Karen is hands down the best photographer you could ask for! She is incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to work with. From the very beginning, it felt like I was working with one...
of my best friends. My husband and I are definitely not "photo people," but she made us feel completely comfortable during our engagement session and throughout our wedding day.
On our wedding day, Karen seamlessly blended into the background while somehow capturing every big moment and all the little in-between moments that made the day so special. Her photos are absolutely stunning, and we will treasure them forever. We truly cannot recommend Karen enough!
Karen is a GEM!! She’s a must on your wedding day. No one tells you that you spend more time with your photographer and videographer on your wedding day so it’s so important to not...
only choose someone who is talented but someone who is kind and supportive. Karen made me feel so beautiful - she is so genuine and kind. She is also so incredibly patient in all the chaos! Her editing style is also just absolute gold and totally timeless. She captured all our special moments so perfectly and we are so incredibly thankful to have spent our special day with her! If you’re lucky enough to get on her calendar, do it!!!
We also elected to add a second shooter - Karen edited all of those shots too but it was really nice to have the second shooter for reception details/ photos of the groomsmen so that Karen could stay with me/ shoot all the “important” shots. I was hesitant to add the second shooter because things quickly add up $$ but you spend all this time planning/designing and it’s absolutely worth the extra $$ to make sure everything is photographed so you can go back and look at it all. The day flies and it’s all a blur, and there’s truly nothing you take from the day besides photos and videos so I highly recommend adding this into your budget.
I also did bridal portraits with Karen and I’m so glad I did. She helped boost my confidence in front of the camera before the wedding and it saved us lots of time on wedding day.
Karen is amazing to work with! She makes everyone feel at ease including those in who claim to be less than photogenic. Every picture perfectly captures the emotion and romance of ...
our wedding day. We can’t wait to cherish and show off her photos for the rest of our lives.
Karen is the best in the business! We worked with her for both our engagement and wedding day photos, and spoke with her a few times in between. She makes you feel comfortable and ...
provides her advice for photo poses while also works with you for any visions of photos you might have. In addition to her beautiful, timeless photos, she’s just a kind, happy person. Karen will provide you with the most stunning photos of your event.
I would give Karen 10 stars if I could! Not only are Karen's photos absolutely stunning, but she is extremely professional and comforting to take photos with. We had multiple frien...
ds and family complimenting the colors and quality of the photos. I have had 0 experience taking photographs and she made me and my husband feel like pros by the end of our wedding day. Her attention to detail is unmatched and we are in love with all 70 of our wedding preview pics and engagement pics. Karen got us 40 preview pictures the morning after our wedding (WHAT!) and our engagement pictures 1 week after the shoot. We are really looking forward to receiving the rest of our album!
I cannot say enough good things about Karen and her amazing talent! Even though we had never met, she made it seem like we had known each other before hand. Not only was she profes...
sional, she was very personable, kind, kept things flowing, and stayed on track with all the moving pieces to our wedding and timeline! She is a master behind the camera and with the preview that we’ve seen so far, we are over the moon and cannot wait for the rest! You will be making the BEST choice, hiring Karen for your photography needs!
Karen is the best! 💗 She is a genuine, sweet, and caring person, who helps to make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We booked her for our Engagement Photos and she ...
worked hard to help our photo dreams come to life and went above and beyond. We then had her photo our Wedding and despite working through bugs and heat, she and her team captured our big day perfectly! Her work is beautiful. She is super timely with edits and thoughtful touches. Highly, highly recommend working with Karen! She is everything you would want in a photographer!

e our full gallery. Our church had restrictions on where she could be and even with the restrictions she got us the timeless close up shots that we really wanted. She is hard working, extremely talented, and willing to work with you to tailor your needs. We are blown away by Karen and are so thrilled to tell people she is our wedding photographer!

te pleasure to work with and I would recommend her to anyone looking to photograph a special time in their life. She is responsive, kind, flexible with your needs, and TALENTED! We just received our wedding gallery back (in record time - only a few weeks later) and the photos are GORGEOUS! Hire Karen - you won't regret it!!!

ay. From the initial consultation to the wedding day, she was more than happy to coach me through the photography process. She is a very responsive vendor (which is amazing to have while planning a wedding) and she's willing to work with your particular needs or wants (such as styles of photos, specialized timelines, or making sure important events are captured throughout the day). She makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera and encourages you to just enjoy the day- whether at the beach, strolling downtown or getting ready to walk down the aisle. Wouldn't recommend any other photographer in the Charleston area!
I can’t even put into words how amazing Karen is!! Not only are her pictures just beautiful and are perfection, but her getting to know us and our relationship made it even more fu...
n and memorable. The moment we met her, we just knew everything was going to go perfect and so smooth throughout the whole process. She does know how to make you laugh and smile even more when your cheeks are hurting from pictures, haha!! She is the absolutely best. Can’t wait to use her again in the future!!!

