About this vendor
Based in San Mateo, CA, I design artful wedding florals for couples throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Since 2016, I have been helping couples bring their dream weddings to life through thoughtfully composed floral environments that feel deeply personal and beautifully reflective of their story.
I offer fully customized proposals tailored to your aesthetic and priorities, creating everything from bouquets, boutonnieres, and wearable florals to centerpieces, cocktail hour accents, bar arrangements, cake flowers, altar installations, arches, and aisle décor. Each design is approached as a living composition — balanced, textured, and intentionally curated.
As an artistic colorist, I thoughtfully craft palettes that bring together vibrant blooms and natural greenery in a way that feels cohesive and elevated. I also offer a curated collection of rental décor, including wooden arches, candles, vases, lanterns, and draping fabrics to complete your overall atmosphere.
My background in fine art and textiles deeply informs my floral work. I studied at the Kansas City Art Institute and am a Master Textile Weaver, handcrafting fabrics on a loom — an experience that shapes my sensitivity to texture, movement, and composition. With additional experience in corporate event management and coordination, I bring both creativity and professionalism to every celebration.

As soon as I first spoke with Karyssa, I knew I wanted her to be our florist. She immediately saw my vision, and she was able to fit everything we wanted into our relatively modest...
budget. I was so happy with her creations for the arch for the ceremony, our bouquets, and our centerpieces. The flowers were gorgeous and went so well with the rest of the landscaping. The ceremony site looked incredible. She was super communicative and took the initiative to reach out to us to check in, which I really appreciated. I would recommend Karyssa to anyone planning their wedding!
Karyssa did the florals for our June 2026 wedding at Mountain Terrace, and everything was even better than we imagined.
I'll admit I was very particular. I knew exactly what I DID...
N'T want, and I'd never seen florals done quite the way I loved. Karyssa listened to every detail, across three planning calls and many emails, and turned it into a floral storyboard that tied our whole wedding
together.
Our palette was dusty rose, light pinks, cream, and lavender with soft peach accents and olive greenery. She brought it to life with roses, ranunculus, lisianthus, cosmos, and zinnias, and the result was soft, romantic, and organic, exactly what I'd pictured. Sustainability mattered to me too. I didn't want floral waste, so she used eco-
friendly floral foam, and she built our designs around in-season flowers, which kept costs down and cut the carbon emissions that come from shipping blooms across oceans.
My favorite piece was my bridal bouquet. I wanted to honor our moms, so Karyssa designed it as two smaller bouquets tied together with a ribbon. During our toasts, we pulled the bow and presented one to my mom and one to my mother-in-law. They loved it,
and several guests told us it was such a touching and unique moment.
Our ceremony arch was just as beautiful, and it was moved to our sweetheart table so we could enjoy it all night. She was also incredibly accommodating. She offered a budget-friendly estimate from the start and worked with us to keep costs down. When I was diagnosed with contact allergies before the wedding, she made sure none of those flowers went near my bouquet.
She even made a magnet-backed boutonniere so my husband didn't have to pin through his tux. Our simple single-rose centerpieces were exactly what we wanted, and she helped us plan how to turn them into take-home bouquets for guests.
We're so happy our flowers are now part of her portfolio. We highly recommend Karyssa to any couple looking for a florist who is creative, patient, and truly cares about bringing your vision to life!

p a meeting with me to discuss the colors and vibe we were looking for. She transformed our call into a storyboard (which was very helpful for me to see all the colors and flowers put together). I was able to easily cross out flowers/colors I wanted to exclude and Karyssa was able to easily adjust.
I had full faith that Karyssa was going to do great on the wedding day. She gave me the rundown of the show and delivered everything as promised. My husband's suit was a dark red, and she had so many great ideas on how we can complement the flowers with him. All the flowers turned out great and the arch really stood out as well. I appreciate Karyssa's organization, friendliness, flexibility, and skill!

She brought my vision for my wedding to life, but far beyond what I thought was possible. She was able to bring even the smallest details to life in the most beautiful ways. Not only did she create stunning bouquets and boutonnieres for our wedding party, but she set up our reception room with all of our decor. It was stunning, and by far my husband and my favorite part of our whole wedding day. I can’t recommend Karyssa enough!! Not only does her pricing blow her competitors out of the water, but her patience and fun made her my favorite vendor to work with :)
