TLDR: Just say yes to Just Say Yes! Lol sorry, I couldn’t resist. But seriously they’re AMAZING. Working with Just Say Yes was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning. After our first inquiry, we met with Raquel for a quick run through of her company’s offerings (and unofficially and mutual vibe check). She was informative and kind, organized and thorough. It’s worth saying she was genuine in offering her congratulations to us - it seems small, or like a given, but I really noticed it when other potential vendors didn’t acknowledge the significance of the event. Our venue required a Day-Of coordinator at minimum, and we opted for JSY’s 2-month Coordination package. We saw a bunch of 1-month coordination packages offered from other companies, but the 2-months that Just Say Yes offers was SO WORTH IT! At the 2-month mark, we were introduced to Kiara, who would proceed to be our chillest cheerleader and task manager. At that point, we had secured most but not all of our vendors. Kiara was reassuring that we still had time, but not THAT much time. I genuinely think that if we had gone with a 1-month or even just a day-of coordinator, we would have been a stress mess. Kiara kept track of all the scheduling details and worked with our other vendors behind the scenes so we didn't have to. She nudged us a few times to figure out after party details when we were tempted to give up and just flood a nearby bar after the wedding. She encouraged us to at least carve out 10 minutes on the wedding day to do a quick rehearsal and block where everyone would walk, sit and stand. She and her two assistants kept the day running smoothly, and it has since come to my attention from family members, that they helped mitigate weird bumps along the way without it becoming drama or an issue that my husband or I needed to deal with. (As far as I understand one example of this; some unnamed relative or family friend was insisting on sitting next to my parents at dinner, despite having their own assigned seat, and Kiara nonchalantly was like “that’s not gonna work” lol). I was truly sad to say goodbye at the end of the night. And while I obviously hope getting married is a one and done kinda deal, I would absolutely work with Just Say Yes again.

You want Raquel on your team. For almost a year and a half with planning, she gave so much of her time, effort, care, and attention to make sure our wedding day was exactly what we dreamed of and envisioned. Every time we had a crazy idea or an indecisive moment (of which there were many!!), it was met with support, patience, and a can-do attitude. We knew that we were in the best hands and Raquel was someone we could trust. She keeps you on track for all things during the planning process and budgeting. She can truly juggle it all! They constantly and consistently told us what to expect next, gave us a clear plan and roadmap, and made the process painless and simple. My (now) wife and I were already pretty organized and prepared, but it's near impossible to imagine having gotten through our perfect day without Raquel's help and guidance throughout the finer details leading up to the wedding - even more so on the wedding day! We went with the 2-month coordination package, as we felt that we had enough time to do the majority of the planning ourselves, but still wanted help closer to the date. We came into the planning process with no knowledge of what it involved or how complicated it would be, especially in New York City. Raquel and her team helped us with everything big and small. e with at least the three month option, because that first meeting with Raquel took such a huge load off our shoulders and I wish I'd felt that relief sooner! I had sort of assumed that going with the cheapest, shortest coordination package would mean we would be handled by a junior coordinator, but Raquel herself was our point person, there with us every step of the way and she never made us feel like we had anything less than her full attention and energy. She confidently talked us through every part of the wedding celebrations and made sure that we were covering all the bases - including plenty of aspects we hadn't even thought of. One of the (many) reasons we went with Just Say Yes was Raquel's background in logistics - and those skills were immediately apparent. She easily took the reins on coordinating all our various vendors - even those that only ever gave us general emails or worked with third-party delivery services, and her master spreadsheet was really helpful for tracking and recording all the tasks ahead. She was also great at keeping our procrastinator selves on track, and dealing with our inevitable last-minute asks. She's also the FASTEST texter on the planet, which is really helpful when you're panicking! Just Say Yes was recommended by our venue, and was already familiar with almost every vendor we worked with.
