

ey to capture our day naturally and candidly. She did just that and so much more. Every moment, every emotion, every detail – all perfectly preserved. It's like we can relive our entire day through her incredible photos, and they are exactly what we hoped for and beyond. Kasey's professionalism stood out throughout the day. She managed to be everywhere without ever being intrusive. Her ability to capture such intimate and genuine moments while seamlessly blending into the background is truly remarkable. A special shoutout to her wonderful husband, Callum, who took the groom's photos and captured the guys getting ready. His presence brought ease and comfort to the guys, and he did a fantastic job. Kasey and Callum, you are both amazing. If you have the chance to work with Kasey, consider yourself incredibly lucky. Worth every single penny! Thank you for giving us memories we can cherish forever.

e contacted her to shoot for our special day! Whether is was over email or zoom, you could tell she was genuinely interested and cared about our ideas and what we were hoping for and always was so helpful with her personal advice, even if it wasn't about the pictures themselves. Her style is so unique. She captured our entire day start to finish, with such a candid style, where every photo we could truly feel the emotion and nothing ever felt staged! We would highly recommend going with Kasey and Callum for any photography needs! Such genuine, kind souled people who will make you feel so comfortable the entire time being around them! We will definitely be looking to them in the future for any photography needs!

hoto shoot (August 2022) and our fusion Hindu- American wedding (April 2024) with an exceptionally challenging timeline and many intricate ceremony pieces. It was a completely new experience for her but she made every effort to be prepared and invested in depicting its beauty and she exceeded expectations. She was extremely communicative prior to the wedding and really listened to the concerns and priorities we expressed. Kasey really paid attention to our inspiration board and checked throughout the day to make sure she didn’t miss and important shots. She was organized through multiple outfit changes, a chaotic ceremony, and a treacherously windy afternoon/evening. She does a wonderful job allowing emotional moments to flow naturally while still guiding you to make the shot the highest possible quality. Her team makes everyone feel comfortable and they make the whole thing FUN and low-pressure. Her husband, Callum, was our second shooter and he did a wonderful job connecting with the groom and groomsmen. We love Kasey and we would use her again and again if we could. We look forward to future shoots with her ❤️

ERFUL and so so helpful in helping us decide on location, timeline, and logistics. The entire evening was beautiful, magical, and so relaxed. I really can't imagine having this experience with any other photographer. It felt like we had known Kasey for years even though it was our first in person meeting.

apture our special day.

and will always recommend her to others.

ough the entire process. They were early on the morning of and truly could not have been nicer. Our sneak peak photos were ready in less than 2 days.... incredible. Kasey Powell Weddings is worth every single penny and then some!!! We WILL be booking her in the future for other shoots. Any one that has the pleasure of working with them is truly lucky!

es.

by different people smiling picturing our big day. Then we stumbled across Kasey and there were immediate chills while scrolling through her photos. We knew right then and there she was our only option. Her pictures are stunning, her vision is incredible, and then you meet her and just love everything even more. From the moment we met Kasey we felt comfortable. She has a way of making you feel like you have known her forever and she goes out of her way to make her shoots incredibly special. Kasey was absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish and we could not recommend her more. We received our full album and the photos had a way of making us feel like we were right back at our wedding day. We are forever thankful for the way Kasey captured our moments so beautifully and our day would not have been the same without her. We could go on forever but just know, if you have a chance to be around Kasey, you are very lucky. She is truly one of a kind.

ncé and I were both nervous to have our pictures taken since neither of us feel very comfortable in front of a camera but Kasey knew exactly how to make us loosen up and then how to keep us having fun the entire time! As someone who doesn't always love the way I look in pictures, I was absolutely blown away by the sneak peek photos we got just 24 hours after our shoot. Not only did she capture the love my fiancé and I share for each other in such beautiful images, I genuinely have never felt more beautiful. I cannot wait to see the whole album!! If you are still on the fence about booking Kasey for your engagement shoot, take this as your sign to book her ASAP!!

e were planning our wedding with an old dear friend, who truly wants the most perfect day for you and your partner, and then executes it perfectly. The day of our wedding, I didn't have to think about anything. Kasey and her team were on it to make sure we stayed on schedule, yet flexible to meet our requests, all while working to bring our dream day to life. We were sent an amazing teaser just three days after our wedding. They captured our day as artwork that uniquely represents us. I know these pictures will be pictures that we'll look back on and cherish forever. HIS- WOW!!! Kasey and her team are a powerhouse to work with. The prep work leading up to our wedding day showed. We were asked for our preferable shots, our backstory, and our general picture of the day. This made us more comfortable on the day of our wedding and she delivered with poise. Her eye for what works best to capture the pure joy and bliss of being in the moment on our special day was art. As Kelly and I were focused on what was important, us, she directed our family and friends with the utmost respect and diligence. With a little help from mother nature Kasey was able to capture the most spectacular sunset photos in our wedding attire. As the night progressed we hardly noticed they were around but they still captured the love we have for each other with bombshell shots. We felt her passion to capture the moment through her craft of artistic ability in the teasers sent a few days after our marriage. If you want the highest quality of wedding photography we highly recommend you work with Kasey and her team.

