We could not be happier with our experience with K Herman Photography! We worked with Kristina and Vanessa throughout our wedding weekend and absolutely loved having them there.
We first worked with Kristina for our engagement photos, and she made the whole experience so fun and comfortable. Neither of us had ever had professional photos taken before, so we really didn’t know what to expect, but she made it feel so easy. She was also great to work with throughout planning, super easy to communicate with and really helpful when we were finalizing our wedding day timeline and figuring out when to fit in all of the photos we wanted.
One of the biggest reasons we chose K Herman Photography was because we wanted our photos to look natural and not overly edited, and they absolutely nailed it.
Vanessa photographed our Welcome Party the night before the wedding and was so delightful to work with! She was bopping around all night getting photos of different groups and so many great candids without ever feeling intrusive. We had family and friends comment afterward on how great she was too.
On the wedding day, Kristina and Vanessa showed up early and got right to work on our details and getting-ready photos. Having two photographers was so nice because one could be with the girls and one with the guys, and we never felt like we were missing anything. They were also great at wrangling our wedding party and families and got through all of our requested photos really efficiently.
Our reception photos might be some of my favorites. They got thoughtful photos of us with guests at so many of our tables, which wasn't even something I thought to ask for but I'm SO glad we have them. And the dance floor photos are so good! I barely noticed Kristina and Vanessa in the crowd, but somehow they captured all of the energy of the night.
And I have to mention the turnaround time! Kristina surprised us with more than 100 sneak peeks by MIDNIGHT on our wedding night, which was amazing. We ended up with more than 1,700 photos from our wedding weekend and couldn't be happier with how they turned out.
We would recommend Kristina and the K Herman Photography team over and over again!

Kristina was absolutely AMAZING, she was worth every single penny we spent! We seriously couldn't have asked for a better photographer. We live in Texas (but got married in Wyoming...
in GTNP), so we never got to do an engagement shoot with Kristina but she made sure we got to work together by throwing in an engagement shoot a few days before the wedding. She brought her husband Alex as her helper/extra photographer. They both were incredibly personable, friendly, and made us feel comfortable immediately. We had no issues just being ourselves, which was so important to us. It was very evident that she and her husband Alex cared about us and making our day perfect, especially when my brother had a medical emergency in the middle of family photos. She was organized, on time, and super responsive to every question I had along the way. Truly THE best photographer I have worked with, and I have worked with a bunch. I so wish I lived in Cincinnati and could use her for all our future photos. Highly recommend her and her team!

During our engagement shoot, it was wonderful to get to know her and her style more intimately. As two photo-shy people, she made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and completely eased our nerves about photos on the wedding day.
On the actual wedding day, Kristina and Vanessa were professional, efficient, kind, and on top of every detail. Despite it being a very long day of photography, they made it feel effortless. We had planned our shot list together in advance, and Kristina made thoughtful recommendations I never would have considered but absolutely loved. Everything turned out beautifully. Our bridal party, parents, and relatives all had such positive things to say.

Kristina and Cullan were absolutely amazing! They worked tirelessly throughout our wedding, capturing every big and small moment. It’s honestly hard to believe there were only two of them, because they somehow managed to photograph everything — from so many different angles — and capture all the joy, love, and emotion.
I really wanted a lot of candid shots, and they delivered that and so much more. The emotion they captured tells a story — one that we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives. To top it off, we got a sneak preview the very next day, and our full gallery was delivered just a few weeks after the wedding. We were so excited to receive them so soon, and they completely exceeded our expectations.
Kristina was professional, friendly, flexible, and truly invested in making sure our photos were perfect. We’ll absolutely be using K Herman Photography for all of our future events and family portraits.

search and we found K Herman Photography. From the very first email they have been a absolute delight, very attentive and responsive to every question we might have had. They have several plans at varying price points which is always a bonus. We opted for the basic package and just because i use the word basic don't let that fool you, you get plenty of bang for your buck. On the actual day of the wedding the photographers who were assigned to us were an absolute delight to work with, very pleasant and courteous of any and all dumb photos we wanted to have while lending there obvious level of expertise helping us get those more "traditional" photos that we needed. Once the wedding was over and done with we got our first bundle of photos within a few days showcasing various parts of our wedding. The full set of pictures came a few weeks later which we were told well ahead of time that it might take a few weeks instead of quicker as their head photo editor would be away on vacation during that time. We were completely fine with it taking longer but it was certainly nice to have the heads up regardless. Every photo came out amazing and downloading them from the photographer was very seamless. They do offer print services with various materials such as canvas, metal, or standard photo paper which we did not take advantage of but it is nice to have them offer such a service. Overall we are very happy that we went with K Herman and will definitely recommend them to anyone who might need photographer services and we will definitely think of them first should we need a photographer in the future.

y fiancée and I hired Kristina for our engagement photos in the fall. We’d never had professional photos taken and she made us both feel so comfortable. Not to mention she managed to take amazing photos with both of our dogs looking right at the camera. We immediately hired her for our Spring 2025 wedding. We got married last month, and it rained the entire day. It was absolutely perfect despite the weather and a large part of that is because of Kristina, Vanessa and Cullan! We still got all the shots we planned, we danced in the rain and got our dream canoe photos in the lake. I am so thankful they stuck with us in the rain and made sure we had the best day.

lients. We went for the 6-hour package for our wedding in Nov 2024 at Alcove, which was just perfect for us because we didn’t have a wedding party, so our pictures went a little faster. Kristina helped us set our timeline just right for all the photos we wanted, and to make sure the ceremony was timed for the natural light at our venue. Day-of, Kristina and Vanessa were great to work with and made us feel so comfortable (we are not photo people!). We are so happy with the full package of photos, and how easy they were to access and share. Kristina is our first choice for future photography needs!

rge so we could get shots in one of my favorite places, she let me send her a ton of example poses and hit on all of them while we were there as well as a bunch of her own expert poses and angles to create the most beautiful pictures! I know she spent way more time than quoted both on the phone for planning and at our engagement shoot making sure we got everything my fiance and I had wanted! We did more planning phone calls and shared pictures of the various photos I wanted to achieve for the wedding as the big day approached. I was especially wanting to get these beautiful veil shots that I've seen other brides get! Whenever I texted Kristina she got back to me asap! She was a huge part of my support system. I'm so glad I had her and her assistant as part of our wedding team. On the big day she again got all the shots I wanted, including all the veil shots and some of my absolute favorite- train track photos! She edited the photos beautifully and got them out to me in time to post for our 1 month anniversary! She even had a sneak peak for us the night of the wedding, i didn't even know that was possible! The thing i appreciated the most about Kristina is that she ALWAYS valued our opinions and made us feel like we had a say in what we would get! If this review sounds at all exaggerated I promise it's still an understatement, we seriously loved working with Kristina!
