Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace Museum is a historic and welcoming wedding venue in Savannah, GA. This was the childhood home of the beloved founder of the Girl Scouts of the USA, Juliette Gordon Low, an organization that began with 18 Savannah girls in 1912 and now serves millions of girls throughout the country and abroad.
Four days before Christmas, in 1886, Juliette and her new husband hosted their reception within these very same walls. Now, you and your partner can follow suit by saying "I do" and beginning your own love story in this timeless, romantic setting. The Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace Museum offers an enchanting ceremony and reception experience in its elegant courtyard garden. Moss-draped oaks and cobblestone streets bring centuries of Southern charm as your loved ones gather together to celebrate an enduring tale of love. The Birthplace Garden is flexible and caters to all types of events, accommodating 100 guests for a standing cocktail reception, 64 people for the ceremony, and 40 for a sit-down dinner.
Among many other services, they will help you choose the ideal vendors for your celebration, offering you a list of approved options to make your decision even easier. Before the big day arrives, you and your wedding party can arrange for a 45-minute rehearsal dinner at the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace Museum. This gathering can occur the day before your wedding to ensure every detail is in place and that last-minute arrangements can be made if need be. Reach out to them today to get started.

Was a very enjoyable tour and very well kept house to show the birthplace of Juliet Gordon-Lowe. I was in Girl Scout from K-12. I appreciate getting to go as my older self as I think my younger self would not have found it as intriguing.

If you are or have ever been a Girl Scout it’s a must do place to visit. Staff are friendly in the museum and store. Store offered Girl Scouts memorabilia and other gift shop items. There are patches and pins available.

Kinsley gave a wonderful tour. She really knew her stuff! It's a great house tour even if you aren't affiliated with the Girl Scouts.

Ever wanted to see where the founder of the Girl Scouts lived?
The staff was super nice! I think honestly it was the guest interaction piece that I am grading. The house is beautiful. It has been restored.
The Girl Scouts founder does not hav...
e your atypical experience. You’ll be surprised to learn about the trials and tribulations, especially of her marriage.
One story that you probably won’t hear: The ghost story of Nelly and Will (William) Gordon is one of Savannah's most romantic and famous paranormal legends. It centers on the couple's deep devotion to one another, culminating in a deathbed reunion where Will’s spirit allegedly returned to escort his dying wife into the afterlife.
