We had our reception at Julian’s and I would go back there in a heartbeat. Holly, the coordinator, is friendly, easy-going, transparent, and able to answer all of your questions (and I felt like I had a million). Planning a wedding is difficult and it is work, especially the months leading up. I recommend finding a good DJ and a good venue because those two vendors drive the flow of your wedding day. The ancillary staff at Julian’s, those who serve food, drink, and set-up are kind and extremely helpful. My guests were extremely complimentary of the venue overall. The character/architecture of the venue is charming, the food was awesome, and the price was right. Our wedding day ran smoothly: the food was excellent, the drinks were great, there is plenty of parking, and cleaning up was easy (as well as setting up!). I honestly did not worry about ANYTHING. I loved my wedding and even followed-up with Holly afterwards. We will definitely be back to work with Julian’s, whether it will be catering or using their smaller event space, Julian’s is a keeper. I highly recommend making a date to see this place if you are in the early stages of planning.

Elegant and Expansive Julian's Catering & Banquet Facility is an iconic property and wedding venue located in Washington, PA. These attractive premises provide event spaces for a variety of group sizes. You may book this property and call on their team of experienced professionals to service your special occasion. The Premises Julian's Catering & Banquet Facility is a city landmark with a long history. This property dates from 1900 with its original hardwood floors and appealing decor, just around the corner from the newly renovated Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Train Station. It is a short walking distance from Washington & Jefferson College, laying claim to the oldest college in the United States west of the Allegheny Mountains. A few city blocks farther away are famed historical buildings such as LeMoyne House and the Bradford House. The area has deep roots in the early United States, witnessing events such as the Whiskey Rebellion, the Underground Railroad, and the American Civil War. The main banquet hall space seats between 80 and 350 guests. One block away is a more intimate dining room which suits functions of up to 70 people. The Amenities The experience staff of Julian's Catering & Banquet Facility offers banquet hall rental that includes complimentary setup and cleanup. This team welcomes wedding ceremonies and all of their wedding reception packages include buffets with Chinette and a choice of white, ivory, or black linens and napkins. They also offer catering packages as well as options for open bar and full bar.

from our guests saying what a great job they did. The space was large enough that guests didn't have trouble moving around (our final count was 123). Parking wasn't a problem on a Saturday. They let us set up the hall the day before, which was really nice. The only snags during the night were with the cake. When we went to cut our cake there wasn't a plate and fork for us to use. We had to awkwardly get one from the wedding party. Also, out wedding cake was chocolate and we got a sheet cake for people that wanted vanilla. They didn't cut our wedding cake and only served the vanilla cake. At the end of the night we had our large wedding cake that wasn't cut that we had to take apart and transport home, rather than cut all of it so it would be more available for guests to eat or take home. It would have been nice if someone just asked us what we wanted cut rather than assume they were both the same flavor. Overall, we had a very good experience. The cake issue wasn't enough to bring the rating down to 3-stars in my opinion. They did a great job, and the guests all had a great time.

cake and went around after dinner and picked up the plates. There was plenty of food. I am such a picky eater and he made food just for me. I would recommend him to anyone. My guest are still talking about how good it was.
