Kara gave us a whole tour of Charleston and shared so many fun historic stories, our shoot quickly turned into a very memorable expereince in Charleston. You can tell from the first conversation that Kara tries and gets to know you. From texting me on the weekends of things she saw that I would like or just sending recommendations to me. She is so easy to work with, and I truly wish we would work with her all the time. Her work is also breathtaking you can take each phot comes from her heart. Needless to say we LOVE Kara!!!!!!!!

you want to know what it’s like to have this talented women capture your special day, just imagine you’ve handed a camera to a friend whilst on holiday and asked them to take your picture – because that’s exactly how it’s feels – simple, fun and uncomplicated.
You are rarely aware she is taking photos – just that she supports everything that’s happening which helps a lovely atmosphere develop both during the day and in the photographs she captures.
As a wedding planner, I can’t tell you how important and pleasurable it is to work with other industry professionals
who have the same mindset and ethics, and who share the belief that we are all one big team, working together to make your day magical. She is wonderful in all ways!

king with Kara during our first call I knew she was going to be the perfect fit. When my fiance and I first met Kara during our engagement photos she made us feel super relaxed and comfortable. Throughout the months up until our wedding, Kara maintained great contact and kept us in the loop with her timeline along with any information she needed from us. She was always quick to respond and provided us with so much detail to make us feel comfortable leading up to our big day. Unfortunately, the weekend of my Charleston wedding was when Hurricane Ian hit. Kara was very sympathetic and told us she would do whatever we needed for our special day. We ended up having a small intimate ceremony that Kara so perfectly captured. She was great with sticking to the timeline for the day and kept everyone focused during photos. We decided to have our reception on a later date and we are so happy that Kara will be joining us again! She has been extremely accommodating for our second go around and I am super excited to see our photos for our reception. Our engagement photos and intimate ceremony photos were absolutely incredible and I am SOOO happy I got to know Kara and have her there for our special day(s). She is the BEST!!!!

ur kids one day they’d see the love we had for one another & she delivered. She would answer any & every question I had no matter how ridiculous or late in the evening it may be. With Kara, you get so much more than a photographer because she quickly becomes a friend who may be more invested in your wedding than yourself.
