I cannot speak highly enough about Julie! She recently did the makeup for my wedding, and we all felt and looked gorgeous! I’ve been in lots of weddings and never had makeup that I...
was more happy with! One of my bridesmaids even said that she felt more beautiful than she did on her own wedding day! Plus, Julie is a dream to work with! Since I was coming in from out of town, I didn’t have time to do a makeup trial and Julie gave me such peace of mind that she knew exactly what to do. That was seriously an understatement! She made me look so pretty - I’ve never felt more beautiful in my life! She is a true professional and an expert at what she does. I could not recommend her any more highly!

when brides are unrecognizable and I hate when brides look ‘ordinary’ on a day that’s supposed to be extraordinary. Julie highlights each person’s best features and skillfully made sure our best features came out lovely in the photos. Julie was professional and FAST! She did all 5 ladies in less than 2.5 hours. If you need make up in Philly, call Julie!

is hectic and she was able to work around my schedule meeting me on a Saturday night for a makeup trial. She even drove from Philadelphia to the Jersey shore to make my bridesmaids, my mom, my mother in law, and I look georgeous. I loved my makeup and loved that it stayed on the entire day! I highly recommend using Julie for your next event or outting. I have never worn false eyelashes but she made me feel so comfortable wearing them I have since worn them.
Julie Wolkov's superb talent as a make up artist is unsurpassed. She applied makeup to the entire bridal party, which included teenagers, bridesmaids, two family matriarchs and, of...
course, the bride. Her artistry is both subtle and transformative. She knows how to achieve the perfect effect for each face and to bring out the person's best features with subtlety. The final "look" was special without being theatrical or excessive and, best of all, it held up all night without any additional powdering or touch-ups. In addition, Julie is absolutely personable and delightful. She is fun to be with; she was relaxed when I was completely panicked and her personality made the experience even more wonderful. She was amazing and I'd recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat.