aphs, but her beautiful personality and understanding of the people she's photographing. She makes an effort to really get to know you, your family, and your vision for your day so that you're guaranteed to get everything you want. She made us comfortable in front of a camera, captured moments that I didn't even realize I wanted until I saw them, and was genuinely so fun to be around. Having her there makes you feel like you have another fun guest at your wedding that also happens to be taking pictures- and then they turn out AMAZING! We love Kasey and are so grateful to have had her be a part of our day.

get to know you and understand your vision. She is eager to create with you and the results are incredible. On the day of my wedding, she showed up and felt like a friend I've known forever. She's able to capture images that tell your story in such a captivating and unique way. Her art captures the emotions, movement, lightning, and all the feels of your special moments. I would recommend Kasey over and over again, working with her is a dream!

ial research, Kasey immediately stood out. We loved her style, types of imagery, and overall approach to capturing a wedding. What really stood out to us was Kasey's professionalism, passion for what she does, and relationship building with us. Before even hiring Kasey, she had a Zoom call with us, got to know us, and really took the time to listen to what we wanted, explained her approach to her work, and we could tell that she really cared about us. We actually had an initial date picked out for our wedding, but once we found out that Kasey was booked that day, we moved our ceremony up a day just so that she was available. This was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and we are so happy we did!! Having Kasey and Calum photograph and document our day is something we will be forever thankful for. Her work was absolutely perfect and we could not be more in love with the photos she took! From the very beginning, all the way up until our big day, Kasey was responsive, professional, kind, and her love for what she does really showed through. Through her questionnaires and check-in calls, we were always kept up to date and we created our idea shot list and photography needs. This entire process for us was absolutely stress-free, which is so valuable in the wedding planning process. Kasey and Calum captured the true emotion of our day and their work was exactly what we imagined and pictured! Our family and friends have seen some of the sneak peak photos already and an exact quote was "these are the best wedding pictures I have ever seen." That is no understatement and we could not agree more! When you hire Kasey, it will be one of the best decisions you make for your wedding. Kasey and Calum truly care about what they do, make the entire process stress-free and empower you to be yourself, enjoy your day, and capture the pure joy and emotion from your wedding day. Her work is amazing and on top of it all, she and Calum are just great people. We could not recommend them more and Kasey will be on speed-dial for any of our future photography needs in the Carolinas. Thank you so much to Kasey and Calum for your work, time, and skill, you helped make our day and its memory very special!

few weeks later and I’m blown away. They captured every moment. Moments I didn’t even see! And I felt like I was revisiting my entire wedding from start to finish. If you’re considering other photography options- don’t. Stop here. Kasey is a literal dream that will make your wedding or any event come to life. I am still in awe.

was available the entire time leading up to our shoot. She made us feel at ease the entire shoot which made the experience so so fun and it honestly flew by because we felt so comfortable. The photos came out so amazing. I can not recommend Kasey enough! Working with her was a dream!

of our lives. The sneak peak we viewed and shared with our families had us laughing and crying together, even days after our wedding. My Husband and I stumbled on Kasey Powell Weddings when researching photographers for our wedding in the Outer Banks. Upon searching for a photographer, we saw many traditional photographers with lots of posing. As soon as we saw Kasey’s candid style and pure talent, we knew we wanted her to be the one to capture our special day. From start to finish, Kasey answered all of our questions and helped us with things we would have never thought to ask. Her experience and knowledge is absolutely priceless and she eased any nerves we had. She is extremely organized and knows exactly how to navigate making your dream come to life! (Even down to what may seem like small details such as playing your favorite music, dancing around in the sand during candids with your new Husband🤍) Kasey far exceeded any expectation we had for our wedding day! They both arrived with the most positive and fun energy which is so contagious! My family is not the biggest “picture people” and they RAVED about her and her Husband, Callum. There were times during the ceremony, my family didn’t even realize they were there because of how amazing their special awareness is. This may not seem like a big deal but is something I can imagine has taken them a long time to master! They kept us on time without making anyone feel rushed. My Husband and I felt so comfortable and truly loved by Kasey and Callum! 🤍 In summary, the art they create is an investment you won’t regret! If you are looking for a sign to book with Kasey Powell Weddings, this is it! You will be so happy you did!

