About this vendor
Hey, I'm Kaitlin.
If you’re looking for a light-hearted, boisterous creative to work with, you’ve found her.
I’m a storyteller, both with words (hey, once an English teacher always an English teacher) and images. That’s what I’m here to do - document the story of one of your greatest celebrations.
My work is heavily focused on the authentic, unplanned moments, the candids. By and large, my approach is observational and real, creating images that are genuine representations of you, those you love, and the space and moments you share.
I create true-to-life images that will bring you back to some of your sweetest, most treasured moments for years to come.
Intrigued, but not sure what comes next? Let’s connect! That’s where the magic is after all - in togetherness.

Kaitlin truly captured our spirit and was an absolute joy to work with from day one. She brought our love to life in both our engagement photos and our wedding shots. She went abov...
e and beyond every step of the way to make us feel comfortable and confident and to create photos that felt authentic to us. Couldn't recommend her more highly!
Kaitlin has been such a pleasure to work with. Her photos are amazing, and she did a great job making us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She was game for anything when it ...
came to our engagement shoot—even lying down in the middle of Wharf Street to get that perfect shot! I would give her a 10/10 and would hire her again in a heartbeat. I can't wait for our wedding with her this June!
Kaitlin is amazing to work with. As a photographer who has done weddings myself, I had high standards and specific requests that weeded out a lot of people during my search. Kaitli...
n immediately stood out to me as someone with the ability to capture the essence of a couple. As I browsed her galleries I felt like I knew the couples and their stories by the time I was done. My wife and I are very introverted, shy, and not used to being the center of attention — let alone in front of a camera. After consulting with Kaitlin it was even more clear that she was the perfect photographer for us. Kaitlin listened to our requests, asked us questions to get a better understanding of what sort of coverage we’d like, and checked in multiple times leading up to the wedding day to go over plans.
On the day of, Kaitlin was incredible. She set her flash units up perfectly to give a beautiful sense of lighting to our indoor pictures. Kaitlin was quick and professional with our family formals without feeling like she was rushing anyone. We love our newlywed portraits, largely due to how natural it felt to work with her—again this was huge for us as two people who are a bit camera shy. Our reception photos are equally beautiful, she captured meaningful candid moments without feeling like she was standing between us and the moments happening around us.
If you’re like my wife and me and aren’t used to being on camera, I would 100% recommend booking a practice session with Kaitlin either for engagement photos or couples’ photos. As a photographer I’m used to being behind the camera and not in front of it. She helped us feel comfortable and it also helped her see how we interact together as a couple.
At no point did we feel like Kaitlin was commandeering our schedule to check off boxes on a shot-list. She was seamlessly integrated everything. Genuinely, I cannot recommend Kaitlin enough. Working with her is like having a best friend there take your wedding photos.
My husband and I hired Kaitlin to photograph our elopement in Maine in October of 2023. We were coming from Ohio and did not quite have the details laid out yet. She was incredibly...
flexible and extremely helpful during our wedding day and found some amazing spots for some truly amazing pictures. Our wedding day just really would not have been the same without her.
My husband and I could not recommend a better photographer for whatever occasion you hope to document! Kaitlin had wonderful ideas of locations to use and fun “activities“ to captu...
re before our two minute elopement at city hall! It felt natural to spend two hours together, and the photos she took are such beautiful mementos we will cherish forever. Thank you, Kaitlin!!
We booked with Kaitlin after looking for a photographer that felt like our style and vibe for our destination wedding, after a phone call with her it was total love! We met for our...
engagement photos and it felt like we were hanging with a friend vs feeling uncomfortable in front of the camera. She has this energy about her to make everyone feel comfortable! She really tried to get to know members of the family and that helped on the wedding weekend. She is extremely organized and easy to communicate with and that came in handy when the week of our wedding we had to move our Saturday wedding up a day due to a forecasted hurricane. She was so flexible with us, went with the flow and did everything she could to make it work. I honestly could go on and on, but bottom line is she is the best of the best and by far the most talented photographer I have ever worked with! We will forever have Kaitlin take our photos!
I can’t recommend Kaitlin more highly. As I started the wedding planning process, I was overwhelmed by the number of details I needed to sort out. Working with Kaitlin was seamless...
and actually enjoyable! She has a great attitude, makes things easy for her clients, and delivered gorgeous photos. From washed out roads to temperamental weather, Kaitlin navigated it all with skill and a smile! Her system for delivering the photos is equally straightforward. For a professional photographer that alleviates stress from the planning process and captures the raw emotion of your special day, book Kaitlin!
My partner and I didn’t know what to expect when we met Kaitlin for our engagement shoot, as we’ve never gotten professional photos done before. Within minutes of hanging out with ...
Kaitlin, she had us feeling not only comfortable but truly lost in the moments she set up for us. It was intimate and fun, and Kaitlin encouraged all of it! The photos she captured were absolutely stunning. They all captured such natural moments between the two of us! We can’t wait to have her at our wedding not only as our photographer, but as someone who is now part of this love story along with our other family and friends!
Kaitlin went above and beyond our expectations from the first moment we messaged her! We met with her over zoom to discuss what kind of wedding we were interested in and to gauge e...
ach others' personalities and we clicked instantly! She has been incredibly receptive to our ideas and responsive throughout the whole process as we near our wedding date and even spent an entire day running around Portland with my fiancé and I for our engagement shoot. The photo shoot was fun with little to no direction necessary and came out looking incredible while managing to incorporate all of our ideas for locations, outfits, and colors. Kaitlin consistently goes the extra mile and put 100% of her energy into all of our ideas! I will be recommending her to all of our friends in the future and can't wait to have her shooting us on our wedding day!