l! We had our engagement and wedding photos taken by Karen and she has captured such priceless moments we can look back on forever. Working with Karen was so effortless we enjoyed every interaction with her! You can tell she loves not only what she does but capturing the best moments for YOU! She takes the time to get to know you and makes your photo session / Big Day more than just a “pose and say cheese” event. We’re so blessed to have Karen as our photographer and we would choose her again every time!

listically, I love the lighter, brighter, romantic feeling to the photos. I also LOVE how quickly she gets several photos for a great preview out! Her turnaround times have been amazing and we have enjoyed working with her so much!
Since the moment that we met Karen, we were blown away. Not only is she the absolute sweetest person, but her pure talent is out of this world. Our engagement session was so much...
fun and it was great to get to know her before our big day. As soon as we saw those pictures, I knew that our wedding day would be absolutely perfect because of her, and we were right. We got the sneak peak from our wedding pictures literally less than a day after the wedding. I would have been fine with just 1 pictured, but she sent us 40 amazing pictures. I just got the full gallery of pictures and I cannot stop looking through them. My friends and family have been blown away by her photos. She captured our day so perfectly and I feel like we have gained a lifelong friend! She is an absolute superstar.
We are so thankful that we found Karen to photograph or engagement session and wedding. She is the most kind, sweet and tentative person. She remembers details and really connects ...
with you on a personal level to ensure she gets the photographs just the way you want them. Our photos turned out absolutely beautiful for both our engagement session and wedding. She was very knowledgeable of the city of Charleston and took us to Hampton park and down to Rainbow Row for our engagement session. She posted sneak peaks so quickly and we got our entire gallery back shortly after that. On our wedding day we return to Hampton park and got more beautiful photographs that we will cherish forever. After working with Karen I feel like I have made a friend and can’t wait to return to Charleston to have her capture more moments in our lives in the future.
Wow where to even begin?! Karen did such an amazing job. We had three sessions with her this year our engagement session, our wedding, and a beach session in SC. The photos from ea...
ch session were beyond amazing! I am so thankful she captured our day. I have a huge family and she got all my family formal pictures in 30 minutes which I was amazed by because they can be a handful😂 She captured so many bride and groom portraits that I’m having a really hard time picking out which ones to hang up on the walls because we love so many of them. My point is she will go above and beyond and meet whatever your needs/wants are for your special day! Definitely recommend💜💜 Thanks so much again Karen for everything!!
My now fiancé, Colin, found Karen on Instagram when searching for a photographer for his proposal. As visitors to Charleston, it was important the photographer could recommend a gr...
eat location for Colin to pop the question as we both had never been to the city before. What Karen did for us was far beyond our expectations!
On engagement day, Colin was leading me to the location (boardwalk at the battery) where he was going to pop the question. As we were walking to this location, it immediately began pouring rain. Shortly after we arrived and Colin dropped down on one knee, I was introduced to Karen. Karen celebrated us and offered to take a few more photos of us in the pouring rain. She recognized the weather wasn’t on our side for one of the biggest moments in our life and offered to meet up again the following day to get some more shots when we were dry.
We spent the next day taking photos around downtown Charleston and spent a couple hours with Karen. It was this time spent where Karen made us feel so comfortable – we probably had more fun just getting to spend time with Karen but the photographs speak for themselves.
Karen’s genuine personality and relaxed approach are sure to make your photography experience one you’ll never forget! She’ll forever be a great part of our story.

th our budget. Our engagement session was both fun and relaxing. She even captured some adorable photos of our puppy.
Our wedding did not go as planned due to COVID-19 but Karen was quick to respond and was able to work with our ever changing plans. Because we were unable to have our full bridal parties or full families there for group photos, Karen took extra time to capture some magical photos of my husband and I. While our wedding was not at all what we planned, Karen remained a constant encouragement. Her photos and her personality made our day extra special. I highly recommend her- especially for weddings during a pandemic.
Thank you so much Karen!
Karen's excitement through the entire process was infectious! She took time to answer all our questions, gave us several package options based on what was most important to us, and...
was so flexible during uncertainties of the coronavirus pandemic. Neither Jordan nor I particularly enjoy posing for photos as a rule, but she kept us laughing and smiling the whole time and got a lot of great shots even while we were busy during the reception. We have received many compliments on the photos and were so pleased with how she interacted with us and our guests. We are so grateful to have had the privilege of working with her!