out to us! All her pictures look like they are straight out of a movie or a magazine! From the first voom call to the last kasey was amazing helping us create a time line that worked for us and asking all the right questions to make sure things ran smoothly! When the big day came kasey just got to work and did her thing managing around all the craziness that was going on! She knew all the right lighting and wasn’t scared to move a tv out of the room! She caught such raw and deep moments! Everyone at our wedding gave us so many compliments on way your photographer and her partner are so nice and really looked like they knew exactly what they were doing! Our sunset photo came out amazing she really captured all of our emotions and the pictures are AMAZING! I was so sad when she left and can’t wait to come back when it’s time for more pictures!

our partner are, your love story, your families, whatever is important to you, she will get to the root of it (even if you're not 100% what it is, she figures it out) and then capture it for you. She is an artist and one of the many reasons I chose her was her ability to make your wedding look like timeless art that I know we will hang in our home forever (Because of this talent, I think it sometimes gets over-looked and I want to acknowledge that she is also incredible at capturing your standard smile at the camera family wedding shots as well). My mom was blown away by her ability to wrangle our friends in family so easily and she said to me the day after our wedding that when Kasey said to "stand next to whomever or wherever feels most comfortable", she was blown away. Kasey makes you so comfortable to just be in the moment and enjoy your day without feeling like your whole day was posing for photos, but at the same time, captures your day in a way that brings back the emotion of the day every time you look at the photos. She is willing to go out of her comfort zone if it means capturing you and your partner's essence. I told Kasey I wanted to do editorial style getting ready photos and I didn't really go into much more detail. I meant to send her some inspo photos, but I honestly got overwhelmed and forgot. I brought a few props, she showed up with an entire backdrop set up and when I was finished my make-up I turned around to see a whole photo shoot set that was so "me", I couldn't believe it. Some of that was planned, but so much of Kasey's talent is her spontaneous creativity in the moment, which is so invaluable on a day where even the best laid plans need to change. Not to mention having her (and Callum) around the whole day is just the best addition to you and your family. If you want to be present and enjoy your day and have the most beautiful, personalized photos to show for it, Kasey is your girl.

ng our first time doing a photoshoot we didn't know what to expect, but she made it such a fun, memorable night! We couldn't stop laughing and smiling throughout the night and after the shoot. Kasey prompted us with questions that allowed us to just be conversational with each other and be how we normally would around each other. There was no forcing poses or anything like that. Honestly, she makes me want to do couples shoots more often😂. Couldn't recommend her enough to anyone who wants beautiful, natural, candid moments captured with their love!

h Kasey, it felt like she knew exactly what we were looking for and that she appreciated our unconventional story. Fast forward to the day of, we had already planned for moody shots rather than a perfect sunset with the impending tropical storm, and so did Kasey, but we showed up to the perfect Outer Banks sky with the perfect sunset. Kasey quickly got us comfortable with getting photographed and created a perfectly intimate photo session for myself and my wife. Looking at the sneak-peak of our photos, they were far beyond what we ever expected for this day. Would absolutely recommend time and time again. Thanks Kasey for making our day spectacular!

re magical and I cry every time I look at my daughter's pictures. Kacey has a very candid approach. Your wedding day will flow as it if she is not even there...and then your photos arrive and it’s like you are back in that moment, feeling all the love and happiness all over again!

r she was the perfect choice to capture our special day. Her attention to detail and creative eye resulted in cherished photographs, each one telling a story and evoking emotions that transport us back to that magical day. Kasey's warm demeanor created a comfortable atmosphere, allowing for natural moments to shine. We are forever grateful to Kasey for her exceptional work. She not only met our expectations but surpassed them, becoming an invaluable part of our day. We wholeheartedly recommend Kasey to anyone in search of a photographer who not only produces outstanding results but also brings a genuine and kind-hearted presence to the experience. Kasey is truly a gem in the world of photography.

g but Kasey makes the entire experience comfortable and fun. You can literally feel the emotion and love in these photos. There are so many options when it comes to wedding photography and with Kasey you not only get beautiful photos, but an experience. It’s clear that she loves what she does and it shows.

ther than just purely posed pictures. As soon as Kasey arrived, she felt like another friend and we felt so comfortable around her which was really important to us. We just got our full album back the other day and they are AMAZING! We can't thank her enough!

ecial day. Kasey has her process down, TRUST it! We both were happy to have them part of our special day and would recommend Kasey to anyone. Some of our vulnerable, happy tear moments were taken at Jockey's Ridge where Kasey played our favorite tunes and encouraged us to slow down and live in the moment. It was truly magical and still fills our hearts when reminiscing on that special day.