ur vision. She organized several location options for us and helped us achieve exactly what we were looking for. Kaitlin helped us feel at ease in front of the camera and guided us through a mix of posed and candid shots. We were a little nervous going in, but it ended up being a lot of fun.

one communication, creative with a myriad of ideas, and went above and beyond to create a photoshoot experience that exceeded our expectations. Kaitlin is truly talented, and I am incredibly thankful to have worked with her for our photoshoot!
Kaitlin was wonderful! I know absolutely nothing about photographers, so I did what any smart groom would do…left it all to my wife. Unsurprisingly, she made a great choice. Kaitli...
n’s upbeat personality and infectious energy were a perfect fit. She was organized and efficient during the ceremony, and somehow captured hundreds of amazing photos at the reception with me barely even noticing she was there. It was a torrential downpour for our entire wedding day, and Kaitlin graciously offered (at no extra cost) to meet two days later to capture all of the outdoor locations in sunshine. I was an overtired, grumpy newlywed on this day and once again Kaitlin’s patience and professionalism were on display. We received our finished photos recently and love them! You’ll be very happy with choosing Kaitlin, both as a person and a photographer.

ordinator. We felt that we could be ourselves while she photographed us. The pictures that she sent in our photo preview really captured the joy and love of the day. She was extremely friendly, kind and attentive. She was an absolute pleasure to work with.
A few weeks before the wedding we had a final call with Kaitlin. We reviewed our timeline of events, and gave an initial list of what we wanted for family photos. We wanted our family photos to take about 20 minutes so we could enjoy the majority of cocktail hour. Working seamlessly with our day of wedding coordinator, we were able to run through our family photo shot list in the allotted amount of time. It was amazing!

end our wedding day in close proximity with. She took beautiful photos that so fully captured the spirit of the day and the details that made up the event. Our album has so many photos and I was especially impressed that as a single photographer she captured so much. Kaitlin went above and beyond for us and even stayed later then planned to get photos of all our guests swimming later in our reception. She was such a pleasure to work with through the whole process and I have already reached out to her to work with her again!

incredible portraits and candid shots.
We had the good fortune of finding Kaitlin and having her document our wedding and are thrilled with the memories she’s presented us with. She went above and beyond, from before sunrise to well after sunset, and many of our guests made it a point to let us know how friendly and kind she was to them. We are not accustomed to being in front of a camera - Kaitlin’s easygoing, warm personality made us feel comfortable and allowed us to get wonderful photos of one of the most important days of our lives.
She certainly has a good eye for classic “standard” wedding photos and will walk you (and your family/friends) through them in an organized way, but she really shines with her ability to become a part of your crowd/gathering to capture the real moments – she’s a fast friend. Moreso than an album of portraits, you’ll have an in depth documentary and chronicle of the laughter, joy, and love of your day – if that’s your style, Kaitlin is your photographer.
Look no further for your wedding photographer, Kaitlin is the BEST! We instantly became comfortable with her at our engagement photo session, where yes, posing and kissing in front...
of a camera can be a bit awkward for some. But Kaitlin does a terrific job of making the whole session easy and a blast. She also has a great sense of humor and is incredibly reliable, adaptable, and helpful in the chaos of the wedding day. We are already thrilled with our preview of our wedding photos, and cannot stop looking at them. Kaitlin is on top of making sure your day is captured beautifully. We are so grateful for her and the amazing pictures we will have to look back on :)

r love in each picture. She is extremely kind , professional & great dealing with family. Kaitlin made the photography part of our wedding day the easiest part! She was punctual, professional, and made us laugh quite a bit. The photos turned out great and her price was more than fair. We will cherish her photos for the rest of our lives!
Kaitlin has also photographed 3 of my friends and my brothers wedding after ours, because they were so impressed with her work. She also captured my sons baptism at a last minutes notice when we found out my mother was going into home hospice. I can't thank her enough for all the photos she got with my mom and my newborn before she passed away.
Thanks again, Kaitlin.
